The 3rz-fe in my 99 Tacoma, is supercharged, with a bored out throttle body, Volant intake system, long running headers, Magnaflow high flow cat, 2 1/2 inch piping to a Magnaflow muffler all from LC Engineering, everytime I start it people say it sounds like a V8 lol.
I was looking up the 3RZ and I found this vid... man Im glad I did, Im thinking of building another race car and I think I will go with Haltech. Way to go guys!
Awesome stuff boys, I have a new found respect for the 3RZ motor they are now into over 1000HP with turbo and 7 second 1/4 mile times.... with a little bit of massaging of and a Haltech ECU of course.
Wow follow that dream Paul. I know exactly what you mean about the Big trucks at the Baja. One of the most exciting things I have ever seen. Man I miss Baja. So happy for ya Cousin
What an awesome story! Kudos to you guys! I just got here researching some 2TR builds for a little family team of ours, quite similar to this, and this was hugely inspiring! Any chance I could contact this team for some tips?
I have a t100. the 3rz is great, too bad they are expensive to build. Need a standalone for any more than basic mods or 7psi. I'd rather swap in a diesel for easy power and mpg

What a life story man. Amazing! Super cool truck too
So bad ass. I would love to even go see one of these races let alone drive one of these vehicles.

I've been watching these guys on the forums since the early 2000s, glad you guys are affiliated
The most beautiful Toyota race truck!
You 2 look like brothers
300 kw is like 405 flywheel horsepower, that's a lot of power for a normally aspirated motor, i wonder how reliable and thirsty it is

A wrecked 86 SR5 with a blown head gasket? As an owner of an older 22r Yota, I'm surprised the guy didn't want $10k 🤣
