The jack handle on a land rover is going to be the most worn out part! Probably the only bit that is engineered properly. They knew how much the jack would be needed. Plus, anything that is used under a land rover will never rust. All the oil leaks make sure of that! Good stuff Roothy.
Good call on the coolant too. I did a change not long ago. The coolant bottle said that it could be used with tap water and I was dumb enough to believe it. I now have a radiator full of silt and scale! Premix all the way.
love the 12ht best motor built the last of the 47s had the 75s chassis gearbox power str an 5speed with air ..love the old shape has dinosaur feel to it Roothy u big kid even the mutts were happy as way to go
Tough dogs those two Roothy, roundin up Tojos like that, good thing they didn't try to nose the beast. Do me a favour champ and throw some safety glasses on when you pick up a hammer or use that grinder or any other power tool for that matter. You'll find it hard to drive those tight tracks with one eye and no depth perception, look after those young fellas as well. Cheers Mate.🍻
Shane Pattison the safety glasses is easy fixed I'm in my fifties and wear glasses for everything but sleeping just pay the extra for safety lenses and its sorted. I have been a heavy equipment fitter for 30 years and have had 3 workmates die on the job in that time, none were idiots. Have also seen 2 blokes lose sight in one eye from power tools used by someone else, thus my advice for Roothy to set an example and look after his young fellas. Cheers mate.🍻
Used own 40 series tray back ute myself with a 350 Chev love to get hold of another one for a rebuild looks like yours is gonna be a real Beast there roothy
Hey John. I don't think you should call the truck Milo 2. It maybe wise to call it OMO after the washing powder. Green for Milo, Blue for Omo washing powder. Its marvelous what a difference Milo Makes but OMO is the next generation. Cheers

Hello I am a member of the forum and I am looking for what is new about my car . I live in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia , and I have a Land Cruiser from the series FJ40 and I already have a 12 HT engine . I want to convert my engine from 2F to 12HT . And i need to know What are the tools required to convert it . Although I have the installation rules for the engine 12HT and if there are any additional pieces so I can install it correctly . Whats the other tools or equipment that I need for the converting . And Are there other obstacles to avoid in order to get the full adjustment . I need your help seriously . I would like to thank you for your cooperation . Abdullmunem T Bokheder
