I saw him playing solo at the the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, many many years ago and was CAPTIVATED, in AWE of his performance and wrote a story on my experience, mentioning also that the audience was exceptionally "small", yet the applause they gave him was tremendous!!! Recently I came across my article again and went to RUclips to find out more about him and was THRILLED to see how famous he has become, BRAVO-BRAVO, bless him !!!

I loved the trias, István Székely, Dezsö Ránki and Zoltán Kocsis so much. (András Schiff I detected later, Jenö Jandó was never my favorite). So nice to listen the young Ránki here again.
