I love how Iggy's description of performing whilst on acid begins with, "I'm a professional."
Oh man, this got me good
😂😂😂
@@micklowrey1522 👌
Iggy seems like the coolest , down to earth, friendly guy.!!
IGGY IS the coolest down to earth dude EVER
Iggy's gotta be one of the most uninhibited, loveable, honest characters in all of rock music.
Except the pedo stuff
@@N279 I've come to realize a lot of people in the music industry were pedos.
Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Steven Tyler to name a few
I have no idea why I love Jim Jarmusch so much, but I do.
He is just a cool dude, thats as clear as it is. Only lovers left alive is one of the best movies ive ever seen
Nick Jermichalesactionjackson The music from that movie like _changed_ my life...
@@crywhit4619 exactly the same
Jim "Mugatu" Jarmusch
I swear Iggy Pop has the inabilty to wear a full set of clothes.
Eye of the Wizard 😂😆😂😆
Eye of the Wizard You are great.
Don't care, Love Osterberg.
He had this one photo with Bowie where he was wearing a suit and it's unsettling. It's like something's wrong with the world.
Iggy Pop is a living legend 🤘🏻
JustJash So is Jarmusch.
JustJash He's outlived many that even considered him a legend.
These two fucking LEGENDS have made a film. And I will see it.
The film has been eight (long) years in the making.

The why the hell cant I see it?
Who is this Iggy Pop impersonator that is wearing a shirt?
thats what I'm saying!!!
Trust me, you don't want to see him at his age with his shirt off.
Shoeless instead.
why? he's probably in better shape than you are.
Iggy does wear shirts hard to believe
The vice girl sounds like a soccer mom. Chirpy and inquisitive and completely clueless about the stooges. But her cuteness makes it kind of OK. Jim and Iggy kind of carry the interview on their own.
I love Jims bit about undisclosed location and interrogation ... hes a funny guy
I read iggy autobiography great book. Iggy a legend .
GREAT interview! Two legends on screen! I saw the film last night; slow start but picks up heavy !
saw the movie opening night in Detroit, waaaaay worth it
I was there, too. It was amazing.
y'all remember when Iggy was a dad on 'Pete and Pete'?! The 90's rocked!!!!
Can't wait to see this, both of these guys are legends.
But who are they?
fuck off man
cichy I think "kira" is a woman, not a man. Be nice.
google them fool!!!!!!!!! they are amazing
OK it's April '17... just saw Gimme Danger. AMAZING ! GREAT ! LOVE IT !
I hope this gets on netflix or something, cause I wanna see it! Apparently amazon streaming is not working in Brazil yet.
Iggy is thinking why the padlock....
sid vicious
She probably wanted to think she was punk, or maybe impress iggy
she collared
she is part padlock part sweetheart you are part pain in the arse part poseur.
all collared girls are totally sweethearts, but her collar its nor leather nor within ring, that would be impressive
Looking forward to seeing this. Two legends collaborating, priceless.
"I'm a professional" YES. love him. Listening to his wisdom about acid.
fuck yea iggy
Got to see Jarmusch and Pop at the prelease screening in Detroit. It was very moving to see familiar and forgotten faces and places in Ann Arbor and Detroit, Michigan - especially the Ashetons. Fans of Jarmusch, the Stooges, or American pop culture should see this film.
0:31 their faces were hilarious.
I love how honest he is, talking about drugs like it's the most natural things. Not a lot of musicians do that anymore, they deny everything. I have so much respect for him for telling it as it was.
KA IT IS THE MOST NATURAL THING
Huge respect for these LEGENDS!!!
The two of them have different voices but talk exactly the same.. if that makes sense
It makes perfect sense Christian
I live for the moment when Jim widens his eyes and says "oH MY GOD ITS IGGY POP"
omg i love him with all my heart. great spirit, amazing music.
love how Jarmusch brings you back to talk about the film ... xD
i cant wait to see that film !!! awesome
No discussion about the Stooges can begin without involving the MC5 ❤
Iggy worked at Discount Records in Ann Arbor! He also had Leonard Hoag as his history teacher!
this is rock n roll in its purest form.how can you not?
The stooges were savage... God I love them!!☠♥️☠
Okay--I was really put off by that Aerosmith comment at the beginning. No--the Stooges weren't the beginning of Aerosmith, but the MC5 were an influence on Joe Perry, and believe or not--there was a time, in a much smaller rock music world than we have now, with a thousand fewer sub-genres, that Aerosmith was actually considered "punk" by more than one rock critic. I know--probably someone who considered James Taylor to be "real" rock and roll, but still, as an Aerosmith fan, I think there was much more commercial examples he could have used, like REO Speedwagon as being polar opposites of the Stooges
great interview, great people
Iggy Pop interviewed by a Valley Girl! Classic!
wtfs an easyandy? a gay thing, or...?
You'll never know
What do I wear that would make me look punk?! Hmmm, what about a lock?! That's punk chic!
Real punks don't call themselves punks how many times do I have to say that...
it's not punk unless you can give someone a smiley with it
that literally made no sense
I cannot wait to see this film!!!!!!!
Uff amo a Iggy es una leyenda viva!! Ese espíritu woww!! tan apasionado en la música como habrá sido en otra cosa? Hehe. En lo musical ha aportado mucho en la música, el arte. Único, un genio ❤️
this why I love vice
early stooges gigs are probably the place i would go if i had a time machine, young janes addiction giggs look pretty wild too.
Never mind those two, that Vice reporter is an absolute knockout! Cute smile!
What a nice humble sweet guy Iggy Pop is.
I like how she wears a lock to be closer to Iggy and Jim.
"I know we are ugly, but we have the music"
Leonard Cohen
"those of us who are oppressed by the figures of beauty"
i thought you were talking about jews
Johnny oneye oppressed
Simon Firth spellchecker sux
Keeps changing words
I dont even know why commented tbf mate. Just know that lyric like the back of my shed.
You spend a lot of time in the back of your shed?

