If you could buy a trolley bag the next time you do some marketing, this would lessen much the burden when buying so much groceries. I had one myself as I used to buy 10 liter mineral water which was way too heavy for me considering my lean frame. The trolley bag was a saving grace. And one thing I observed, there are no queues in the public market and all items you need are there unlike here in our local public market in Makati where so many items are missing not to mention the long queues before you get to buy. Other than the long walk, I think it is super nice to do your groceries there.

The cashier at the market wasn't wearing one. When you're alone, it's hot, and something is that uncomfortable, it's better to claim ignorance and ask for forgiveness if hassled.
The vegetable is locally called sayote. I think its also called mirilton or vegetable pear. To avoid tearing up while cutting onions I usually have them frozen a little bit before I cut them up. Just store them in your freezer overnight. Also next time you might want to use your backpack when you go out shopping in town. Those shopping bags were not built to lug around with heavy load for long distances. 🥺

A TIp for you, from my Auntie😇, when chopping onions, burn a candle it will reduce the smell also when frying in oil and want to reduce the smell of cooking..another tip bite on a piece of bread but don't eat it , when you go shopping take with you a wheeled luggage 😉 Maybe considering renta toktok, or motorbike.good luck and yes daily vlogs is good,stay safe 👍
Dude i have a hack tips on you to avoid crying when you cutting or chopping onions. First put the onion in the freezer of your fridge before you going to use it for about 15 to 20 minutes until it cold. Second just cut the onion into half and sit or leave it for a few minutes. The reason we teared up while chopping fresh onion straight away because it release a cloud of noxious gas which is similar to sulfur gas that irritates our eyes that caused of tearing.

Do you guys "clean" your groceries and produce before bringing them inside the house? Its a tough new practice, but we have been doing so for the last several weeks. Even tossing all of your produce into the sink and doing a quick warm water rinse with a bit of soap helps, imho. Good luck out there, and stay healthy!

Find out if there are traveling markets where you can order by phone and they deliver. Sometimes they go around the neighborhood too but they have schedules as they can't hit all the areas in one go. Some islands and even Manila had those to minimize movement out of houses.

Another piece of advice: Since the market is a bit far from your place and it's summer time, you better go there early in the morning (6:00-8:00 AM) or late in the afternoon (4:00-6:00 PM) so that it won't be that hot & humid. Also don't forget to bring an umbrella and a water container so you will stay hydrated.
I love your videos, Actually your video in Brazil served as my guide when I traveled last February. It was very helpful. I loved Brazil . In this video you captured the essence of life and that is most important for someone like me who want to know the culture and venture to places which I am not familiar. In most of your videos you showed all the beautiful places and the culture of each country, the food, the people and the way of life. I carry my shopping home from the mall (about 2km) every week for the excercise and have had to do the multiple rest stop many times !!..haha!!...use at least two bags to spread the load and use a bagpack for the heavier stuff.....Keep up the good work guys...loving the videos

In most of your videos you showed all the beautiful places and the culture of each country, the food, the people and the way of life. For short period of time you guys immersed to the life of the locals, that is very authentic. Continue traveling and showing us the beautiful part of the world and their cultures.
seeing you two doing cooking together inspired a lot of couples out there, that makes your relationship last and the bonding makes more fun, by the way try adding oyster sauce on your vegies it add more flavor on the dishes.
You can carry your backpacks instead. You could fit more stuff as well.

I carry my shopping home from the mall (about 2km) every week for the excercise and have had to do the multiple rest stop many times !!..haha!!...use at least two bags to spread the load and use a bagpack for the heavier stuff.....Keep up the good work guys...loving the videos
