December was first 1,000+ view month. These guys know how it’s done. Content, content, content.
I was only publishing content on facebook but just switched to my website at the end of November 2019. I'm getting 100,000 plus views a month with January set to be over 100k views. I actually just had one day where it hit 27,000 views from one article that google picked up on the AMP thingy. I have no idea how to make money with this. I started worldads on worldpress starting December 3rd but I haven't seen what that will get me yet. I applied for Mediavine and heard back that they want me to write in a certain way for my top ten posts but I'm confused about it. If there's anyway to discuss this with you two that would be really helpful as you seem like the only legit people on youtube about this stuff.

@@TheKEEEEEeK my site is only 5.5 months old - it's a baby. Project 24 means it takes 24 months to get to a full-time income. I'm ahead of projections - $5 is by no means this site's full potential. It's just where I'm at now while I'm still building it up. This month is on pace to outperform last by a good sized margin. Project 24 isn't fast - but it works.
Great video Jim and Ricky! I needed this bit of motivation. I started Project 24 about a month ago and published my 14th article this morning. I blew through the response posts pretty quickly, but these longer posts are dragging out a bit. I'm also juggling my RUclips content at the same time as I have an established channel that I've been neglecting somewhat as I'm writing articles. I just got this wonderful new book: "Work Energy". Highly recommend. Very interesting and practical approach to how to make things happen in your life. Unlike other teachings, this book promotes the path of actually doing what you were meant to do. I like to study people as well but never came across this angle of interpretation of why we do what we do. Everything seems right and accurate, in my opinion. I think this book will help a lot of people to find out who they really are and what to do about it. Great job, Jim. =)

I love the info you two put out. Very informative, thank you. I would never be able to write a blog post in a lunch hour. Not one with any value to it (credibility, stats, information, research done). I know I am not alone in this. The posts i write for my current sites take days to write and even when it's time to get it ready to publish it takes time to include all the proper links etc. Am I missing something in your info/tactic to writing a blog post? In Project 24 they teach how to write a 1300 word response post in just over an hour. I wrote my first 10 response posts in about 2 hours each on average. Longer more detailed posts are taking me much longer as there is a lot more research to do. I published a 3500 word pillar post this morning that took me over a week to write. I am really pleased with their course because I am not a writer and was not confident I would be able to do it.
I think this is one of the main blocking points for more people. To realistically create a well researched and well written 3000-4000 word article it will take almost a day for each article. So 50 articles in 90 days is just not realistic for most people. Tough even if you are doing it full time. I'm sure it will get faster over time but not in a lunch break or an hour after work.
@@SwimBikeRunFastest I found that using Google Docs to write and then copy/pasting into Wordpress gives me very little formatting work apart from tables. It might work out better! For the 1 hour part, they didn't specifically say "write an entire post during your lunch break", as nothing is holding you back from researching, writing a paragraph, preformatting your posts or doing keyword research ;)

Hello Jim/Ricky, I have a basic doubt that no one was able to clear thoroughly. Can you please share the difference between a page and post. In which scenario, we should write our content in a page instead of post. As of I now, I have in my mind that content with more words lets say 4000 words should be in page which adds value. And normal contents 1500-2000 can be written in post. This will clarify many blogger's doubts. As usual, you are doing a great job and keep it up. (Y)
For anyone out there doubting them, it's totally possible to earn more than 1k/mo with even less than 10k subscribers. You've just got to be smart about it. IE: target the right niche that will earn decent adsense or target good affiliate programs/products that your viewers will love.

I spend a long time trying to write and structure my about page, let alone a blog post. I have no idea how you write anything meaningful in an hour; I mean, whatever I write either requires research or hands on exploration. your point around 5min55 secounds in the video is spot on. i do a little consulting and alot of blogging. and you wouldent believe how many people get hung up on logos, colors of the buttons, how the tabs are arranged. and in some case get all worked up about proper words and sentencing. and im like just look - you need to just get some content up and run traffic to it and see how it preforms. i have some sucess selling clickfunnels as an affiliate, and its funny because the ulgier and simpler the landing page is the better it converts. its quite strange. business owners are shocked when i show them stats. I try to express its about the targeting and traffic sourcess that count. i do alot of blogging and seo but my sucess came from email marketing after capturing leads how ever i affiliate with webdesign tools like clickfunnels so this niche is very different from others on purchasing behaviors .. cheers.. great video guys. big fan of the channle..

