Dear man, your thoroughness is very much appreciated. I love your videos.
Thank you so much for your support, it means the world to me!
You definitely don’t need to unscrew the tail cap every time you change modes… you can just lift and turn.
I ordered mine. Looks like a practical torch. I'll use it as a tactical key EDC keychain light.
It’s too big for key chain use.
We have a flashlight that looks very much like the one shown on your web site. It has "tactical flashlight" written on the side. It has the same screw off rings along the barrel. I can not find the charger port.
We have had this flash light a very long time. So the manual is lost.
Can you give me any clue on where I can get help?
Thanks
R Kent
Great flashlight but how do you charge with that lanyard cord? After unclipping it there is the USB-C on one end and some sort of charger connecter on the other end with 4 contacts. What the heck do you plug that into???
A usb adapter
It's really good. How do I get it in Uganda, East Africa?
How sturdy is that keyring for defense and breaking glass?
Enough to cause major damage and glass shattering force
The T4 biggest pro’s are the screw-on cover protecting the usb charger, the simple 3 position (lock/duty/tactical) tail-cap and the 7075 Aluminum body.
Wish it was 1000 lumens!
Btw get the tactical-ring option you’ll thank me later.
1000 lumens? You need a bigger light. That'll over heat the poor thing
Thank you for the review, it is well done for sure. Too bad the light itself is useless to me. It's "Tactical" so it has to have a STROBE mode...too bad Wuben isnt aware that strobe mode is almost never wanted by people who would actually want this light for "tactical" purposes. Having it go into a low output then max output would be better. Oh well. It'll be a pass for me.
Yeah pass, I use strobe as an SOS to alert 1st responders in a medical emergency. Not at their eyes but at the ground. Or I use strobe to designate a specific spot for heavy equipment parking. That glass breaker would cause injury to your unprotected hand against glass. It's a pass more me as well.
I see this light as a ruggedized Wuben E6. Same emitter giving very similar lumens and throw and beam. The problem in ruggedizing it seems to be the clunky method to get Strobe. On the E6, there's no mode switch. The E6 is like you're always in the equivalent of the T4's duty mode, but no mode switch is needed because you can get Strobe directly with a double-click. As you point out, Strobe is a rarely used feature, but if you want to use it. like against an aggressive dog, you want it quickly. Not a situation where you have time to use two hands to turn a mode switch and then operate the tail switch.
If you primarily like this light for the throw in a small size, and don't care about the rest, get the E6 for identical lighting prowess. I wonder about liability if you use the ring in a fight, if your jurisdiction outlaws brass knuckles.
@@jjt2meDon’t get brass knuckles confused with a Tac-ring.
