You two are GREAT. I have enjoyed your adventures for years. And the best is when your in the Bahamas and Mexico you go to places I have been and the memories are great. Just like now. You have got to visit Trunk Bay on St John. Best of the best as far as beaches go. Has an underwater snorkeling trail. It is awesome.

I sm always happy when you go to the Caribbean because you do things and show us lots of scenery. Trevor and Anna just talk to the camera for 90 percent of their videos.
A little disappointed for me. This was the first video where I missed an appreciation for the entire package of life in an area. We didn't get to see the locals sell the coconut rum to you and the grocery store trip got skipped. As such I didn't get the full vibe of the place like we do with all the other videos. 😢

My wife (Brazilian) and I just spent several days in Caldos Novas and had a wonderful time and we have been to visited many of the places that you guys have. If you ever decide to make some more videos in the US (where we live most of the year) and want some help with guidance around Tennessee, we would love to help out. Very nice video and I am glad I got to see it. Certainly a great place if you go for beaches. By the way, Crocodile Dundee was a movie made in Australia, with main character Paul Hogan. It is very funny, typical Aussie humor and it shows a bit of the outback. They also made a sequel, but only the first one is worth watching. I think both of you would love it.

I have to say, the best part of your BVI travels so far appears to be the very low number of people. Makes for a more private feel to some pretty nice places, and hopefully makes the prices seem more worthwhile.
Yes genuinely surprised how empty it has been, we also got lucky that we had some days with no cruises arriving e.t.c. In the next videos in the US virgin islands you will see that it is a completely different scene

Loved staying at the Tamarind Inn on St. John and hiking to the beaches in the National Park is magical!

I just did a jeep tour there and alot of them roads are being developed. Smugglers cove was the beach we stopped at during the 4hr jeeping we did. I was there from the norwegian encore 7day cruise. I actually chilled down there by the rocks and had the bob marley drink. Awesome place.
"Yost" van Dyke or locals and regulars will scoff. ; ) The Soggy Dollar is a quite famous bar as it is the home of the Painkiller and always voted the #1 beach bar in the BVI, that is why the ferry costs more. Smugglers is where Old Man in The Sea was filmed. You were sitting right in front of the ruins of the old "hotel".

You said that you thought the P & O cruise was cheap at £2600 per person for 14 nights, flying from UK.(total £5200).
I think that is expensive. My wife and I did a P &O cruise flying from UK last February. It cost us £1600 each or total £3200.
This year we have a cruise booked, flying from UK and staying in a Balcony cabin, for £2000 each or total of £4000.
That includes food. Extra to pay for alcoholic drinks and excursions.
It is far cheaper if the cruise does not go to USA or US islands, as the US is expensive.

Nutmeg is a seed. Most people with nut allergies are not affected by nutmeg unless you are also allergic to seeds as well.

The BVI's definitely interest me. I might put it on the itinerary for 2025. In comparison to the USVI's, it definitely looks more appealing and a place I can see myself enjoying.
This is so funny. I was actually ON the Arvia last March. We're not normally Cruise people, but P&O had some amazing bargains for their Arvia cruises of the Caribbean, and I just couldn't resist. It was actually a lot cheaper than the price you googled...we paid £900 British Pound per person for an inside cabin ( which we only used for sleeping). That was for flights to and from London to Barbados, and then cruising between there and Tortola, Dominican Republic, St Maarten, St Kitts, Antigua, Martinique and my favourite, St Lucia! I really enjoyed the cruise and the islands really are stunning. Wish I was back there instead of freeeeezing England! Enjoy the rest of your stay in the Caribbean, guys, and I can't wait to see where you're Jumping to next😆

@@JumpingPlaces I loved St Lucia, liked Antigua second - best, and all the other ones were interesting. We didn't choose the ship excursions but went with local guides instead( a lot cheaper that way!!) The guides in Antigua and Martinique were particularly brilliant. In St Maarten, we just HAD to check out that scary Airport beach, which was, shall we say, a unique experience 🙉🤣

BVI seems like one of the most expensive places you've visited. Can't believe they charged you $40 per person for that boat ride.

I can’t say we were thrilled with St Thomas, we were on a cruise and it was crazy crowded. We’ve since realized we hate cruises.

Yeah for us St Thomas is the worst of all the virgin islands for the same reasons, we will be showing that soon in our videos.
It's good for picking up duty free. Cigarettes and booze especially, sometimes good jewellery and prestige watches. In the 80's there was a store selling fur coats, minx etc to overseas tourists, due to savings in tax.
I don't see the appeal of cruises. I always hate being somewhere in the tropics when a cruise ship pulls in to harbour. The whole vibe of the place is ruined.
@@JumpingPlaces why because st thomas is developed and have more modern amenities. What kill me with people is that they go to these places and want some type of primitive living while they go back to their homes and enjoy all the modern comforts. They want the people in the islands to live in huts and ride donkeys with no advancements.

We didn't but the owner of the place we stayed has a surfing school and he actually has some sort of surfing tournament while we were there

I believe another reason there aren't that many tourists as the economy (speaking as an American) is really bad. One site said it is worse than the Great Depression from 1930s. People are staying home and not purchasing much. Automobile sales are really low as an indicator. The value of the US dollar has gone way down also.
Could be a bit of that but in the next videos we will show the US virgin islands are packed with tourists. I think in this case north americans just visit the US virgin islands more over the british ones.
@qthemusiq44641. You should travel and see for yourself how crowded (especially the most popular tourist destinations) have been. There no longer a slow season.I have been traveling for the past 25 years and have visited 100 countiries. I noticed a significant influx in tourism especially after COVID. I can also tell you that the US dollar is quite strong everywhere I have gone with the exception of the Caribbean islands. The Caribbean Islands have always been more expensive, even with American standards.
