I used to hate on the series because i was a fool........... the show is amazing and now. I ended up loving the song. And I feel that that this song made me a better person. Please anyone...... dont put it off. Change is difficult but you end up embracing it
I hated this series because i thought it was fake when i first found it, but i always liked the song i would even listen to it while doing home work :)
its because everyone who recorded it was hurting, look up hte recording for enterprise history, its... explains why they are sounding so painful when they sing it
Tenchzen I agree. Star Trek Enterprise happens to awake something bigger in us, as the time goes by... Faith of The Heart... Faith in Our Loving Creator...
Star Trek Enterprise : It was a series that was meant for trekkies if you werent a trekkie you wouldnt of understood it it was the birth of the federation and starfleet . Archer laid the ground work for what is Now the Federation of Planets. i miss the show and wish they woulda gave it another season just to see the birth of the federation and the evoultion of the enterprise and a hand off to the crew of NCC-1701 . also thank god this time line wasnt effected by jjverse
I'm a trekkie! William Shatner is 90 years old!! Wow! Hard to believe that he's the same guy doing drop kicks on Star Trek. The series was way ahead of its time and set the tone for a lot of equipment that we use or used today, i.e. beepers, cell phones, etc. Great show then, good show now. "Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise..." and "It's been a long ride getting from there to here...but my time has finally come. Going where the heart will take me. "😀
This song works on so many levels. A classic! My depression has tried to beat me and failed. I lost my faith in God for a while after my dad was taken from me in a cruel way. My faith is as strong as ever. this will be my funeral song.
First time hearing this song: Really Trek this sucks Five episodes in: Okay its not that bad Rest of season One: Hmm this is kinda catchy Season two: BECAUSE I GOT FAITH OF THE HEART!!!! Season three and on: Oh come on what this up tempo shit
This is by far my favourite star trek song, and the reason is simple, it symbolises the strugle of humanity, on one side we want to become a better race, to unite, and to discover the universe together, and on the other, or destructive natur, and almost constant wars.
Can't stop to listen this song. I love it so much! It take me back to three years ago when I used to watch Star Trek Enterprise with my father! Aw, I miss it...
@Sean Hardman The more I listened, the more emotional I would get, sometimes crying like a baby. I don't know why, since I'm not the least bit religious.
I was my class speaker at my graduation and the speaker gets to pick the soundtrack for the entire graduation so I had a bunch of other songs but this was the last one and about 95% of the people who weren't cry started crying when they heard it. I love this song.
I've been binge watching Enterprise this weekend; normally I skip the intro but this songs deserves to be listened to over and over again...it perfectly and precisely encapsulates Archer's character and the theme of the show.
At first I didn't like it, because I Thought It Wouldn't have fit with the series. Then I began to listen to it and now I really like it. I think that Star Trek Enterprise is really underestimated, because is a beautiful series. HI From Italy
if you look up hte history of this song and its recording for enterprise youl see why they sound so intense while singing it, they were all hurting when it was time to sing, yet they insisted, to put emotion into it and heart, to feel it as they sang it all out
im listening to this is memorie of antione yelchin would would have been 30 this year. RIP mr chekove. you will be missed and i cant say this without thinking about how well you did. you have reached the final frontier and i know that you and mister spock (lenard nimoy) as well as the other star trek actors we have lost are all standing on the bridge waiting to explore the new final frontier. live long and prosper
I wonder why they cancelled the show it was great. as for the show If you have to make a finale it's is better to make the main character go down with its spaceship
Wow, no dislikes? That's rare for this song... I love it, it perfectly embodies the spirit of Star Trek. If they ever make an Enterprise movie, I hope this plays during the opening credits.
Ich kenne dieses Lied von star Trek Enterprise und dachte mir am Anfang so was ist das weil das so anders ist als alle anderen star Trek Intros aber jetzt liebe ich dieses Lied😘💖💞

