Am from the Philippines, I like you both, really. You are nice, polite, well mannered. No display of over excitement. You both give a good review of everything and anything. Good luck to you both in your journeys.
I am St Lucian and I live on island. This is one of the absolute best vlogs of my island that I have ever seen and I have seen a lot. Thank you for representing our island home so very well and respectful.
I just wanted to start by saying you guys make the cutest couple and also that I love watching your videos! Thank you for sharing your experiences with all of us! You’re amazing. Stay safe on your journeys!
Malgretoute Beach appears to be a bit more developed than I remember when I visited in 2018. Still looks amazing and I never got tired at looking at the Pitons, it’s a unique feeling!
I've never been to St Lucia but would like to go sometime. I loved looking at the sea life on your snorkel adventure, so many beautiful fish and creatures to see. I'm drawn to any tropical location that you choose, but the area you visited here is outstanding!
Another great video. Your presentations are so down to earth, taking the time to show simple things like that pouring rain. And there’s no hard rain showers like the Caribbean. You kids make good videos.
Usual great video and one of my favorite places in the world. Only one Olympic winner, but if I'm remembering right, they've had two Nobel Prize winners, which seems impressive for a small island.
So beautiful we have never been so beautiful. Thank you for taking us along🖤💚💛this is on my bucket list. I am going to try the bnb option that is more economical .🖤💚💛
Hiya Chris and Carol. You show the best of every country you travel to. Forever, my favorite RUclips couple. Love how the local finished you off with the black mud. You both look great. Great for your skin. What a lovely experience. Gorgeous spot for your lunch. That's how it rained in the UK, today. Very heavy. The price of the sunbeds is shocking. Always great information. Fantastic to have the beach all to yourselves. Gorgeous Botanical gardens. Never seen a caterpillar like that. It looked like it had a little tail. 😁 Diamond Waterfall is stunning. Stunning view while you soak in the bath. I hope it helped with your joint pain a little. Great underwater footage. How wonderful. Cool that it was raining too. Cute doggie. Lots of conch shells. I bought a huge one about 30 years ago and still have it. They sell for at least 30 pounds that size. The UK. On certain selling platforms, they sell them for crazy prices. A bit of useless, information, lol. Another lovely meal. With stunning views. I love they had a public holiday. Showing respect for her amazing achievement. I hope they do it every year. Thank you for sharing.
Went here about 15 years ago, we took a helicopter through the rain forest is the place we were staying right in between the two pitons. I am almost positive. It’s the place that they renovated and is even more expensive than it was back then! Going again next month and I can’t wait, one of my favorite islands in the world!
Thank you, this brought back some happy memories of the island. We always say if we had to go back to the same Caribbean island, St Lucia would be the one. We love snorkeling! Great job on the snorkeling video especially in the rain and how cool is that octopus? Btw I agree the food in Seashell Beach Restaurant was delicious.
Stunning underwater footage! And that, just from snorkeling. In addition to your regular travel videos, you could do a separate series of underwater scenes. 😉 Otherwise, enjoyed watching your St. Lucia adventure!
Hi Carol and Chris, thanks for your video. I only 'found' you only relatively recently but love how you are just being your polite and respectful selves and without fake and overdone enthusiasm. Keep going like that please!
Anse chastinet was my favorite beach. Would love to stay at that resort. Looks amazing. The road there was pretty dangerous actually. lol great snorkling to the left. We loved the restaurant also great views, can’t beat it. You also went to the other beach next to that one but we didn’t have time to get to it. 😊great video
$300 + per day is n😅t sustainable for most. And that doesn’t include airfare, visa fees ($125 for 3-day visit), health insurance, petrol, clothing, electronics, etc. Nice job on keeping it going.
Cheers, it isn’t 300 a day though. Our accommodation and car add up to around 100 dollars. We are not spending 200 dollars on other things during the day. There is also no 125 dollar visa fee. You also mentioned in our Barbados video that we were spending 400 dollars a day which was way more than we were spending
Love your videos. Great video clarity & quality content. And the chemistry between you two really helps me to enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work. 👍 😊
I have been in St. Lucia for 4 days and it is lovely I went to the mud bath and it made my skin feel smooth and hydrated. I recommend going on Israel kings boat tour, they were so nice and the service was amazing. They showed us half of the island and they showed us some snorkeling sites. They explained everything to history and celebrities houses. We are staying at the Coco Palm Resort, it was in a very good walkable location. The venders on the beach can be pushy. One thing I’ve learned is teach your kids to not be handed what they are selling, I have been tricked into this before. It does rain pretty often but it feels good in the hot weather. (when it rains look for rainbows). Restaurants are good but I do not recommend getting a burger here the meat is not that good in my opinion. North of the island is really pretty (where we’re staying in Rodney bay). On every Friday there is a street party with all the locals and tourists. The street party can get a little crazy. If your with kids it is nice to go 7-9. My kids really like getting dog food to feed the strays. Tì banana is the restaurant at the Coco palm and it is delicious. Right by the Rodney bay police station is a beautiful beach, the inflatable water park is great for children, I went with my kids and it was super fun even for me. Tubing is also fun on the same beach. I haven’t hiked up the big mountain they were talking about yet. The Olympic Nobel prizes blew my mind. St Lucia is the perfect beautiful vacation. I’ve loved it so far.❤🇱🇨
Happy that you’ll enjoyed my beautiful Island.. Hoping that you come back and visit more places especially in the North of the island .. There’s usually street party every Friday night in Gros Islet where you get to really enjoy yourself ❤ I live where you vacation 🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨
Nice pics of some octopi. I made an octopus friend in Puerto Rico many moons ago. And thus, I do not eat them. I wouldn't anymore eat an octopus than a dog or a cat. People don't get it of course.
Great presentation of a part of St. Lucia. Believe me, there is a lot more too. Just as an aside, the Soufriere Bay is actually the caldera of the volcano. Roger
Great video thanks for visiting and showing our island Watching from Ottawa Canada 🇨🇦 Thank you for visiting My beautiful home island My village is Laborie We now have 1 gold medal 🥇 100 meter 1 silver medal 🥈 200 meter (Julien Alfred ) We also have 2 Nobel prizes SIR William Arthur Lewis (January 23, 1915 - June 15, 1991) who won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 1979; and Sir Derek Walcott who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1992
I visited St Lucia in August 2024, I've eyeing to go since 2014 for honeymoon. We went to French Polynesia for honey moon 10 years ago. Carol was right, it's kinda similar to Moorea, Bora Bora in a way. Its so lush and the nature is so beautiful. The only thing is that sea in St Lucia is more calm, versus Pacific is crazy if you don't face the lagoon. St Lucia is so tranquil and lush with some heavy history. I also recommend Anse Chastnet Resort, the dive shop is amazing.
Been to St. Lucia. Beautiful Island. Have you guys been to the Bahamas? The slogan is..."It's better in the Bahamas" The Bahamas has 700 Islands. When are you guys going back to the Philippines? Been there and done it lol. I entered that 45 degrees sulphur spring bath and spent 1hour straight in there without coming out. I drank plenty of fresh coconut water before I entered for hydration. Spending that amount of time in there make one dehydrate, so one has to be well hydrated. I did one in New Zealand Rotorua, at The Sport of Kings hotel and spent 1hr 15min straight in their hot thermal volcanic bath. It is very important not to drink the sulphur bath water. It cam make you very ill.
I was under the impression St Lucia was very expensive, thank you for sharing it can be done on a smaller budget. Enjoyed all the nature facts on this one.
Been a big fan of your guys' videos for a while now. Me and my partner seem to travel slightly afterward wherever the two of you go. I have a quick question - is there a cheaper way to fly from Caribbean island to island?
Great vid. Did you find there were a lot of bugs? Often in locations amongst nature i find it is hard to keep the bugs out and you cant leave any food in the hotel room.. ? thanks
Had a chuckle when you mentioned "Malgretoute" beach, which literally means "despite everything". I guess in this case it means despite the rain, it's still a nice beach after all 🙂