Good stuff! But how do you pick a niche when you don't have any hobbies? I try to workout regularly but I don't look like a fitness model and I don't think have any special insight about how to get fit. Plus that niche seems supersaturated from every angle. I think about stuff like travel or survival but I don't have much experience with either of those (but they both seem interesting to me) I like working with computers and think I could do some basic software tutorials, but again, seems like there are a lot of those out there already and I don't really have a special angle, and I'm not sure how I would monitize that anyway beyond Amazon links to products.
Although Jim & Ricky are hobby guys, you really don't need a website about hobbies to make the Project 24 method work. Think about other aspects of your life where you've been looking for an answer to a problem which you couldn't find a decent answer to. For example, when my wife and I got married in Hong Kong, there really wasn't a lot of accurate information from official channels, a lot of it was user-generated content, so this is a niche which I could exploit because I've been through the process. It's certainly not a hobby and there must be others searching for the same information. Personally, I would steer clear of anything YMYL such as fitness, especially for my first website and rather think outside the box a little. Spend a week or so writing down everything you do, think about, search or hear about on social media. Then go through the list and do some search analysis on the niches, then ask yourself if you could be interested in writing about that niche for the next 1-10 years! I'm sure you'll find something you can be passionate about. If you are interested I have a video on my channel about choosing niches when you aren't really an expert on anything and don't feel motivated to write about the heavily saturated but popular niches out there.

Hello Jim/Ricky, I have a basic doubt that no one was able to clear thoroughly. Can you please share the difference between a page and post. In which scenario, we should write our content in a page instead of post. As of I now, I have in my mind that content with more words lets say 4000 words should be in page which adds value. And normal contents 1500-2000 can be written in post. This will clarify many blogger's doubts. As usual, you are doing a great job and keep it up. (Y)

For anyone out there doubting them, it's totally possible to earn more than 1k/mo with even less than 10k subscribers. You've just got to be smart about it. IE: target the right niche that will earn decent adsense or target good affiliate programs/products that your viewers will love.

I spend a long time trying to write and structure my about page, let alone a blog post. I have no idea how you write anything meaningful in an hour; I mean, whatever I write either requires research or hands on exploration. Maybe instead of typing a comment here, I should be finishing my about page. I have seen that video about writing in an hour, looks like I need to go through it again. Thanks for the video.

your point around 5min55 secounds in the video is spot on. i do a little consulting and alot of blogging. and you wouldent believe how many people get hung up on logos, colors of the buttons, how the tabs are arranged. and in some case get all worked up about proper words and sentencing. and im like just look - you need to just get some content up and run traffic to it and see how it preforms. i have some sucess selling clickfunnels as an affiliate, and its funny because the ulgier and simpler the landing page is the better it converts. its quite strange. business owners are shocked when i show them stats. I try to express its about the targeting and traffic sourcess that count. i do alot of blogging and seo but my sucess came from email marketing after capturing leads how ever i affiliate with webdesign tools like clickfunnels so this niche is very different from others on purchasing behaviors .. cheers.. great video guys. big fan of the channle..

Great video. Thanks for the refresher and encouragement for the new year. I write a pretty thorough blog and can not do that in an hour but I have definitely found some ways to streamline and write faster and am publishing more. Do you count refurbishing older posts as "publishing"?.

Good stuff! But how do you pick a niche when you don't have any hobbies?
I try to workout regularly but I don't look like a fitness model and I don't think have any special insight about how to get fit. Plus that niche seems supersaturated from every angle. I think about stuff like travel or survival but I don't have much experience with either of those (but they both seem interesting to me)
I like working with computers and think I could do some basic software tutorials, but again, seems like there are a lot of those out there already and I don't really have a special angle, and I'm not sure how I would monitize that anyway beyond Amazon links to products.
Although Jim & Ricky are hobby guys, you really don't need a website about hobbies to make the Project 24 method work. Think about other aspects of your life where you've been looking for an answer to a problem which you couldn't find a decent answer to.
For example, when my wife and I got married in Hong Kong, there really wasn't a lot of accurate information from official channels, a lot of it was user-generated content, so this is a niche which I could exploit because I've been through the process. It's certainly not a hobby and there must be others searching for the same information.
Personally, I would steer clear of anything YMYL such as fitness, especially for my first website and rather think outside the box a little. Spend a week or so writing down everything you do, think about, search or hear about on social media. Then go through the list and do some search analysis on the niches, then ask yourself if you could be interested in writing about that niche for the next 1-10 years! I'm sure you'll find something you can be passionate about.
If you are interested I have a video on my channel about choosing niches when you aren't really an expert on anything and don't feel motivated to write about the heavily saturated but popular niches out there.

It’s highest here in Canada. What are your opinions on starting a site like that, where it isn’t product focussed but zeros in on help.
