True story. Back in the 80s a friend of mine was dating Mark Reale. She called me and said hey do you want to meet him? I said most definitely!. They came to visit me at my house, I just happened to have three Riot albums. He signed all three with the inscription "loud and proud". Truly a day I'll never forget. He was an awesome dude and an awesome guitar player! Long live Riot!!!
Saw them as a support to Sammy Hagar (I think) back in the early 80's. He could've stayed home - Riot were awesome. One of those gigs where you expect nothing from the support band & get blown away. Great memories. Many thanks for posting the video.
thank you for all the vids of Riot you have posted! This band and U.F.O. Were my two very favorite bands! These guys are why I had chosen a career in music! thank you again!
Guy had the perfect voice for this band. He was an incredible vocalist and lyricist. It's unfortunate that corporations like Capital jerked these groups around. They said they were too hard. Well gee I guess groups like Deep purple, Uriah Heep, Rainbow and Black Sabbath were also to hard and heavy. How absolutely ridiculous. Riot was and is as good a hard rock/metal group that you'll ever find. Period........
This isnt the live audio but it's still awesome. This is basically a music video. That's how they make them, they play it live and they put the studio recording over it. Anyways, RIOT RULES!!!
We just added this to our playlist. In a way, music such as this, is the reason RP was started. We hope one day to support and promote bands like Riot in San Antonio and across the country. And I just don't mean kickin ...
yes finally all over the Net..RIOT..........I knew from the start that they where a GREAT BAND...I Bought my first album Rock City in 1977....and Never Looked Back...
First thing I don't spake Spanish. I spake English. Seconded thing I took the live footage and sync it to the studio version of the song to make as a music video. If you like to see the full live show click the link. Riot - Live at My Fathers Place - Long Island, New York 9-15-1981 (Full Show) Soon all of my music videos will be moved to my music videos channel. ruclips.net/channel/UCY5F-GVewJHIlpxSj4oKoxg
If you didn't know how to play this song........you were not playing in any legit metal band in the 80s. I went to a battle of the bands once 6 bands all played this song.

One of the best American hard rock/metal acts of the late 70s and early 80s. I was a huge fan myself RIP Guy and Mark
I remember these guys in 81 but why did they change singers?
Speranza was best singer of this band.RIP
I totally agree.
He was the ONLY singer that mattered for me.
Rhett Forrester was better
@@domingossavio9418 wrong. Guy buried him. Better range more versatile than Rhett
@@Melodycat918 no, Rhett was far better
One of my favorite bands!!!!
So great. Music of my 20s. Driving around with my friends, drinking beer, having fun and shouting along.
One of the greatest bands with nothing but bad luck. These guys were amazing live and I still listen all the time. They’re sorely missed.
One of the best Hard Rock bands there ever was!
These guys and UFO got me through a tour of Afghanistan: RIP.
You have impeccable taste in music.

This drummer smokes Lars Ulrich and so many others who came after. Where is the justice for unsung heroes of Hard Rock?
