I am a 78 year old male I think the Platters are the greatest of my life time. The Mills brothers were a little before my time but they were great also.There have been many fine white and black , male and female groups during my time however ,in my opinion, the Platters were a step above them. Wish the whole film "Rock around the clock" could be restored and colorized using AI 8K. This song sequence from the film is fantastic. The colorization is so very real and there is not a sign of a flicker where colors alter or change. This is color by technicolor at its 50's best.!
I'm a bit better at color correction than I used to be, but it's harder to avoid flicker!
