Thanks for watching glad i could spread some knowledge keep eye out for more in content in the future.
Hey Jeff very well done, I've done a lot of purge welding but not sanitary tubing, so it was good to see.
Thank you just trying to spread skme knowledge thank you for view and feedback
This was an excellent presentation & demonstration. Well done Jeff, you nailed it. It was also good to show a fixed position pipe weld - it's more like you'd get in the field. Only one (not complaint) suggestion - to get a good look at the puddle control and joining in the welds. Jason, get this young fella back please. Stay safe and well :)
Thank you and will take into consideration we will try and capture all your requests because it matter if thats what you like to see we will gladly put more effort into capturing that thank you for watching

Muito didático. É a técnica que uso parabéns. No Brasil não existe esta fita transparente. Uso fita para pintura de automóvel, infelizmente.
Thanks for the tutorial and tips, I wonder how to back purge weld on the very long pipes?
i paused the video to search the name on buddys hat that's some serious automotive performance
Thank you for looking more into Heffner. Jason has been and innovator in the industry and are very pleased to have worked for him for past number of years now together.
When you noche a hole in pipe as a high point do you just weld over it with filler or do you fuse it the same way you’re welding the root? A little confused as to how you close that gap up when you file it down @jeffray
Can you make a video on welding Carbon Steel plates together using a Nickel-Copper Monel 9N10 stick electrode?
Hey Jeff excellent video keep up the good work
Hey quick question, just wondering why you use the welder setup as stick, lift arc? Why dont guys use fingers switches and why cant HF start be used?
Great vid/presentation thanks!
I like to place my ground where I can. snatch it off when stopping . That way I can keep the torch on the weld for a few seconds to prevent discoloring and prevent fish 👀
good idea
Awesome stuff Jeff!
Thanks for watching man much appreciated
Dude is a welder & not a dauber for sure! Cool stuff
Gr8 job Jeff. I question from my side 🤔 how is the taking done? with or without purging?
Thank you and to answer your question better can you rephrase your question
@@SuperformanceFab the tacks to keep the pipe in position, do you need to purge beforehand and during
Soooo skilled...... I need to weld some tri fittings into a Keg....For electric heater ...what would l use for a back purge cover??.
Kind regards Precision Panel Craft UK.
Why aren't you using rubber expansion purge plugs? No grated pads or in line purge cups?
This i feel is best suitable for my needs and it works very well im not apposed to using other methods this is what i have. thanks for watching stay tuned for more and thank you for feed back
HI,
very interesting video... but could you share links and references where to find the parts you are using on the video like the
triclamp style purge plug,
purge plug,
I-lines
Teflon gasket
as well as the fitting for argon line, quick connect
probably a good idea to put that in the description
@Jeff Rays
we have all downloadable and link resources in the weld app :)
How's the stainless pipe already connect before you start welding?
By connected do you mean the ferrule tacked to the piece of tubing
@@SuperformanceFab yeah both tubes already together? Even if it is tacked and I went at carrying out that run it would warp
@@modsskinssoulies2655 so I what exactly are you asking if you could try and word it a little diffenent
This was really great and I learned a lot. I'd like to see more of Jeff's work. That said, where's the Ginger Jarhead?? C'mon, Becker!! Enough slacking, man! Get back to work on this channel!

What was the wall thickness of this pipe ?
Did I miss it or did he say tungsten and cup size, lens or conventional?
What about trying solar flux, not all of us can afford this set up!
Ive been certified to do solar flux as well it can be very temperamental to use but thats only to be used in a bind if need be or instructed usually thank you for watching stay tuned for more
Hey good vid. I have a question. I am a newb at welding. I have about $400 to get me a welder to learn with. Could you point me in a direction. thank you for your time.
Where's Bob please
bob had some health issues and has had neither the time or energy to make videos. he is recovering and when up to it will begin posting at lets weld something. that being said, this video was clear and the guy communicated well and was obviously proficient
@@peetky8645 oh no hope he is all well.
@@peetky8645 Bob is doing well! He will have his new channel up and running in no time and he has plenty of energy and time for videos. He's also excited to be coming back to Weld.com as a guest host and he will be making some videos with us as well.
Hai master....kenapa subtitel video anda harus di stel inggris otomastis...saya akan sangat menghargai bila untuk semua bahasa...karena saya ingin belajar dari anda🙏🙏
Im an inspecor working on a SS project for the US Government....your cap sucks! too much heat!!! root is ok
hey men i am a delta force welder we are the best of the best just want to let you know cute weld that iron chain you wrapped around that cute pipe will contaminate the stainless steel pipe
And that's bad for a demonstration video why? It's not like it's going anywhere except the recycling bin.
@@jaredrowendolas8757 delta force welders do it the correct way human error is for average welders thats why we are called delta force welders our training is well planned before we execute any welds
@@mohammedtroy4296 you double spaced a couple of words there mo.....return to boot camp
