I have 2:30 PM on my birth certificate, but am adopted from South Korea. Is there a likelihood that doctors round up the time? Aquarius rising seems to fit me more, but it seems like one of those things that I may never know. Would a chart rectification reading help with this?
My AC is at zero degrees. People seem to be surprised when they see that. Is this odd? Does it have any special meaning? Is that a stronger characteristic when it's at zero degrees? Thanks for any info!
It just kind of tricky because it means that it could be in one sign or the other, and unless your birth time is very precise they might not be sure that they can rely on it being at zero degrees of that sign versus 29 of the other.
What if our birth certificate is from a different state than where we currently are? Doesn’t the website automatically use your current time zone? For example: I was born in Pacific time and now reside in Central Time. If I’m calculating my chart in central time, will my chart be wrong?
why is it important to know the birthplace? I used a table with signs and hours and found my ascendant so I guess the ascendant doesn't depend on the birthplace. so the location influences what on the map?
The degree of the Ascendant can be different depending on the city you are in, because it has to do with where you are located on early, so the birth place is actually very important.

Each sign has 30° You could be right on edge, and maybe that's why it's confusing. Be sure to check that you input the same data and try more than two sites to see what happens :) Hope this helps

@@atomicnumber8051 If you look at the chart data in the top left it should say whether it is taking daylight savings into account, which it should do automatically, unless you were born somewhere where those shifts are not well documented.
My ascendant is Gemini but I don’t identify with it at all, like I’m an Aries in most planets (Scorpio too ) and it’s like very opposing, I’m nothing like one
Nop...but for your Annual Solar Return it would change due to your location by the time of your Birthday...so since your time place has changed..then... the quality of Energy comes from Planets changed too...involving either a good or a bad changings for your own life... causing a different course in your destiny..
Yeah, you can't calculate the Ascendant or rising sign without at least some approximate idea of the time of birth. So it is a good idea to exhaust all options to see if you can get even an approximation of what part of the day it was
I did this and when I did it, it said my ascendant sign was Sagittarius. which sagittarius is already my sign. Did I do something wrong? I put in all my correct information.
It may just mean that both your Ascendant and Sun are in Sagittarius, which happens if you are born near sunrise. So you just have more of a concentration of that sign.

With a margin of error with 2 minutes & half...your Birth chart is not yours...this is why true Astrologers ask for 5 major events ( at least) for ppl ...or so called in Arabic term : Hilajiyah..which means..the clue of Soul.....so they be able to build a delicate reliable Birth chart ...and believe me..its such a hard work to do that kind of effort....but its worth it....

If you want to learn how to calculate charts by hand then there is a book on Amazon titled Simply Math: A Comprehensive Guide to Easy & Accurate Chart Calculation. You will have to get a few other books of tables to go along with it, but that is the starting point.

What time are you putting in? You may have been born at the final degrees of cancer rising

The software is theoretically supposed to do that automatically.
