- Are you looking for a way to visit Penang, Malaysia on a budget? Or do you just want to find hidden gems in Penang and hang out with the locals, off the beaten path from the other tourists! The local bike sharing program, LinkBike, will be your friend! Today, our Malaysian travel guide, Jonathan took us along a newly-built dedicated bike path from George Town, the city centre of Penang, to Bayan Lepas, 12 km along the eastern shore. If you're looking for things to do in Penang, getting on a bike is a very convenient way to find some. We visited famous landmarks like Penang Bridge along the way, and even had a picnic by the water!
Let Tattle Tales be your Malaysia travel guide! Each "Tattle Tales" video features a different experience with a local host. We like to focus on things that are a little more off the beaten path, where you can experience the local culture, not just the tourist traps. We release new videos every Saturday. Season 1 takes place in Malaysia and we'll deliver 25 episodes from January to June 2020!

Penang Bridge began construction in 1982 and completed in 1985. Not early 70s. Lovely video btw
Damn, what a beautiful place Penang is
So ... what's the first place you'll travel to once the pandemic is over?
I hear Wuhan has some amazing street markets!!
But seriously, would love to try the food and see all the art in Paris :)
Beautiful route! Just feel happy when watching it
Love hanging around and discover the city
would love to know more about Penang stories
0:45 Just noticed they drive on the left side of the road. Guess that's how the British set it up back in the day?