Russell Watson is an incredible singer. He started as a classical singer, then had problems with benign tumors on his pituitary gland(s). He fought back, and this is him now. Incredible voice
OMG this is powerful, really uplifting, especially when one has had a bad day, this is the tune to cheer things up, thank you and Live long and Prosper.
I watched all of the star trek series as a kid and when Enterprise started and had this theme, I loved it from the minute I heard it. Crazy how whwn I became a teen long after the show ended and I heard people hated this song as the intro for Enterprise, i truly believed all humans had gone insane lol I honestly cannot fathom how anybody with even halfway decent taste could hate this song, the only crtique you could give this song os that its too damn good LOL As for the storyline of the Enterprise, I do feel theywasted some of the time they had for good storylines on glorified filler and I hated that they didn't have Archer and T'Pol be together as I felt the story really revolved around that and was the true endgame, even in the beginning.
My ex partner alway sang this song to me so it always been our song because we was together for nearly two years and I still cry to it when I listen to it
I honestly thought it was Bryan Adams at first. But I love this song and I love enterprise! I never thought I would be a fan of Star Trek, but I'm thoroughly enjoying the enterprise series!
Where My Heart *Won't* Take Me That's the wrong road Not getting from there to here It's been a bad time And my time is still not near And I can't feel the change in the wind right now There's so much in my way And they're still gonna hold me down for long Yes, they're still gonna hold me down 'Cause I lack faith of the heart Not going where my heart will take me I lack faith to believe I can't do anything I lack strength of the soul And everyone will bend or break me I can't reach any star I lack faith I lack faith, faith of the heart
I didn't like this song the first time I saw Enterprise... I was used to the epic orchestral opening themes of other trek series. But know... after knowing the lyrics (I didn't understand it before because English is not my native language) I realize this songs fits Star Trek like a glove and represents very well the spirit of the Enterprise.
This is a wonderful song I have loved for a long time. It tells such a wonderful story when coupled with the show. Think about the show and its connection to the song
Hermosa canción, realmente inspiradora y encaja totalmente con el espíritu de Star Trek Enterprise, que por cierto la estoy viendo por Netflix y es muy muy buena!..
I remember the flak Enterprise got for the use of "Faith Of The Heart" and "Wherever You Will Go" (folks bitched it made Star Trek sound like a high school drama in space) and the questionable writing in season 4 that made it the shortest lived Trek. Still, listening to this song years later is kinda like coming home.
It's been a long road Getting from there to here It's been a long time But my time is finally near And I can feel the change in the wind right now Nothing's in my way And they're not gonna hold me down no more No, they're not gonna hold me down 'Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I've got faith to believe I can do anything I've got strength of the soul And no one's gonna bend or break me I can reach any star I've got faith I've got faith, faith of the heart It's been a long night Trying to find my way Been through the darkness Now I finally have my day And I will see my dream come alive at last I will touch the sky And they're not gonna hold me down no more No, they're not gonna change my mind 'Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I've got faith to believe I can do anything I've got strength of the soul And no one's gonna bend or break me I can reach any star I've got faith, faith of the heart I've known the wind so cold, I've seen the darkest days But now the winds I feel, are only winds of change I've been through the fire and I've been through the rain But I'll be fine 'Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I've got faith to believe I can do anything I've got strength of the soul And no one's gonna bend or break me I can reach any star 'Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I've got strength of the soul No one's gonna bend or break me I can reach any star I've got faith I've got faith, faith of the heart It's been a long road ruclips.net/video/USXQ758nVBQ/видео.html

Read the "Rise of the Federation" series of books. Very good and as close to cannon as you can be without being on tv.
DARK TIDES because. Kelvin Timeline starts after the USS Kelvin was Destroyed..
I Mean, Not Really. I Think It Might've Been The First Star Trek Show I Ever Watched, And I Sure As 'Ell Enjoyed, And Still Do Enjoy, Enterprise!

@Sean Hardman thank you
@Sean Hardman I’m sorry but I don’t want anyone else
Star Trek died first.
This is my mums favourite Star Trek theme music. Just bought the first season.
If you have Netflix, its on there as well.
Mine, too.
This song works on so many levels. A classic! My depression has tried to beat me and failed. I lost my faith in God for a while after my dad was taken from me in a cruel way. My faith is as strong as ever. this will be my funeral song.
Stay blessed, stay strong.
Didn't like it at first, then got accustomed to it, and now just love it (and the lyrics, too).
This song is legendary. Loving it. Thanks for gifting the world with this Russel.
First time hearing this song: Really Trek this sucks
Five episodes in: Okay its not that bad
Rest of season One: Hmm this is kinda catchy
Season two: BECAUSE I GOT FAITH OF THE HEART!!!!
Season three and on: Oh come on what this up tempo shit
I'm rewatching the series on Netflix. The up tempo is not as good. But still great show.
I love this song
This is by far my favourite star trek song, and the reason is simple, it symbolises the strugle of humanity, on one side we want to become a better race, to unite, and to discover the universe together, and on the other, or destructive natur, and almost constant wars.
Rather ashamed to say my favourite Star Trek song is by The Firm! However, I was only a young child when it came out, so that's my excuse.
Can't stop to listen this song. I love it so much! It take me back to three years ago when I used to watch Star Trek Enterprise with my father! Aw, I miss it...
Beautiful song, it really touches something inside of me :)
I love this song! I thought it was the best song for *"Star Trek Enterprise."*
@Sean Hardman The more I listened, the more emotional I would get, sometimes crying like a baby. I don't know why, since I'm not the least bit religious.
@Sean Hardman I agree.

