If you come across someone who is "overstating" a quality about themselves, interpret that as an attempt at holding firm on a decision about something which they may privately feel confused or *ambivalent* about or which they may be pressured or expected to feel differently about by others. And if they do feel ambivalent, look for *that* in the chart - not the quality itself. People are not usually singular, nor do they live in a vacuum.

Rectification is important even when you have the Birth Certificate time. One way to check that your birthtime is correct is to watch Mars crossing the descendant- the most conflict prone of all transits! If you have a sudden argument when Mars hits the degree and arc minute of your descendant, it’s a good sign your chart is correct.
I can't believe this! I have just thought of one particular moment and have had a look at my transits. Guess what? Mars was very close to the descendant when I had a certain issue come up with a colleague. It may have seemed minor to others but it is out of character for me to not hold my tongue. It was a moment of direct confrontation that made me feel quite flustered later.
As an astrologer and somebody who unfortunately have C-sections for all three children, it depends on the mom and the anesthesia so the normal case is if the schedule is for 7 AM or 8 AM, that’s not including the time it takes the mom to get numb enough to perform the procedure and then there’s variables like one of my kids was upside down and fully extended lol so I had 8 AM C-sections and 852 and 858 children. By my last one was 8 AM C-section and he’s born at like 832. He was a quicky lol . I Luckily was fully awake so I was looking at the clock so I’m positive of the time. But as scheduled C-section never means a scheduled time in my humble opinion
Does this mean that for the C-section births the recorded times were of the operation’s scheduled hour and not when the baby was actually born? I was born with a C-section in early 90’s and years ago I went to the hospital archive to learn my birth time. It was a huge notebook of records and all information was noted manually but what I realized was that everyone’s birth times were recorded with 15 minutes intervals, which is totally unreliable. So I wonder since then if it was actually the time the operation started (or scheduled) or when I was out of my mother’s body 😒🤷🏻♀️

For 42 years my mother told the story of how they announced my birth: my parents visited a cousin's birthday party, came home late in the evening and my mother went into labor, me seeing the light at 8 am. After asking again a few months ago, my mother found my baby book in which she had written I was born around 5 pm. I went from a Gemini 1st house to a Virgo 1st house having Rahu and Saturn close to my ascendant. Joy.
Something on the same line. Till 42 I believed 1:45 am then she says I was still at home at 1:50 am and it took her 2:30 to get to hospital. Then labor was too long. The second astrologer says 3:05 am. I am skeptical about that too based on description mom is giving. I was breached and if few docs worked to get me out 1976 as a breached baby 3:05 does not make sense. Anyways!!!

I cannot thank you enough for this video - simply amazing! I don't know my birth time - had it rectified by an astrologer based on my mother's vague recollections of a 2 hour birth time window (which I have found out from other mothers' recollections can be understandably completely wrong after what they have just gone through! one friend his mother said it was in the morning but his father's diary revealed it to be late at night!) BUT your video gave me the idea to ask the hospital where I was born and they DO keep records! You have to pay £10 to have it - so worth it! I know this may also not be 100% accurate but wow would be so cool!!!! Have just sent an email request. Here is desperately praying that after 40 years, I will know my birth time! And whilst Mercury is retrograde in my 5th house - very appropriate! Or is it my 6th house... or 4th house... I might know for sure in the near future. I am so excited!!!!!

