Always create site on localhost and add at least 10 articles and then buy domain, register usernames, etc. This way you will know if you are REALLY interested in something or just kind of interested. People usually research for unique name that they will give to their upcoming site, unique domain, social pages and what not. That process fails 99% of the time. Your "good feeling" about starting something great fades away and you end up losing money.
They advise against anything in YMYL - your money or your life. In other words don't blog about finance unless you have the credits, health issues unless you are medical.
What I love about you guys is that you're willing to take on board the nuances of what is, let's be honest here, a small segment of your audience. Yes, in the UK and Australia we have slightly different words or pronunciations (let's not even go to the use of 'fanny'!!) but the HUGE chunk of your audience is the US of A. We do feel loved when you acknowledge the difference, but as far as I'm concerned you're more than welcome to stay true to your own words and pronunciations - we know what you mean when you say 'fanny pack' ;)
Dudes, you confused me. I thought I really got my days messed up. Usually you release videos on Mondays, so when I saw this new video, I thought it was Monday, and I somehow missed the weekend!
My problem has always been... there are way too many cool niches to choose from! I wish I had more hours in a day and more team writers to get to all of the niches I can cover and that I am well versed in.
Hi Income School. Great video. Thank you. And I love the energy between two hosts. Very nice. You can see you guys are friends. Best of luck to everyone who is starting an online business. I have been building my online business for over 10 years now, and along the way started a couple of other profitable businesses as well. So I went through the process of building an online business multiple times and know how hard it is at the beginning. Especially if it is your very first online business. Good luck to everyone. You can do it! Its a lot of work but the reward is also huge.
I appreciate you so much. I have been following you on and off for years and the this is the second video that I'm watching today in a while from this channel and STILL every single video you put out is beneficial. Thank you! I am and have been stuck on what to do online for so long that I havent got anything done at all. SOS.
15:02 - good addendum on EAT. Starting to get a little discouraging hearing how much of an expert you need to be. This little end tag helps to alleviate that.
Great job! I've used Trend in the past, but didn't call to mind all the helpful points. Especially liked subscribing to new trends for the keyword. Thank you!
The google trends deeper dive was really interesting - I was being superficial... my feedback was being superficial too... who wold have thought! Thx F&R!
Problem with Google Trends I find, is mostly when you are not using English or the US for language/location. The data available here in Denmark is extremely limited for most trends so it's not really usable. But good video none the less!
As always, very good information from you guys. Question: how much time do you spend on creating a quality article? And what are the steps? You have a lot of niche sites and it's obvious that you don't know everything about those niches to write such great articles, but you do write them.
i just signed up for your newsletter using my ACTUAL email instead of my spam email... I NEVER do that lol. Just wanted you to know the level of trust you establish (in the off chance you don't already know)
This video was great! You guys seem genuine and have a great personality... I really appreciate all of the information and especially the advice at the end. You spoke directly to me about getting started and not feeling like you have to be an expert when you start. I feel like I am pretty knowledgeable in my niche, but I always worry that people will want to question what makes me the expert. Thank you for this.
Is there any preference to search with the "search term" or "topic?" I noticed that If I type in something like hiking, the curves may be similar but the average volume is different.
I love Google trends! Do you guys know of a particular search term that has minimum viable traffic that all other niches can be compared against? So it can be easy to gauge if a niche has sufficient traffic?
I did that for my niche, but I doubt that I have the right terms / keyword since there were more searches from South Africa than the US. How do I find the right terms? (No, I didn't look online for this when I initially wanted to learn about the topic.)
New sub, great content! i have a question, i have an idea for my niche, but im not sure how to analysis the competitors - i know there are a few that are pretty authoritative with high DA and PA but at the same time ive found some buyers style keywords that i feel i can compete in - do you stay away from niches when there are quite a few authoritative sites already out there? how do you determine the competition? thanks
sir, I am trying to select a particular niche. when I type in google on a particular niche basis. Google shows all top ten high domain authority websites in the United States. when I am decided to change in long-tail keyword its shows also a high domain authority site.but keyword difficulty low. I mean to say that when I am going to search at a low competitive basis keyword. its shows high domain top ten websites. but keyword difficulty ar very low. so at this moment how I can choose my niche, sir?
Amazing run-down. I had no idea that trends had those functions, so thank you for this. I already have my niche and am just saving up for your program, hopefully in the new year. I aspire to be in a similar situation to you guys!
No secret. A lot of their niche site selection is from personal hobbies and low competition niches with high search volume and that serve a pain point or problem.
Quick question; please answer if you may...i have my website running partly thanks to you guys for about 3 months now...almost all my articles are online...not exactly ranking yet but the changes i make to the post title and appearance aren't showing on google...o even changed seo plugins for this and its still not showing...solution guys?
We find that Google rarely uses the descriptions that people select. They use the most relevant content from the post, in most cases. So you’re not doing anything wrong.
Hi Guys, Last year I started a blog which failed miserably. I sill have a google adsense account with content. Can you suggest me how can I utilize it? Is it possible to earn from Adsense by any other ways apart from having a website as I am not sure which niche I should be working on.
I love how you guys support the people like me starting out. You’re great teachers and coach us every step! Thank you
2 videos a week? This is AWESOME! Like this comment, if you think they should keep this trend!

@@vishalsinghbaghel Yeah, so I've heard, but funny enough I am a black Jamaican. It is a very popular Jamaican name too.

The niche selection held me back for 10 years. Godaddy made lots of money off me because of all the sites I bought and abandoned.
Lol, I have done the same. I thought it was just me.
This is what I'm afraid of doing.

I think you should also make a list of niche sites TO AVOID. Most people got some new niche ideas but didn't know that they're heading for disaster

I have three sites already but thinking about another niche.... thanks for the video. Will help with my next project.
Proving out a niche is one thing, coming up with a niche concept/idea is something else.
Hey, you are two great guys, such a pleasure to listen to you!

Paradigm shift, lol. I don't know why, but I found that funny. Great video guys. I actually used Trends to expand my niche out, awesome tool.
My problem has always been... there are way too many cool niches to choose from! I wish I had more hours in a day and more team writers to get to all of the niches I can cover and that I am well versed in.
Never put a lot of work into this. This helped me figure out that just adding ing to the end of a term can be helpful or detrimental in a big way.

I learned a ton just from this video. Glad I joined the 'School."
I think understanding exactly how the niche can be monetized is extremely important
Aren’t ads always the answer?
My niche is crazy competitive. But I decided to go for it since it's also something I am passionate about and have a lot of knowledge about it.
