    Worth $800 not $1100

    You should rename the video, it is more an advertising to the Fenix 8 than a comparation.

    owning a fenix 7 pro, this feels like too little of an upgrade. if it had an e-sim it would be an instant-buy. Not to have it on all the time, but not having to keep my phone on my body would be a real big advantage. also with that battery life, being able to have an emergeny 'phone' handy that keeps it charge for more than a month could be useful.

    Thanks for the comparison, with a lot of the Fenix 7 now on sale, I was debating should I get the Fenix 8 or the 7 on sale. I'm getting the 8.

    I bought the Fenix 7 and I was bothered by the display, it looks analog. Does the fenix 8 change the display to be more kind of digital? With more brightness?

      What you refering to as "analong" is called MIP (Memory-in-Pixel) display and despite it looking "analog" it is actually more practical for a smart watch. It has low power consumption and is superior to any other screen type when it comes to visibility at a direct sunlight. The more light it receives from the environment the brighter it looks. And it can always be on showing you time 24/7 without draining battery much or suffering from "burn in" over time like "digital" looking alternatives. But to each their own, Fenix 8 does have an amoled display option as an alternative to MIP.

    Nice video🙂.
    I think you made a mistake. The fenix 8 doesn’t have 29 days. That‘s the 51mm. And then you said that had the fenix 7 has 18 days. So you were comparing the Fenix 8 51mm and the Fenix 7 47mm

    Bro I still got my fenix 6. I’ve been so tempted to upgrade but my battery life still lasts 7 days and charges just fine. The price point is definitely not encouraging

    There are the bugs in the Fenix8.. Screen brightness in low light conditions makes my Felix 8 51 Amoled completely UNUSABLE!!! Also the watch lags even in the watch face menu.. it’s a horrible experience, never had these issues with my Fenix7X or my EPIXPRO 51!!

    Amoled.battery life is horrible compared to any MIP, so there cannot be any possibility that amoled fenix 8 has better battery life than fenix 7

      Battery life is not horrible and Amoled looks miles better imo.

    I'm done buying garmin junk. They push new models and ignore and ones. Non stop firmware issues. When you ask garmin about watch issues, they just say to buy a new watch.

    Why do you sometimes pronounce it “fennix” and sometimes “phoenix” super irritating

  • @Ellifiknow
    @Ellifiknow 12 дней назад

    Pronounced Feenix. Update your idiotic virtual voice for correct pronunciation, and how about reviewing your own video next time before you send it out, instead of showing no consideration whatsoever for your audience?
