We Tripled This Site's Revenue in 4 Hours

- Is it possible to completely revamp an underperforming niche site in 4 hours? We challenged ourselves to do it for a site we don't own, and tasked our team to overhaul the most important aspects of the site as quickly as possible.
We chose Red's site as a winner of a recent Instagram contest. Jim, Ricky, Nate, and Nathan each took an aspect of the site to revamp: from affiliate links, recommended gear, site speed, sales page, and more. How do you think it turned out? Watch to find out!

Everybody else is a fake. There is, in this order, Income School, AuthorityHacker, and Ahrefs. The others are garbage even if they make thousands of dollars with whatever blueprints they have. It takes knowledge to be simple. It takes simplicity to convince.

Honestly I think the most important advice here is the increase in price of the ebook from a low cost to the $13.99 price. Once you get use to the dirt cheap prices on Amazon it's hard to get into a mindset that you can charge more than 99 cents for a book. Good to see you still can charge a higher price.
if they increased the price without doing the other things it probably wouldn't have made a huge difference.. so I do think it is good to know you can charge more, as you point out, but I don't think it would have increased sales without the other changes like the countdown and the reformatting and the focus... just mho though ..cheers
Please do more videos on how to increase traffic. Getting the traffic is the hard part.

That sales page looks much better now than before. My only critique is I hate it when people use a useless countdown timer for pressuring sales. I get the scarcity but I think people see right through that.

Great video! I'm in the same boat as Red with my site, although not as much traffic. I'll be watching this video multiple times to put together an action list to overhaul my site.
Even better beginning from the bottom with those same super strategies...I bet Red would be $4K+/month by the time the website got dissected. Im doing $500 per month with around 12k page view. If Im doing 40k page view I should be making around $3,000 based on historical numbers what Ive made in the past. I think other people should be making more as well with higher page views.

Now I have lots of ideas and categories that I know will work with this as a foundation for strong monetization.
I already knew about cross-linking articles and had used that successfully (many) years ago when I had a small but popular website.

Ah I feel like a failure now! My website gets great traffic, much more than 40K a month and I ONLY make money from ads which is great and it pays the bills but I think I might be leaving some money on the table with no affiliate marketing or a simple product on the site... 😬 Oops. Better get working

I have been aware & researching online platforms on & off for years after coming back from adversity in 2004. But being an incredible busy Keyworker, many hours for little reward decided that the current situation with Covid19/Lockdown was time for me to take action. I've taken a couple week's off work & spent this evening watching many 'IS' videos whilst making a list of everything I've purchased or plugged into eg; wordpress, bluehost, acabado etc. Now to push through the fear factor & create! Thankyou so much. xXx
That 100 something list is great tho, link it on top as an "advanced list" with links embedded or below or in a table with very little spaccing (can still get the snippet) and the visitor will have to do very little scrolling.
We need more of these!!!! And not only in the US! If that's the problem,, you don't have to come here to work on our website!! Just a review, some tweaks and some tips would be amazing!!! I am really happy I have found you guys! Do more videos!!! Keep it up!!!!!!!!! why not install SSL certificate properly? it's like the first thing to do with this site. Right now it doesn't set up correctly.
From my experience it's better to buy an ssl certificate directly from your webhost.
The free manually installed let's encrypt has many problems.

Again, dude big lists are not wrong, just gives an opportunity to do the top 3-5 and end with a "if you didn't like any of these, here is our complete top 17 best something something" or something along the lines. Double the content, double the value more opportunities everywhere.

How long should an ebook be?
Extremely good job done by you guys... i have a question though... in terms of program offering you guys are “The Most” Authentic coaches who do not promise overnight results and say upfront that results will take 24 months... yet i am tracking Passive Income Phil as well as your videos.. why are only a handful students able to actually make a decent income? I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but not sure where else to ask
I think it is great that you were able to take Red's website from over $400 to over $1600 a month. What I find disappointing is he has something like 167 articles and his website is 3 years old. I'd like to hear why his earnings are so low.
Most are like that tbh. My first site had 90 articles and only makes between 100-300$. Doing this is a very fun hobby, but I would never recommend it to someone as your primary source of income. Especially since all it takes is a google update and your site can crash. Still a fun hobby though!
My first question was why he only has 40,000 uniques to the site per month with over 100 articles. I was hoping for some analysis on mistakes that might have been made with writing the actual articles.

PHP Coder USA insanely unrealistic tbh. I’d say only a small fraction of a percent would get there. Have you looked at any groups of people who do this? Example /juststart on reddit. Almost no one is getting even a thousand on there and they’re putting in a TON of effort

Great job you guys! Shows some great information on monetization! Not to be a "debbie-downer," but we really need to develop websites that perform in the 80's and 90's in page speed. Especially with the new Google Vital Insights that will be rolling out very soon. Website speed is critical and will continue to grow in importance. If your CMS, theme or plugin sets are causing sluggish website speed, you need to speed more energy in trimming off the fat and merging scripts to work double or triple duty. However, great job on the monetary increase!!