This is what makes Jyotish a Very relevant tool to use. We have Divisional Charts that can be utilized as well as using events along with time tested methods that differentiate with Different Dasa's and making predictions on confirming past events to ensure that you are using the most accurate birth time that can be possible. Because many times I have seen D9 Navāṁśa chart that changes after 24 seconds or less or within a few minutes that in no way could be used with only the birth chart.
Regarding health issues with 1st house Saturn transits: I'm an astrologer and used to focus almost exclusively on quarterly house systems, but I got really sick literally the exact day that Saturn entered Aquarius. My ascendant is Aquarius! That transit ended up being extremely difficult but extremely beneficial because I was able to identify a handful of chronic health issues that had never been severe enough in the past to identify and aquire proper diagnoses and treatments. Now, my health is better than it's ever been in my life, and it's because of that extremely difficult Saturn transit through my 1st house. I always tell people that Saturn transits can be extremely beneficial if you're willing to do the work that Saturn is putting you in the position to do. If you're willing to do the work and embrace the limitations, it can be possible to build a foundation for success. Saturn is great for manifesting things in the real world of you're willing to respect and work within the current restrictions, learn from the situation, put in the effort, do things at the correct time, and do things in the correct way (no shortcuts!) After that experience, I saw a great deal of value in whole signs, especially for mundane subjects.
i am 0" scorpio rising according to my birth certificate but if the nurses were delayed by less than 4 minutes in recording the exact time i popped out i become a 29" libra rising! it was the early 90s and i was a super fast delivery + the conditions of my birth were pretty chaotic so it seems plausible. i'm having a massive identity crisis lmao

It's when the baby cries for the first time. But there is also smthg else called soul contracts (in Greek at least) that happens during some of the first weeks of the pregnancy. But we don't know exactly when and idk much more than that rn. 😅
No matter how crazy the situation was, I remember all my children's birth times. I know this is dependent on the person, but I would never deny my children piece of mind if they wanted their birth time from their hospital records. 1:16:25
My birth certificate indicates I was born at 12:05 AM, but when I was born the nurse turned to my mother and told here I was born at 12:01 AM. I have used both over the years, but now I have settled on 12:01. Back then you could call a ma bell number to get the exact time and I'll bet that delivery room nurse used it. I appreciate her attention to this detail. The only time this difference has been a concern was with Jyotish.

Another source of very small errors is parallax. In my son's case, the official clock was an analog wall clock hung very high on the wall. They marked him at 19:48, but I could clearly see that the correct mark was :49, once the angle of view was accounted for.
Thanks, an interesting topic. My Asc is marked in the hospital 20.20 (8.20 PM) and I was born 20th Feb. I always thought if the midwife thought that this rhymes well... So according to that given time, my Asc is 29 Virgo 57. My progressed Moon was 29 Virgo 56 on 10th June 2017. The progressed Moon was 00 Libra on 14 th June 2017. The thing is that I had a MAJOR move and relocation at that time, and the move itself took place 1 st June 2017. The recent years, I have thought of myself as an Asc Libra. However, on 1 st June 2017, the progressed Moon was 29 Virgo 36. I don´t know. Both Venus and Mercury are in Aquarius. Well, it does not really matter, but it would be interesting to know that how accurate is the timing when assessing the Asc in rectifying it with the progressed Moon.

