Great video! This is an excellent video on a very important topic. Unfortunately Chinese sentences are not Merely SVO. Chinese is a TOPIC centered highly contextual language. At best we can identify these rules： STPMVO： Subject Time Place Manner Verb Objects Please note that the subject in Chinese does NOT have to appear in the first position. In fact, the TOPIC must appear in the first position. Note also that in Chinese we always alway organize from LARGEST AND MOST INCLUSIVE downward sequentially toward that which is Smaller And Less Inclusives to conclude with what is (smallest and least inclusive) so e.g. Continent/Country/City/Street/Address; Century, Year, Month, Day. I believe the DIRECT object PRECEDES the indirect Object I threw the ball to him. 我把球扔给他 我把书放在桌子上 I put the books onto the desk. If we, foreigners, organize our sentences as STPMVO the Chinese people WILL understand us but sometimes the first position changes to emphasize a particular element in the sentence, most often time．
You're right. There's certainly plenty to learn about sentence structure beyond what's presented in this video. A lot has been excluded and saved for future videos😊 (And yes, direct objects do precede indirect objects)

Both names are good. I prefer "燕云希", because the character "云" means "clouds", and it carries the meaning of "floating and white clouds" in the sky, pure white, clean and honest. And it's easier to write "云" than "韵"😊
I have a frustrating experience. Not knowing where to begin or hitting a plateau can feel demoralizing and make it hard to hit the books and study like you know you should…Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships.
I definitely agree that making friends from different cultures tends to be great for expanding your understanding of the world and generating creativity :)
