- Yes you did read the title of the video right, in this video I'm replacing my motorhomes water pump for a new on ALL ON MY OWN! haha

You’ve got no idea how good mates they are
Little tip wrap the tape in the same direction as you screw the connection on, not really an issue but stops the tread unwinding the tape you put on.

The strangest thing is I have no interest in a water pump whatsoever , but since finding your channel i find myself watching simply because of your enthusiasm and chirpy attitude . I notice these I am watching are from a year ago , have u no recent ones ? You really are a happy go lucky fella and that's why you have so many people watching your channel . Keep it up 😁

Well done mate. Great sense of achievement when you do it yourself and you learn a bit more about the internal workings of your motorhome. I loved the fact you left in the bit where you had problems crimping the first connector. A fiddly job where two pairs of hands would make it easier. 👏👏👏

Really pleased you sorted your problem, You had air in the system from going low on water maybe did you test running the system before the new pump install? either way water is one of the most important things of van life after petrol and running engine, and MOT and electric, and and and

Brilliant job mate looks good, couldn't help notice u wrapped the tape round the threads the wrong way tho dude, as u tighten the connection it will unwrap the tape. Reallu pleased to see u happy and doing it yourself tho 👌💪

I'm amazed there are fluids and electrics so close it should be one side for fluids and the other for electrical surely 🤔.

Hey, well done. If you take the screws out of the top of your old pump, you'll get to the diaphragm. They're easy enough to change and a new one should only be a couple of quid, then you've got a spare pump.

Well done.. I have just had to replace mine.
Brilliant, just a small note you wrapped the PTFE tape around the wrong way. No big deal though but you need to be aware. there is a right and a not so right way
The PTFE tape should run clockwise on a standard thread (screw/ bolt). When you tighten the nut, the PTFE tape will 'tighten' instead of wanting to unravel.

The white tape is commonly known as PTFE tape sold at most hardware and DIY stores - well done on that job mate

Keep old pump,believe there is diaphragm kit available cheaper than new pump. Yes again wrap Teflon right way or leaks may happen!!

Swapping pumps is an easy job to be fair.