Thank you for this video on a very important topic. I would have liked, however, before everything, a definition of what "birth time" actually is. A birth takes time (no pun intended). Astrologically speaking, when is the exact time of birth? Is it one minute or rather a longer process (would explain a lot about the Asc. being more of an area)? Is it when the head appears, when the umbilical cord is severed, the first independent breath (the latter is my personal inclination, as all independent vital functions start here and hence all cycles, e.g. breath, pulse etc.). What's your take on that?
I was born at 9:30pm (birth certificate) in a natural birth with a 27 degree cancer ascendant. My whole sign houses make much more sense to me with a Leo rising 11 minutes later. My mother says it's accurate tho. It's so annoying 🤣
The reason why i feel uncertain about my rising sign is the fact that the location i was born is politically GMT+7:00 but physically I'd say it must be GMT+7:45. We all know that each 15° represents 1 hour. I was born within pisces rising and aries cusp. Pisces rising only lasts for 1,5 hours, adding such minutes kind of sucks and turns my interest in astrology off. Using the default setting from the websites automatically changes my entire chart, especially rising which is the most important part of astrology. I'm confused now and about to desert my astrology knowledge🥺
Thanks. At the moment I am trying to understand a bit more about it. It has been a life long theme since I was teenager and wanted to know the exact time to have an accurate birth chart reading. There is a time window of about 3 hours. I got one astrologer doing a retification before and it was different in 2h19 min from the time I thought it was and still I feel not quite sure mainly because he did not explain to me how he did it but came back to me in a very confident way saying he got it to the exact minute.
this talk reminds how john townley who wrote a book on composite charts looked creating multiply composite charts aka group composites were if we keep adding stuff to groups especially in astrology it creates mud,instead of a well defined color,this is one of the reasons i get kinda annoyed with us creating more labels for us,and everything around us,even micheal munkasey who wrote a book on keywords,and houses felt adding more stuff confused,i also feel this when i'm doing something,and i have more stuff to do added to my list of stuff to do,in that if i have a set list of stuff to do,but am given more than i feel i need to do,i get upset,and cranky,like when i know i should be somewhere,but add less time to the equation,so i end up rushing,and then i get more upset,and forget what i was doing,meaning instead of pacing,i'm letting the clock determine stuff,instead of going with the flow of stuff,and i became more aware of this when i found out i have stuff like ocd,and this made me aware that i need more pacing than rushing in alot of stuff,and when i have more pacing i'm more relaxed,and less upset,but i notice that when i did ptolemy's primary directions,and reset my chart a little bit earlier,partly cause i found out i was born premature,that stuff lined up more with the reset earlier time,than on the time listed on my birth certificate,which in a way makes sense since if i was born early than i should have,it means the doctors,and nurses were spending alot more making sure i made it,than what the clock actually said when they jotted down the time,since as soon as i was born,i was put in a isolet,icu,and in another hospital,i just find this stuff very interesting,but this is also why i've found stuff like profections very helpful,cause it says a certain house,and the planetary that rules it,and its sub rulers,affect our lives more than just saying o mars just passed over the 7th house,meaning it you are in a profection year where mars becomes active,maybe we become alot more active,and if we use whole sign seasonal houses,it makes it easier to see which points in our charts are being lit up like christmas trees,which are not,and which are just nuetral,plus it helps us appreciate as a system of knowledge like the moon in that it reflects stuff around us,and stuff around is represented by the sun,so maybe astrology as a system was created when there was a full moon seasonal point,meaning the moon represent earth,and stuff like us,and the sun represents space around us,so the moon reflects what the shows since the sun is the light of stuff around us,and the moon as a mirror reflects stuff,so this is probably where the idea of as above,below came about,so this really means astrology is part of nature around us,like other stuff born,or created,and so it shouldn't be feared but used as helpful guide,and maybe percy seymour was right that cause astrology is like sun/moon in a full moon phase,the also represents dna,since us,and all animals around us have dna,and the sun just affects this through stuff like viruses,cause viruses are microscopic,and are in us,and around us,and so when planets affect the earth through the sun,and moon this how it actually works,since even animals from a to z have metals in there bodies like us,that are influenced by viruses,which are oriented by the sun,and moon,and this was just in a recent group of indepth scientific articles,so i wonder if why there is a sorta distrust between science,astrology,and probably religon is that science,and religon are jealous of astrology as a deeper system,and that all 3 systems are just part of nature that we view in certain ways,so it seems there should be no fear,but even in star wars the jedi feel that fear creates darkness,and darkness makes people,and stuff bad,good,or nuetral,depending on their view,and maybe if we feared less, stuff like astrology might be more appreciated,and helpful,but this is just my view of this stuff through pondering,but hopeful this is helpful to you guys.

