Hey everybody, I hope you enjoyed my video. If you want to take another look at the Enduro 3, you can find it here: amzn.to/4hb32NC. If you buy the watch through this affiliate link, you’ll be supporting my channel, but of course, you won't have to pay any extra. Thanks a lot!😊
Both great watches, like the Fenix 8 for the call/connectivity option, however Enduro 3 is just so much better as it's cheaper, longer battery life (Solar) Good review and keep it going!
@@qanatuka It really fits well, and so much more capabilities. Just type in 945 vs enduro 3 there is a good reddit post of the comparisons you can get ready to enjoy
Great video! I’m trying to decide between the Enduro 3 and the fenix 8. Do you feel that the buttons on the fenix will be more durable since they don’t use o-rings? And how do you like the display with the maps between the two since one is MIP and the other amoled?
Thank you! 😊 Mh, I don’t think there‘s much of a difference in the built quality of the buttons or the watches in general. Considering the display, it depends. AMOLED displays can display more data and details than MIP displays so I would generally prefer them but on the other hand, MIP displays are easier to read in direct sunlight, which is why I tend to use MIP watches for outdoor activities like hiking etc. I will do another separate video comparing the MIP and AMOLED Fenix 8, so stay tuned for that ✌🏼
Hey great review! Appreciate it! Is there any difference in terms of workout dynamics between the Enduro 3 and Fênix 8? Like running/triathlon data and analytics.
I chose the Enduro 3 over the fenix 8 as it is lighter and has a better battery life, the enduro 3 has the best of the venu 3/Forerunner 965 which I liked and the rideability of the fenix 8, for NOK 3000 less here in Norway
I have just ordered the Enduro 3. I personally prefer the MIP screens as i dont like the brightness of the more smart eatch type AMOLED for most of my uses and prefer having more battery life and as I am upgrading from a very old 735xt it is still a massive upgrade. I maybe would have gone for a smaller size if it was an option but given it does mapping the extra size could be useful for that.
Thanks for the review, very helpful. I still have a fenix 3 sapphire hr which I bought in 2016/2017, it is going strong. Bought an inreach mini 2 a few months ago, was sad to find out the Fenix 3 is not compatible with the Mini 2. Any idea on the compatibility between the mini 2, enduro 3 vs fenix 8 vs fenix 7? I usually use the watch for multiday hikes, open water / indoor swimming, gyming and just general outdoor activitiy. I usually don't wear a watch when at home. I am leaning towards the Enduro 3 becuase of the battery life - depending on the compatibility to InReach Mini 2. Thoughts?
Can you retest some older Garmin watch to check if updates improve HR accuracy? Every tester only test given watch only shortly after release when the software is new and possibly buggy. So for someone who wants to buy this watch one or two years later there is no information if it got any better. If watches are getting better with updates then that would be generally useful information.
Hi, don’t you have a stability issues with your E3? Mine is constantly stuck at loading screens, go back to watchface, reboot, disappearing UI elements, tons of bugs and glitches 🥵 especially navigating. There’s no turn notifications! It’s a nice watch and I believe there’s nothing similar on the market but I feel like a beta tester and it is so frustrating that I’m giving it back. :| ✌️
Hi, I‘m sorry to hear that you had these bad experiences with the watch. For me, these things didn’t happen to be honest. The watch is not the fastest in general, as Garmin watches are generally slower than classic smartwatches but I didn’t experience the things you were mentioning.. Again, sorry to hear that and I hope you have more luck with your next watch! Regards 😊
Would have been happy to hear your personal opinions and experiences, vs just the feature comparisons. Do you prefer Mips or Amoled? Do you miss the microphone? How was wearing the bigger watch?
Hey, thanks for your feedback! I prefer using AMOLED displays in my daily life, but tend to use MIP watches for outdoor sports activities like hiking, running etc. I don’t miss the microphone because I am not really using the smart features. Wearing the bigger watch was fine for me, but that’s probably because I’m used to wearing bigger watches and my wrist circumference is 185 mm. Additionally, the Enduro 3 is comparably light and with the nylon strap, it’s very comfortable to wear. If you have any further questions, let me know 😊
Is fenix8 the ultimate garmin? Too many models - can anyone advise me which model has more health features like blood oxygen ecg sleep-apnea bodytemperature etc
Intrigued to hear your thoughts! I've been switching between the Enduro 3 and the T-Rex 3 since they launched. Man, I wish Garmin would do away with the sleep schedule feature and just capture everything automatically!
Both watches are great choices! The Enduro 3 is certainly better but the T-Rex 3 is just a fraction of its price, so for me, it has the better price performance ratio. If you have any further questions on any of the two watches, let me know! ✌🏼
I bought the Enduro 3 a week ago. The software is still buggy so not 100% happy. 800 Euros and they did not even test "turn alerts" on GPS navigation (how did you miss this in your "review"!!!!) or that the watch can not sync with Garmin Connect 100% of times (in 7 days 5 files created by the watch can only be uploaded manually as sync fails). At least it works with Base Camp - except custom maps (Freizeitkarte) but that will be fixed in 1.8x firmware (Source: Garmin Forum). What a joke for 800 Euros. Bottom line. I am glad that I bought the lighter one as I don't care about voice commands or the terrible speaker. The Enduro 3 will probably be amazing in another 3+ months as the firmware with proper navigation is still in beta and two releases ahead of the current stable version.

I still can’t decide between enduro or fenix 8 47mm or 51.
The enduro 3 although big is so light and comfortable
Thank you! 😊 Yeah, it’s a hard decision as both watches are very similar and great choices! What makes you lean towards the Fenix 8?
The screen for the mapping. That’s is all.
I have a discount so only about £85 difference between them

Thanks for answering.
Do you have turn notifications on your watch?

+1 for the answer :)
I have a wrist circumference of 185 mm. ✌🏼

Yes its better Fenix 8 and 300 eur cheaper. Enduro 3 is simply the best now.

Enduro only comes on 51 mm. Most everyone looks like a clown with a dinner plate on their wrist. Fenix 8 just because of size options.
I wish they had 47mm of enduro. Lighter with good battery life.
