Paul could have kept the song for himself, it would have been a huge hit for him ...however with Frank singing it - the song achieved an iconic level. I am so amazed to hear Paul Anka’s life story. He has been my idol since my teenage year of 14. He has been so dedicated to his music and let his family come second in his life that is sad. 5 wives and 6 children how did he do it! I saw Paul Anka live at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on June 1, 2024. He sang this song as well as all of his hits. What a GREAT SHOW IT WAS and He Still Has Got It now in his 80's. If you get the chance to see him live, "I highly recommend it" You assure you, you won't be disappointed.