I was born between 12:30 pm and 13:30 pm. I'm either a scorpio rising or a Sagittarius rising. but I can relate to both. additionally I have Pluto in the 1st house so I'm conflicted. Someone please help ☺
Of course, most times are rounded, because in America medical people aren't concerned with accuracy. Some States, like Illinois, don't record birth times at all...
My husband was born in Egypt where they don't record birth or death times even in the hospital. Also my dad who has passed and we don't have his birth certificate...trying to rectify both 😮💨😌
Your moon sign is much easier to find than your rising sign. There will only be 1 or 2 possibilities for your moon sign. Go to www.astrocal.co.uk/moon-sign-calculator/ and put in your birth date and set the time as 00:00 (the first minute of the day) and 23:59 (the last minute) and see if the moon sign changes. If it doesn't your moon sign is the sign that comes up, if not then just read the two different summaries for each and determine which one reflects your emotions the most. If you're still confused, it's definitely one of those two signs so just google "moon in Libra" for example and read a few different summaries for each one and one of them will start to resonate with you a lot more than the other. That is how I found mine and I eventually did the same for my rising sign and it's very accurate. Hope this helps, good luck!
But is a rectification even accurate ? I had two done by different ppl and got two entirely different risings and gave the same information for both - one pisces one Capricorn - and personally I think my rising is Aquarius
My mother told me I was born 6:30 PM and she is sure since the nurse told her the time.. I’m Capricorn Rising based on that but one minute later I would be Aquarius and I’m lucky enough that I have the same ruler so I can really see the topics.. my Saturn is in Taurus day time with Jupiter so it’s either 4th house or 5th.. for quite some time I wanted to know the difference between aqua and cap.. Capricorn archetype suits me.. but I have Capricorn moon too so it’s hard for me to tell if I interpret it based on the moon or rising 😅 but I guesss for most of my life I was obsessed with relationships and I still don’t know if I want to have children I’m scared of pregnancy that I will die or other issues I have very specific opinions about parenthood and I made it clear that I want to go to therapy so I wont pass my trauma on my potential children and I’m planning to read books about how to raise them well… so I guess it’s Saturn delaying? 😅I have some family issues but I quess I can blame my moon in cap for that…. I move out so it’s not my main concern.. I just want peaceful Life 😅 Idk but I hope I’m right because I’m tired of my identity crisis 😂

In Australia we have daylight savings, where the clocks are turned forward in summer months to provide more daylight hours! 🙄 So should I consider my child born 1:13 am in January as birth time 12:13? am?
Many thanks for this insightful talk. Quick question: how would you decide between Capricorn and Aquarius Rising Sign? As both of them are ruled by Saturn in traditional astrology, so the House placement won't give us any clues. Would you look at where Uranus is for Aquarius in this case?
Using Whole Sign houses, Saturn's house placement would most certainly change, as each sign is a house with the Whole Sign house system. Say you had Saturn in Virgo: if you had Capricorn rising, your Saturn would be in your 9th House (travel, higher education, religion, etc); whereas if you had Aquarius rising, your Saturn in Virgo would be in your 8th House (death, taxes, other people's money, etc). Other considerations aside, these two would have distinctly different characteristics.
Capricorn Rising babies look like adult or old, so check your baby photos. Aquarius tend to have elfish look, they don't really fit in the group and might be very isolated.

@@lailaabuda2555 I'm sorry, I really should try to reply more quickly. Well, I believe if astrology is legit, we should be able to work backwards. So, ideally, I'd consider your physical appearance, depending on other planets near the Ascendant, deciding between taurus and aries should be fairly simple. I'll look at your chart and get back to you sooner this time.
If my birth hospital was rounding tomes to the nearest half hour hour how badly does that mess up the astrology chart. Is it just moon and ascendant that need to be more accurate than birth times rounded to the nearest 1/2 hour? In a godless mechanical world Astrology should be no better at predicting unless something can be measured in solar stems that effect psyche like night and day and and gravity. ! But my chart does seem capable of predicting. However I suspect that my 12-30 pm birth time was rounded to the nearest half hour. My birth chart says that my moon is conjunct my ascendant but I do not seem to operate the way emotionally that would be expected of a moon conjunct ascendant person would be expected to act. I can ignore my emotions if I want to. I can be methodical and calculating in a crisis. Other people perceive me as being less emotionally driven than the average human but I know my emotions always play a role and I do feel my emotions. Truth is my emotions might be bigger than average but that is not how others perceive me,