I think that Star Trek Enterprise is really underestimated, because is a beautiful series.
HI From Italy
Klasse Lied und die Music , nice ;)
I am literally crying. Those optimistic years at the beginning of the century, where did they go?
I think they died pretty quickly when 9-11 happened, and it's just been going down hill ever since.
Where indeed.
But the path could have been different, the response is just as important as the event, even more so.
Great song for Graduation.
Exactly what I was thinking!
same! I might try and get this into my graduation ceremony next year
Not really
if you look up hte history of this song and its recording for enterprise youl see why they sound so intense while singing it, they were all hurting when it was time to sing, yet they insisted, to put emotion into it and heart, to feel it as they sang it all out
Commander Dolim of the Xindi Disliked this
Goku Black hi, ahrre
Though I like Star Trek, I'm not really a Trekker. But this song is just just..wow. I like it.
the correct term is "Trekkie" and yes, i agree, this song is AMAZING!!!!
I used to beg my parents to let me stay up so I could here this song.
don't know
Lol it's soundtrack to Star Trek: Discovery so it's probably new?
I love this song!! :))
This song makes me feel better when I'm feeling a little dispondent.
Same here.

And that's what the New Horizon space craft played a song at 2.9 billion miles away (closer to pluto's). :)

Such a beautiful song
Going to be the song for our first dance when I tie the knot with the man I love in September. Two Trekkies who fell in love
How wonderful, Briony, you are very well matched. I hope you will be very happy together ❤
If there is any song that gets me pumped before I have to go do something, or start my day off, It would be this one.

Vida longa ao Capitão Archer e a sua tripulação.

Where My Heart *Won't* Take Me
That's the wrong road
Not getting from there to here
It's been a bad time
And my time is still not near
And I can't feel the change in the wind right now
There's so much in my way
And they're still gonna hold me down for long
Yes, they're still gonna hold me down
'Cause I lack faith of the heart
Not going where my heart will take me
I lack faith to believe
I can't do anything
I lack strength of the soul
And everyone will bend or break me
I can't reach any star
I lack faith
I lack faith, faith of the heart
wow..nice song 5*

I know this song is a huge joke in the Star Trek fandom but you can’t deny it’s a beggar.
would playing this song continually to political prisoners be considered torture by Amnesty International?
Bob Dobbs
no sir, those involved in politics thrive on repetition. in fact, you are entitled to compensation for providing that service....
*-* what a great song, love it =DDD
Sub-commander t'pol believes that this song is illogical
I remember the flak Enterprise got for the use of "Faith Of The Heart" and "Wherever You Will Go" (folks bitched it made Star Trek sound like a high school drama in space) and the questionable writing in season 4 that made it the shortest lived Trek.
Still, listening to this song years later is kinda like coming home.
It's been a long road
Getting from there to here
It's been a long time
But my time is finally near
And I can feel the change in the wind right now
Nothing's in my way
And they're not gonna hold me down no more
No, they're not gonna hold me down
'Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
I've got faith, faith of the heart
It's been a long night
Trying to find my way
Been through the darkness
Now I finally have my day
And I will see my dream come alive at last
I will touch the sky
And they're not gonna hold me down no more
No, they're not gonna change my mind
'Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith, faith of the heart
I've known the wind so cold, I've seen the darkest days
But now the winds I feel, are only winds of change
I've been through the fire and I've been through the rain
But I'll be fine
'Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
'Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got strength of the soul
No one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
I've got faith, faith of the heart
It's been a long road
