It takes a certain kind of person to do this line of work. With much respect, you are one of them. Amazing attention to detail and kudos on the well done instructional video without voice. Your showing is leaps and bounds more effective than most others showing AND telling. Simple, to the point video, and I didn't need some jazzy background beat to keep me watching. Your skill was entertaining enough. Many thanks.
I watched this video 3 years ago and said this is great... 3 years later and trying, buying and crying to do it, I resubmit you're great for, AMAZING, You have it all... Thank you for your exceptionalism in a craft EVERY MAN desires!

Your quality of work is absolutely amazing. I have never seen anything like it before. You are beyond professional. I so appreciate your videos because I now know what I'm looking at and learning IS the professional way. Thank you so much. You do work I'd never even attempt -- like covering a teapot in leather and it is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you again.
Thanks for showing many tricks, like splaying the flaps apart on the underside when working the cover over the foam. Wish I had an industrial sewing machine like that.
Top job amigo. We can tell you are an experienced professional. The old seat on my van is cactus & I cant buy a second hand one anywhere. It costs more than the van is worth, to get it done here in Australia, so I am watching to see if I can do it myself, It is valuable to have your video to refer to. Thank you
*Saludos!*

Yeah, a lot of people just do that. For some reason, I had the idea that he made the cover with different panels than the original. If true, that's probably why he just started over and made his own pattern. Different panels, with seams in different places.

It would be very difficult to assert which batting is the best. In the past it was used horse hair and natural cotton and those were excellent for cars and furniture. Things changed then to another kind of products such as natural coconut fibers, synthetic cotton, and polyurethane foams, etc. which are mostly used nowadays. Injected molding foams are used in current cars and most of them last long and work out perfectly.
Wow you are exceptional. I could watch your work all day. Do you sew other things other than car seats? What country are you in? I would love to see more.

Wow!........if I may ask, is that plate mounted to the deck next to the presser foot of the sewing machine really important ? I have the exact same pfaff sewing machine that was my dad’s! I learned the profession as a teenager and now since COVID, I’m looking to do a few jobs! The reason why I asked is because my dad never used that metal guide. Really impressive quality of workmanship!!!!
The 'household plate' on the right side is adjustable and very useful as a 'seam guide' to get different measures. It could be 1 cm, 1/2", etc. according to given seam allownace. I never used it in the past and tried to get the distance 'by eye' using the side of presser foot as a 'guide'. But not all of us have the same ability and it is necessary to resort to these attachments in order to get a better outcome. In this video I show the use of these attachments to improve our sewing process: ruclips.net/video/8AT5qDjwMsY/видео.html