I have a Scorpio Sun, Gemini Rising, Capricorn Moon, Saggitarius in Venus! I have had several charts. I was born in Dearborn, Michigan and date is 10/28/1957 and time of birth 07:47 PM. I was talking to a professional astrologer and I plugged all this information. It was military time and it came up that my Rising sign changed to Scorpio Rising. P.S. I have the traits of Gemini and I have the appearance of Gemini. Is there any chance to get that placed correctly? My mother is a Virgo and had problems with her kidneys and she knew the time exactly and it is on my birth certificate!
I would guess that a majority of mothers who misremember times of birth have had more than one birth, and the experiences are all mixed together, in which case, siblings would be a better reference, if they exist.
I just learned I was born with the Sun, Mercury, and Mars within 10 degrees of each other. Nothing new to learn here. I have known that I "think with my fists" for the last 20 years.

If you come across someone who is "overstating" a quality about themselves, interpret that as an attempt at holding firm on a decision about something which they may privately feel confused or *ambivalent* about or which they may be pressured or expected to feel differently about by others. And if they do feel ambivalent, look for *that* in the chart - not the quality itself. People are not usually singular, nor do they live in a vacuum.

Rectification is important even when you have the Birth Certificate time.
One way to check that your birthtime is correct is to watch Mars crossing the descendant- the most conflict prone of all transits! If you have a sudden argument when Mars hits the degree and arc minute of your descendant, it’s a good sign your chart is correct.

I can't believe this! I have just thought of one particular moment and have had a look at my transits. Guess what? Mars was very close to the descendant when I had a certain issue come up with a colleague. It may have seemed minor to others but it is out of character for me to not hold my tongue. It was a moment of direct confrontation that made me feel quite flustered later.

As an astrologer and somebody who unfortunately have C-sections for all three children, it depends on the mom and the anesthesia so the normal case is if the schedule is for 7 AM or 8 AM, that’s not including the time it takes the mom to get numb enough to perform the procedure and then there’s variables like one of my kids was upside down and fully extended lol so I had 8 AM C-sections and 852 and 858 children. By my last one was 8 AM C-section and he’s born at like 832. He was a quicky lol . I Luckily was fully awake so I was looking at the clock so I’m positive of the time. But as scheduled C-section never means a scheduled time in my humble opinion
Does this mean that for the C-section births the recorded times were of the operation’s scheduled hour and not when the baby was actually born? I was born with a C-section in early 90’s and years ago I went to the hospital archive to learn my birth time. It was a huge notebook of records and all information was noted manually but what I realized was that everyone’s birth times were recorded with 15 minutes intervals, which is totally unreliable. So I wonder since then if it was actually the time the operation started (or scheduled) or when I was out of my mother’s body 😒🤷🏻♀️

For 42 years my mother told the story of how they announced my birth: my parents visited a cousin's birthday party, came home late in the evening and my mother went into labor, me seeing the light at 8 am.
After asking again a few months ago, my mother found my baby book in which she had written I was born around 5 pm. I went from a Gemini 1st house to a Virgo 1st house having Rahu and Saturn close to my ascendant. Joy.
Something on the same line. Till 42 I believed 1:45 am then she says I was still at home at 1:50 am and it took her 2:30 to get to hospital. Then labor was too long. The second astrologer says 3:05 am. I am skeptical about that too based on description mom is giving. I was breached and if few docs worked to get me out 1976 as a breached baby 3:05 does not make sense. Anyways!!!

I cannot thank you enough for this video - simply amazing! I don't know my birth time - had it rectified by an astrologer based on my mother's vague recollections of a 2 hour birth time window (which I have found out from other mothers' recollections can be understandably completely wrong after what they have just gone through! one friend his mother said it was in the morning but his father's diary revealed it to be late at night!) BUT your video gave me the idea to ask the hospital where I was born and they DO keep records! You have to pay £10 to have it - so worth it! I know this may also not be 100% accurate but wow would be so cool!!!! Have just sent an email request. Here is desperately praying that after 40 years, I will know my birth time! And whilst Mercury is retrograde in my 5th house - very appropriate! Or is it my 6th house... or 4th house... I might know for sure in the near future. I am so excited!!!!!

