We updated to Phone 15 Pro Max back in November, from the iPhone 7 Plus. We love it!!!! It has been a major learning curve, however after a little more than a month we could not be happier!!!!
I kept mine (usually trade mine in for an upgrade but let my wife have the upgrade for a 16 Plus) I love it. It’s my daily driver over my OnePlus Open which I just permanently designated as a travel phone (last update was just bad, a lot of lag hopefully it’s fixed soon). Battery still holds up, lasting 17 hours off charger (91% battery health) and iOS 18 runs smooth. Looking to see what the 17 Pro Max has in store. Happy New Years!

Not a bad phone but has heating issues due to A17 Pro. I decided to spend the extra money for a 16 pro max with bigger battery and no heating issues with processor, bigger screen, better cameras. I think the 16 pro max is the best future proofed iphone to get.
@ I wouldn’t say it’s that bad, it’s certainly gotten much better but I decided to spend the extra money to get a brand new 16 pro max for peace of mind and future proofing since the a18 pro runs cooler and the phone has the new cooling system
I'm actually using my iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB right now. Still prefer my Android portfolio but every time I put my sim back in my S24 Ultra, by the next day it's back in the 15 Pro Max. At the moment I have both the 15PM and 16 Pro. Honestly there isn’t much difference and the differences are so minor that I’m continuing with the 15PM and sell the 16Pro

@ after like 40 minutes of gaming it does start to heat up a bit but that’s because I play resident evil village and assassin creed mirage. But doing regular day to day task it doesn’t get hot only in direct sunlight

I got the blue 15 Pro Max on Dec. 19th. I got mine from Amazon as a renewed device. Mine was bought by my parents. And I think they still paid over $1000 for it. Anyway, the body itself is immaculate, with the only physical defects being very small nicks in the display. Which aren’t really noticeable unless you really look for them. If you do, they look like small specs of dandruff that you can’t wipe off which is annoying. Furthermore, according to the battery health thing, it was manufactured in September of 2023, and first used in November 2023. It actually still has 100% maximum capacity. And only had two charge cycles when I first set it up. Now it shows nine. Either way, coming from an iPhone 11, I can say the battery is fantastic. Of course, it differs depending on use, but it lasts me anywhere between 6-12 hours. Whereas my 11 which has 76% capacity after three years of use, and I would get anywhere between 3-8 hours depending on use, that’s even after 3 years. The camera itself is also much better, but i haven’t really got to play with it that much. The one thing I do appreciate is the 25x zoom. As for its performance, obviously the A17 chip is a lot better than the A13 chip, and that’s even noticeable with handling smaller tasks, but I haven’t actually pushed it to its limits. Again, the phone is basically in new condition, and I love the blue color. I was honestly really surprised at how light the phone really is, I thought it would be a lot heavier than my 11. It feels about the same in weight imo. I love the titanium design, but I still prefer the stainless steel, as it looks more premium. And other than the small nicks in the display, the only thing I don’t like about this phone is the USB-C. I get that Apple didn’t really have a choice thanks to the EU or whatever, but it my experience with it in the last couple of weeks, it works great, and it may just be the charger that I bought, but I find that the charger wiggles a little if you try to move it, and doesn’t actually feel secure compared to the old lightning cable. But, If anyone is considering to buy one of these in 2025, I would definitely recommend, especially if you’re coming from a 12 or older. Of course it depends on where you buy it, and its condition that’s it’s in, but i think that for most people, they won’t be disappointed. -My apologies for the long comment! :’)
I've had a Samsung S24 Ultra for about a week and i loved it. But a few days ago i decided to swap it for a 15 Pro Max and i'm loving it so far. It just feels more comfortable in my hand and all the animations and scrolling through apps just feel a bit more polished and refined. Both phones are great anyway.

Honestly i got a 15pm as a secondary device, and honestly the triple AAA titles run amazing and far better than anything android has to offer, Re Village, 7 and 2 Remake run amazing and look great, Emulation is cool and ok in my s24 Ultra but doesn't come close to the native performance of the iphone. But in terms of a phone itself the Android side of the force is just to complete, i can't give up doing everything i want, and the navigation on ios is a mess, but for gaming alone the A17 Pro really surprised me, but the display, cameras, video, overall speed and performance the s24u is miles ahead
It’s an excellent device. I am using it for almost a year now. The only downside is the battery. Initially for few months, the battery was excellent. Later on, it’s draining fast with battery health clocking at 95. Not sure why the battery in iPhones get reduced power sooner than other mobile brands as is not the case with Samsung or OnePlus or Pixel phones as I have experienced.
Back then I changed my phone after every two year,from 4S to 5S and 6S plus. After the 6S plus I changed every four year,that mean the 11 Pro Max and after another four years I have now the 15 Pro Max. Obviously is the best IPhone I ever had! 😂 Until after four years when the 19 Pro Max will arrive this will be my mainly driver. Eventually the 18 PM if the technology in my 15 PM will not catch up,but I doubt about that.

Not a bad phone to pick up. But it is showing its age which is crazy to say over 1 year. That could be because of big iOS 18 is but my phone lags every now and then. It will randomly restart itself at least once every other week and it take a little bit for certain things to load emojis for example, and sometimes the photos
Hmm this could be early iOS 18 issues, I find my 16 Pro Max to also do weird stuff like this so its not really the age, Apple needs to sort out the bugs and software

I noticed comparing 15 pro vs 16 pro the bezels are little less but very noticeable looking at side by side. Apple did amazing job on bezels.

It is unfortunate that the battery has degraded, battery health tends to decrease over time but it shouldn't be that much.
