Sublime. Is there anything more sublime, heart rending than the andintino? One of my favorite episodes in all the literatuire, and she plays it like she has a deep understanding. As others have said, the tempo is a little fast, but clearly not rushed. No compromises were made as a result of the tempo. And of course, let me repeat, the sublime andinto! You haven't a soul if it doesn't bring you close to tears.

This is how I met this wonderful concerto and Mrs Uchida. Btw, this K 271 is probably the first great concerto that Mozart composed. The other ones are fine, but this is a gem 😁

For me, one of Mozart's most life-affirming works. Above average composition for a 21 year old! Beautifully performed by Ms. Uchida.

I find Mitsuko Uchida to have too much virtuosity.. but, I really liked this performance .... by far her best.