This is what makes Jyotish a Very relevant tool to use. We have Divisional Charts that can be utilized as well as using events along with time tested methods that differentiate with Different Dasa's and making predictions on confirming past events to ensure that you are using the most accurate birth time that can be possible. Because many times I have seen D9 Navāṁśa chart that changes after 24 seconds or less or within a few minutes that in no way could be used with only the birth chart.
I found that using the ascentional chart and its transits is a powerful tool for rectifying the hour

Regarding health issues with 1st house Saturn transits: I'm an astrologer and used to focus almost exclusively on quarterly house systems, but I got really sick literally the exact day that Saturn entered Aquarius. My ascendant is Aquarius! That transit ended up being extremely difficult but extremely beneficial because I was able to identify a handful of chronic health issues that had never been severe enough in the past to identify and aquire proper diagnoses and treatments. Now, my health is better than it's ever been in my life, and it's because of that extremely difficult Saturn transit through my 1st house.
I always tell people that Saturn transits can be extremely beneficial if you're willing to do the work that Saturn is putting you in the position to do. If you're willing to do the work and embrace the limitations, it can be possible to build a foundation for success. Saturn is great for manifesting things in the real world of you're willing to respect and work within the current restrictions, learn from the situation, put in the effort, do things at the correct time, and do things in the correct way (no shortcuts!)
After that experience, I saw a great deal of value in whole signs, especially for mundane subjects.

My birth certificate indicates I was born at 12:05 AM, but when I was born the nurse turned to my mother and told here I was born at 12:01 AM. I have used both over the years, but now I have settled on 12:01. Back then you could call a ma bell number to get the exact time and I'll bet that delivery room nurse used it. I appreciate her attention to this detail. The only time this difference has been a concern was with Jyotish.

Another source of very small errors is parallax. In my son's case, the official clock was an analog wall clock hung very high on the wall. They marked him at 19:48, but I could clearly see that the correct mark was :49, once the angle of view was accounted for.
Thanks, an interesting topic. My Asc is marked in the hospital 20.20 (8.20 PM) and I was born 20th Feb. I always thought if the midwife thought that this rhymes well... So according to that given time, my Asc is 29 Virgo 57. My progressed Moon was 29 Virgo 56 on 10th June 2017. The progressed Moon was 00 Libra on 14 th June 2017. The thing is that I had a MAJOR move and relocation at that time, and the move itself took place 1 st June 2017. The recent years, I have thought of myself as an Asc Libra. However, on 1 st June 2017, the progressed Moon was 29 Virgo 36. I don´t know. Both Venus and Mercury are in Aquarius. Well, it does not really matter, but it would be interesting to know that how accurate is the timing when assessing the Asc in rectifying it with the progressed Moon.

Thank you for this video on a very important topic. I would have liked, however, before everything, a definition of what "birth time" actually is. A birth takes time (no pun intended). Astrologically speaking, when is the exact time of birth? Is it one minute or rather a longer process (would explain a lot about the Asc. being more of an area)? Is it when the head appears, when the umbilical cord is severed, the first independent breath (the latter is my personal inclination, as all independent vital functions start here and hence all cycles, e.g. breath, pulse etc.). What's your take on that?

