I saw one of their vlog about paying visa. J said one of the foreigner wanted to leave PH. The lady from the embassy said, if he leaves now, he can't return to PH due to travel restrictions.
You're in an isolated island, you can stay for a while and when things get better, you can go. You just need to find a repair shops for your laptop, cellphone and do more videos. It'll help you financially.
I understand your predicament. But just stay put first and stay safe. Palawan is a good place to be in this situation. Cost of living is relatively low. And the community, as you keep saying, is very friendly and hospitable. Keep posting your interesting videos. Your viewers will keep you guys afloat. Love your candidness and honest commentaries.
be patient and just enjoy where you are... hoping that everything will come back to normal situation , and let us keep praying that this pandemic will end now . keep safe always, and God bless.
Very sorry to say things will not return to normal this pandemic is a cover for a financial depression like we've never seen. There has never been a virus strain that has survived a summer, virus thief in cold, dark area's.So enjoy each other there and pray like your life depended on it because it does.No country HAS EVER destroyed it's own economic livelihood, caused thousands to be out of work and caused hunger and pain to it's population unless something else is coming, think please people.

Love your laid back demeanor, also love to see the places you have gone. wife and i have never been there but we need make a trip over there when travel becomes more routine. Enjoy the Philippines, stay happy and upbeat, we're all in this together.
My 82-year old grandma and I have discovered your videos since the lockdown in March. We simply love watching you since then. It's like part of our routine now when we want to relax. My grandma is even concerned about you and would even ask me questions. :D I guess you'll be a lovely part of our memory when we look back to these COVID19 days in the future. I pray that you'll also discover what the Lord has for you because He surely has a wonderful plan and purpose for you Chris and Carol. :)
Stay where you are - it’s safe, comfortable and affordable. Why would you want to leave paradise? Things are too uncertain at the moment with flying, COVID19, travel, etc. Depart for Portugal when the time is ripe. All the best to you both.
There is a British couple with 3 year old daughter they were stranded in Siargao during the lockdown and they were living in Portugal before they came to Philippines but now they decided to stay and live in Siargao (this is their YT channel Eight miles away from home). You are both always welcome to stay in our country, stay safe and healthy. GOD be with you both ✝️🙏🏼
You couple have come this far and already the Philippines has adopted you guys as our family, You are most welcome to live in the Philippines as long as you want, you can raise your family here if you wish and we are here to do whatever possibly we can to support you. Good luck couple.
You guys are in a good place right now. People are getting sick in the city because of the virus. Staying in an island is the best place to be right now
Watching all your videos convinced me to return to the Philippines after 15 years... All those memories of my long travels there between 1995 and 2005 came back... El Nido was still a quiet place in 1995... as it is today... Just love all your videos... Keep up the good work!
Travelling today is uncertained, you'll need some requirements to present to, and problems if the country you're supposed to go will accept you, WELL, l think it's worth to stay here and enjoy the nature and wait till this thing is over : anyway, you can contact your love ones and say hi! to them... 👍❤️
Hi Chris & Carol I watch your vlog everyday..pls stay put it's not safe to travel. Here in NZ citizen's who come home get sick because of their transit..we don't know what you can pick up in your travel. For now enjoy the Phils it's safer where you are. Take care - your online friend down under 😊

Im from Philippines but never been to El Nido so i am really jealous.I’ve been to other areas of Palawan but not El Nido. Here in Texas situation is really bad, increasing covid cases everyday.I think you’re better off staying there for now till you get a sure answer to the country you want to fly to..its a bit cheaper and safer.
I love this couple! They are not just the best in cooking, jumping places, but they are also smart in making decisions! I would definitely pick the same decision if i am on their shoes! Stay safe, healthy, and happy. Keep cooking and visiting nearby islands around El Nido. Keep up with the research as part of your plans and in making decisions! You are always welcome to stay in the Philippines 🇵🇭😊🤗
I am Filipino-American who lives in New Jersey. Your predicament is very understandable at this time . Please, please stay in the Philippines as long as you address your needs and comfort. I am hopeful that the local government and the people are generous enough to give you the needed assistance in times of your need.
Sounds like the CHILL plan is still in place. Your current location is still the BEST place on earth you could be. I'm glad you are still there. Appreciate the update even if nothing has changed other than the relaxed rules where you are, so enjoy for as long as you can.
The good thing about the PH is it has different islands and when the lockdown started the places with 0 cases remained 0 unless some people from manila go there and might bring the virus but as long as you guys are safe then I think you should stay in the el nido. Manila has the most number of cases so better stay there you guys are safer. Also a suggestion check how long your VISA allows you to stay because 8milesfromhome paid a lot because they stayed longer and extended their stay so maybe look into it too so you could freely stay here without worries.
Hi Chris and Carol, hang in there, all of this shall come to pass. You two are very safe here in the Philippines. I know that you can take care of yourself. Always Pray, exercise, eat healthy! I always include you two to my prayers! always be safe when you are traveling there in Palawan. Love lot's!