Agree. They are not rude or disrespectful to a country.
They are the best!
All their vlogs are TV documentary standard, and in many cases, even better ( like this one! 👍👍
The sheer joy on that Olympians face when she won gold was so cool, thanks for telling us about that. And that octopus made my day. Great job guys!
The octopus was a highlight for us, never seen that before and seeing it changing color so quickly was unbelievable
@@JumpingPlaces yeah they are amazing animals. If you've never seen the documentary " my octopus teacher" it is definitely worth the watch.
we watched that a while ago, it was amazing :D
Chris, thank you for showing all the flowers ❤
Such a gorgeous island, the nature is absolutely stunning. Loved the snorkelling in the rain!
Truly wonderful island, such a nice variety of things to see and do also 😊

Malgretoute Beach appears to be a bit more developed than I remember when I visited in 2018. Still looks amazing and I never got tired at looking at the Pitons, it’s a unique feeling!
could be, it's just that one resort at the end. Not sure if that was there in 2018.

Hello from Sweden 🇸🇪
I was under the impression St Lucia was very expensive, thank you for sharing it can be done on a smaller budget. Enjoyed all the nature facts on this one.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love your videos!
Was wondering what camera you use to take your underwater videos/pics?!
its a gopro hero 11, same camera we use when we are talking also and walking around
5:28 this is an AMAZING look for you guys 🔥👏
Thanks :D Looking forward to your Jamaica vid!
You guys are going to cost my wife and I a small fortune. We have the beach travel bug from watching all your videos, lol.
The island does look lovely with lush vegetation but l am surprised how small the beaches are here.
That is just in this volcanic region, in the north there are longer beaches, also whiter sand and more turqoise water up there
Been a big fan of your guys' videos for a while now. Me and my partner seem to travel slightly afterward wherever the two of you go. I have a quick question - is there a cheaper way to fly from Caribbean island to island?

Sorry Carol
So tropical looking
Chris& Carol, the water doesn’t look turquoise here
Where do you reckon has more beautiful beaches.. St Lucia or the Samana Peninsula in the DR? In a few months time i am off to the Seychelle Islands in the indian ocean and those islands are supposed to have some of the best beaches in the world.
You should check out the beaches in the Philippines. 'it's more fun in the Philippines"
for sand and color of water samana is probably better as it is more the caribbean style beaches that people imagine. But St lucia has more visually striking scenery when you are on the beaches because of the volcanic landscapes
Hi! Do you happen to know the name of that fancy resort that was right near the Pitons? Thanks!