The reason why i feel uncertain about my rising sign is the fact that the location i was born is politically GMT+7:00 but physically I'd say it must be GMT+7:45. We all know that each 15° represents 1 hour. I was born within pisces rising and aries cusp. Pisces rising only lasts for 1,5 hours, adding such minutes kind of sucks and turns my interest in astrology off. Using the default setting from the websites automatically changes my entire chart, especially rising which is the most important part of astrology. I'm confused now and about to desert my astrology knowledge🥺
Thanks. At the moment I am trying to understand a bit more about it. It has been a life long theme since I was teenager and wanted to know the exact time to have an accurate birth chart reading. There is a time window of about 3 hours. I got one astrologer doing a retification before and it was different in 2h19 min from the time I thought it was and still I feel not quite sure mainly because he did not explain to me how he did it but came back to me in a very confident way saying he got it to the exact minute.
this talk reminds how john townley who wrote a book on composite charts looked creating multiply composite charts aka group composites were if we keep adding stuff to groups especially in astrology it creates mud,instead of a well defined color,this is one of the reasons i get kinda annoyed with us creating more labels for us,and everything around us,even micheal munkasey who wrote a book on keywords,and houses felt adding more stuff confused,i also feel this when i'm doing something,and i have more stuff to do added to my list of stuff to do,in that if i have a set list of stuff to do,but am given more than i feel i need to do,i get upset,and cranky,like when i know i should be somewhere,but add less time to the equation,so i end up rushing,and then i get more upset,and forget what i was doing,meaning instead of pacing,i'm letting the clock determine stuff,instead of going with the flow of stuff,and i became more aware of this when i found out i have stuff like ocd,and this made me aware that i need more pacing than rushing in alot of stuff,and when i have more pacing i'm more relaxed,and less upset,but i notice that when i did ptolemy's primary directions,and reset my chart a little bit earlier,partly cause i found out i was born premature,that stuff lined up more with the reset earlier time,than on the time listed on my birth certificate,which in a way makes sense since if i was born early than i should have,it means the doctors,and nurses were spending alot more making sure i made it,than what the clock actually said when they jotted down the time,since as soon as i was born,i was put in a isolet,icu,and in another hospital,i just find this stuff very interesting,but this is also why i've found stuff like profections very helpful,cause it says a certain house,and the planetary that rules it,and its sub rulers,affect our lives more than just saying o mars just passed over the 7th house,meaning it you are in a profection year where mars becomes active,maybe we become alot more active,and if we use whole sign seasonal houses,it makes it easier to see which points in our charts are being lit up like christmas trees,which are not,and which are just nuetral,plus it helps us appreciate as a system of knowledge like the moon in that it reflects stuff around us,and stuff around is represented by the sun,so maybe astrology as a system was created when there was a full moon seasonal point,meaning the moon represent earth,and stuff like us,and the sun represents space around us,so the moon reflects what the shows since the sun is the light of stuff around us,and the moon as a mirror reflects stuff,so this is probably where the idea of as above,below came about,so this really means astrology is part of nature around us,like other stuff born,or created,and so it shouldn't be feared but used as helpful guide,and maybe percy seymour was right that cause astrology is like sun/moon in a full moon phase,the also represents dna,since us,and all animals around us have dna,and the sun just affects this through stuff like viruses,cause viruses are microscopic,and are in us,and around us,and so when planets affect the earth through the sun,and moon this how it actually works,since even animals from a to z have metals in there bodies like us,that are influenced by viruses,which are oriented by the sun,and moon,and this was just in a recent group of indepth scientific articles,so i wonder if why there is a sorta distrust between science,astrology,and probably religon is that science,and religon are jealous of astrology as a deeper system,and that all 3 systems are just part of nature that we view in certain ways,so it seems there should be no fear,but even in star wars the jedi feel that fear creates darkness,and darkness makes people,and stuff bad,good,or nuetral,depending on their view,and maybe if we feared less, stuff like astrology might be more appreciated,and helpful,but this is just my view of this stuff through pondering,but hopeful this is helpful to you guys.

Your moon sign is much easier to find than your rising sign. There will only be 1 or 2 possibilities for your moon sign. Go to www.astrocal.co.uk/moon-sign-calculator/ and put in your birth date and set the time as 00:00 (the first minute of the day) and 23:59 (the last minute) and see if the moon sign changes. If it doesn't your moon sign is the sign that comes up, if not then just read the two different summaries for each and determine which one reflects your emotions the most. If you're still confused, it's definitely one of those two signs so just google "moon in Libra" for example and read a few different summaries for each one and one of them will start to resonate with you a lot more than the other. That is how I found mine and I eventually did the same for my rising sign and it's very accurate. Hope this helps, good luck!