Kim Taylor Bennett awesome interview thank you ❤️
Los amo tanto a los dos.
Sabrina M. y yo a ti 💋
I keep forgetting that I actually saw him live
iggy pop was on star trek DS9
Iggy is like I’ll wear a shirt, but I’m not wearing shoes damnit
The thumbnail looked like Bill Hader and Fred Armisen in Documentary Now!
Hey! Iggy pop has shirt on, this is new
Thatguy47 but no shoes
He is a beautiful being and the Stooges music makes u feel dam good
Well done!!
Iggy looks so unconfortable with clothes on
Can't believe I've never heard of them before ! The band sounds rad
Kaleidescope Dope You should listen to Fun House and Raw Power! Such great albums.
dont forget about the album "the stooges"
Kaleidescope Dope damn bro- living under a rock? Lol
IDKSOMTHIN a cave bro, a cave
Kaleidescope Dope Raw Power will be the loudest album you've ever heard. Enjoy.
I love this girl and the Stooges
02:48 how can you not love him
8:41 Apologies if I'm being thick, but why couldn't he share it with the other members?
they've had all passed by the time it was finished.
How many guesses would you like.
Jim "The Hair" Jarmusch
Iggy's shows are still incredible. One thats aged fine

I stand by him and opposing being tied down to a genre or definition. I’m a shifting energetic being with a soul not some robot
Hi Iggy! Love you!!

Thank you Jim for Only Lovers Left Alive. Sequel, maybe?
I wanna take Jim Jarmusch and paint my garage with his head.
wait is this the guy from the cigarette short film?
Iggy Pop. Cool dude and nice guy.
ghost dog was great!
Still in mind what Iggy said (in the documentary) about Crosby, Stills, Nash .....so true....I´m not a fan of conspiracy theory, BUT their music sounds "too sweet" sometimes you might ask yourself, which needle hit my venes?!
BUT,on the other side (come on,Iggy) "Don´t let the sun go down on me" by Elton John is still great😁
Jim Jarmisch refers to this piece of work not as a documentary, but as his love letter to the Stooges.
Iggy is an American treasure.
Iggy owns!
SAW IT. SAW IT AGAIN. AND AGAIN !!! SO GREAT !!! STOOGES !!! Watch it with someone not too familiar with Iggy & Stooges and see how they like it. They will. ENJOY !
I'd say first... but who wants to be the first comment on a Vice video?
nice
cool
❤️
the style editor of noisey interviews about a documentary..
Exposure looks a little low here.
interesting interview... but can you please start uploading videos where you travel around the globe to report things such as drugs, wars and politics etc please?
like the old vice days
Vice still does all of that too. Vice has become a media company so they cover pretty much everything. It's like watching King of the Road and stating that Vice only produces skateboard videos now.
Daniel Walker okay thanks for clearing it up, I appreciate your answer.
Iggy just looks straight up boss as fuck lol.
JIm has looked the same since the 90s
what a babe KTB!!!
Jim Jarmusch.... SO hot right now.
Love
Jim Jarmusch looks like David Byrne reimagined by aliens.
Iggy Pop and the Q-TIP | Documentary
Does that neck thing she is wearing indicate that she's a sub?

Nope. In the BDSM world, subs wear plain black leather collars. But in the punk world, collars, padlocks and the like are just worn as ornaments, And yes, that has been known to cause confusion. But Sid Viscious wore a chain iwth a badlcok.
badlcok? LOL.
igggy still hot
fuk yea!
WHERE IS GUITAR MOVES
Fuck yeah!!!!
2 chord wonders
"legend"
Interview is good and is about a great movie, but.. Interviewee is louder than the subjects. And Iggy is quieter even than JJ. BAD AUDIO IS A HATE CRIME.
Jim Jarmusch's hairstyle was influenced by Landru from Star Trek
Moe Tucker. Syd Barrett. Brian Jones.
god he'd even take those ole conversed for christmas come on
nah taking my drive up north could be a harvest moon ahah iuno knowing
