Blew us all away and songs of hope and happiness were everywhere!! Buisness s were pouring millions of dollars for the homeless and farmers who needed aid!! The United States took care of its people for once and every nation envied what we had! I still cry at times because that kind of music now is gone!

I heared this song more than 15 years ago when I was 11 or 12 years old, sitting in my dad's car in a Northern Chinese city. This melody is not only nostalgic, it witness a fantastic period of time. Back then, we had nothing but only hope and motivation for a better and bright future. This song was my impression to "America" and the western world, I was wondering what is it across the ocean. Now I'm living in the US, the world has changed so much, it cannot get back to what it was like before. Life is getting more and more tough, only the melody remains.