Now that we are facing the new normal where people all over the world are being affected by this pandemic just be strong , stand still and always be positive. Everything has an end. Just enjoy the moment because not all has given the chance to enjoy and experience the beauty of Palawan.
Schengen visa application form can be filled up electronically with requirements. Besides booking a flight, 30,000 € coverage trav insurance and proof of financial means to stay in Portugal may be ask with the negative COVID19 test. If you don't need to go anywhere, it's practical to stay in el nido. Except perhaps attending to families. =)
To tell you honestly.. better you stay here for the moment maybe until September. Just keep on making some vids.. we had funs watching your blod and life here in PH..
Portugal is on my bucket list. I regret not going 2 years ago. Travelling sounds like an impossible dream right now. Thank you for your lovely videos. I wish you all the best. Hope you get reunited with your family soon.
Yeah, I for one am glad you both have decided to stay as I thoroughly enjoy your videos, as unfortunate that is with missing you're parents. Understandable how that would make you sad. You maybe doing this already, but facebook messenger video chat is a cheap way for making international calls.

Hi guys!!! Love your videos! I`m portuguese (I live in Lisbon). Right now, only flights to and from European Union countries, countries associated with the Schengen Area (Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland) and United Kingdom are allowed. And there are still many cases of covid (Lisbon area specially). So my advice is to stay there, safe, in that beautiful paradise..see more places and wait and hope for better days. Beijinho

My wife is Brazilian on a spouse Visa in UK and we visited just my family in Germany and from there traveled to Italy. She had no issues as a Brazilian National traveling from UK to Europe.
Feeling your frustration, homesickness and anxiety. Sorry that you are in this stuation but like what you said, some regret leaving PH and getting stuck somewhere else. Im glad you're counting your blessings.🙏💟

Try to connect with a local family and you will be surprised how readily they will count you in as part of the family. I love watching you guys.
Stay in PH for another month or two. Vietnam will be opening in September, my guess Thailand will too, then from there you can fly to Europe. But it will be winter by that time.
Portugal is a nice place. I was there 3 years ago for a holiday. I love the portugese tart. Portugal specialty. Make the most of it guys. You lovely couple.

You guys are staying in a dream vacation that everybody have. To locked in so many islands. Compared to where Iam now, its just my four walls around the flat because its a congested area, we have curfews but its not safe to go out our flat our neighbors might be infected. So being in ur situation is way better. Plus, its working good also for your channel as everybody is dreaming to have summer holidays in the beach. The only downfall is missing your family but other than that, you guys are all good. Enjoy every moment. Discover more islands in Elnido or Palawan later who knows. Plus, pls make another cooking video? I miss it.
For the mean time just stay in here in the phil..until the situation back to normal for your protection..just take care and God bless to both of you guys😊😊
If you guys are looking for other places to visit in near El Nido go to Sibaltan and find Randy at Eda Beach Campsite. We went a few years ago on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The snorkeling there was the best we’ve ever done and Randy will take care of you.
Hello Chris and Carol from Arizona. Thanks for the update. You two are very lucky. Yes, stay put in your beautiful place. I have been enjoying your videos very much. Keep up your good work bringing the beauty of the Philippines to those of us in lockdown. I hope to be able to visit soon. Take care.

@@JumpingPlaces Things are quite normal here, everything here is open, except tourism sadly. I really hope the Philippines is open as well,. I would love to see you guys in Thailand. But for now, I really recommend hanging tight there. Even my US friends are getting stuck, turned around in flights. My friend just had to fly from Thailand to Japan first in order to be accepted into the US. So, it's still crazy. Please stay safe. We love watching you guys!
I hope somebody who saw your video can give you tips about traveling back to your country. But I’ll surely miss you guys if you leave. It’s different watching you in the Philippines. It makes me feel that you’re just around. For the meantime, relax, enjoy and stay safe always!

But for now, I really recommend hanging tight there. Even my US friends are getting stuck, turned around in flights. My friend just had to fly from Thailand to Japan first in order to be accepted into the US. So, it's still crazy. Please stay safe. We love watching you guys!
you are in a very safe place right now. it wont make any sense going anywhere with uncertainty
I hope somebody who saw your video can give you tips about traveling back to your country. But I’ll surely miss you guys if you leave. It’s different watching you in the Philippines. It makes me feel that you’re just around. For the meantime, relax, enjoy and stay safe always!
you are in a safe place now,I hope you consider staying longer, its a big risk trying to go home ,you might get stuck somewhere or might get the virus
Please stay safe Chris and Carol.
Everything will get better in time.