My mother told me I was born 6:30 PM and she is sure since the nurse told her the time.. I’m Capricorn Rising based on that but one minute later I would be Aquarius and I’m lucky enough that I have the same ruler so I can really see the topics.. my Saturn is in Taurus day time with Jupiter so it’s either 4th house or 5th.. for quite some time I wanted to know the difference between aqua and cap.. Capricorn archetype suits me.. but I have Capricorn moon too so it’s hard for me to tell if I interpret it based on the moon or rising 😅 but I guesss for most of my life I was obsessed with relationships and I still don’t know if I want to have children I’m scared of pregnancy that I will die or other issues I have very specific opinions about parenthood and I made it clear that I want to go to therapy so I wont pass my trauma on my potential children and I’m planning to read books about how to raise them well… so I guess it’s Saturn delaying? 😅I have some family issues but I quess I can blame my moon in cap for that…. It can change things slightly if you use the exact hospital coordinates, but only barely most of the time.
In my experience, parents always know whether it was morning, afternoon, or evening...

Gon Astrologer : thanks that does make sense or the timing needs rectification because major planets move to 9th house (including ascendant ruler) which seems to be an area of focus for this individual. Astrology is one big puzzle :)
Which system are you using(whole house, placidus, Koch ect.)?
One solution for faster rectification is to use a diviner’s pendulum. Determine through that, then check the events
I did not have my birth certificate for 30 years. Used a pendulum. I can set my watch by my rectified chart.
In Australia we have daylight savings, where the clocks are turned forward in summer months to provide more daylight hours! 🙄 So should I consider my child born 1:13 am in January as birth time 12:13? am?

Many thanks for this insightful talk. Quick question: how would you decide between Capricorn and Aquarius Rising Sign? As both of them are ruled by Saturn in traditional astrology, so the House placement won't give us any clues. Would you look at where Uranus is for Aquarius in this case?
One is more riged one is more unusual or rules breaker
Using Whole Sign houses, Saturn's house placement would most certainly change, as each sign is a house with the Whole Sign house system. Say you had Saturn in Virgo: if you had Capricorn rising, your Saturn would be in your 9th House (travel, higher education, religion, etc); whereas if you had Aquarius rising, your Saturn in Virgo would be in your 8th House (death, taxes, other people's money, etc). Other considerations aside, these two would have distinctly different characteristics.
Capricorn Rising babies look like adult or old, so check your baby photos. Aquarius tend to have elfish look, they don't really fit in the group and might be very isolated.

@@lailaabuda2555 I'm sorry, I really should try to reply more quickly. Well, I believe if astrology is legit, we should be able to work backwards. So, ideally, I'd consider your physical appearance, depending on other planets near the Ascendant, deciding between taurus and aries should be fairly simple. I'll look at your chart and get back to you sooner this time.
If my birth hospital was rounding tomes to the nearest half hour hour how badly does that mess up the astrology chart. Is it just moon and ascendant that need to be more accurate than birth times rounded to the nearest 1/2 hour? In a godless mechanical world Astrology should be no better at predicting unless something can be measured in solar stems that effect psyche like night and day and and gravity.

My birth chart says that my moon is conjunct my ascendant but I do not seem to operate the way emotionally that would be expected of a moon conjunct ascendant person would be expected to act. I can ignore my emotions if I want to. I can be methodical and calculating in a crisis. Other people perceive me as being less emotionally driven than the average human but I know my emotions always play a role and I do feel my emotions. Truth is my emotions might be bigger than average but that is not how others perceive me,

I have a Scorpio Sun, Gemini Rising, Capricorn Moon, Saggitarius in Venus! I have had several charts. I was born in Dearborn, Michigan and date is 10/28/1957 and time of birth 07:47 PM. I was talking to a professional astrologer and I plugged all this information. It was military time and it came up that my Rising sign changed to Scorpio Rising. P.S. I have the traits of Gemini and I have the appearance of Gemini. Is there any chance to get that placed correctly? My mother is a Virgo and had problems with her kidneys and she knew the time exactly and it is on my birth certificate!
I would guess that a majority of mothers who misremember times of birth have had more than one birth, and the experiences are all mixed together, in which case, siblings would be a better reference, if they exist.
