This is one of the few local bands I had the pleasure of seeing live in the small clubs and bars in the 80s whose albums I ended up buying. I always wondered why they didn't make it much bigger.
I was between 14 and 15 when I first listened to RIOT. I am 56 today and I still appreciate this band which would surely have had a great career without the disappearance of Rhett Forrester who was one of the most talented hard rock singer of his generation.
I’m just a year older than you. Riot was one of my favorite bands in high school. I hear this now and it transports me right back to those days. Man those were great times.
riot lost two great singers and recently mark reale who i was priviliged to see in poughkeepsie ny he brought me onstage after show and signed my rock city album while talking about rhett and guy he got pretty emotional rip all
Great band. Liked both versions (with Guy and then Rhett) a lot! Prefer that material over the later Thundersteel and beyond stuff. Just up my ally more. RIP Rhett and Mark.
It was never the same after guy, don’t care what anyone says, i can remember nearly crying with disappointment when I took this home and put it on the turntable
