@@FritzRamos I’m looking into an axle back exhaust, and possibly the gts hood, seems like a great price for the quality and fit of hood you got.
@@lifeofsiy7521The hood definitely is. Especially if you're lowered. 20 pounds isn't much but in the front it really is. There's this speed bump that I could never quite fully clear before the hood and now I can.
Would you mind sharing your thoughts on the exhaust you end up getting when the time comes?

The hood has mad a considerable improvement in my daily driving especially since I'm lowered. It's also noticeable during wider turns. Let me know if you have any other questions

The corners of my hood sit slightly higher than the top of the front bumper. The middle is aligned well. What do you advise? If I pull the corners back the gap became too big.
What do the turning bump stops do by the hooks?
Ik this comment is a little old but you can adjust the latches which effects the height of the hood
Hey Fritz, hope you see this. I’ve got an M240i, and I’m using this video as a guide to installing my own new hood. Everything makes sense, but I’m concerned about one thing: that black portion on the underside of the OEM hood toward the center, what do I do with this? I see that you didn’t take it off of your OEM hood/ put it on the new one. Is this some sort of weather protection? I don’t want to miss anything and potentially open the door to a water damage situation. Thanks

It's definitely on the todo list. I was thinking Wavtrac. Do you have one that you could share your insight on?
@@FritzRamos Wavetrac would be a good choice. If you are willing to have your car down, you can send directly to wavetrac for modification of the ring gear and install into the "pumpkin". Then just re-install and fill with oil. You'll need a 50?mm wrench to break the drive shaft loose; output shafts have a special tool to disengage but you can do it with other simple tools.
Question for you.. do you regret doing this hood!? Or do you think it’s worth gettin? I’m looking to possibly getting it myself…

Oh no! Well if you decide to get it, you could always sell your current hood for more because of the ppf
So far you’ve saved around 40-50lbs with aodhan wheels and now another 20lbs with the hood, did you notice any improvements in terms of driving ?
Do you mean 50 Total? I think the wheels only came in 4 lbs lighter per wheel and the hood is 20, soonly about 36 pounds in total. The wheels you can tell a difference right away, the car feels less sluggish off the line. In terms of the hood, the weight in noticeable a bit during take off, but more in a turn where it feels more balanced opposed to its previous front bias. You also can hear the engine and turbo as well.
