      I'm not exactly sure which tools you are referring to.
      Are you referring to the sand-o-flex?

    Ouch ! Looks like a good way to lose a finger. Really beautiful wood. You brought out the beat it had to offer.

      Thank you. Yes, it was painful but I think finding out what was inside made it worth it.

      On this one I put a couple coats of shellac and sprayed it with polycryclic.

    Sitting here watching it I wondered how many times you came close to smacking your finger and either timed it right and it went between the place it woulda hit or you were a fraction of a fraction away from hitting it LOL

    That is a root ball from a juniper bush. I'll bet it smelled good when turning. It is beautiful! Great job.👍👍

      That's a new one.
      I've been asking around to see what exactly it is.
      If I can figure out what it is I can look for more.

      I'm thinking it's a Yew shrub. I'm pretty certain. The bark on a Juniper is much more Grey.
