      @@korrialexis7516 This is the same seat on a full complete course:ruclips.net/video/G86Km3xUtBU/видео.html
      As for the machine I would recommend a walking foot sewing machine: Pfaff, Adler, Juuki, Consew, Singer, Brother, etc.
      For a better idea an hopefully can get some assessment:

    It takes a certain kind of person to do this line of work. With much respect, you are one of them. Amazing attention to detail and kudos on the well done instructional video without voice. Your showing is leaps and bounds more effective than most others showing AND telling. Simple, to the point video, and I didn't need some jazzy background beat to keep me watching. Your skill was entertaining enough. Many thanks.

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  6 лет назад +4

      Aunque no parezca, pero si es un diseño básico para tapizar un asiento de carro. Solamente hemos usado para unir las piezas un solo tipo de 'costura básica de cierre' o 'costura ciega' como lo llaman algunos. No hay acolchonados en la parte superior, no hay 'vivo' no hay 'sobrecostura', no hay dobles costuras, etc.
      ¡Muchas gracias por apreciar este trabajo!

      La mayoría de mis videos son educativos; por tal motivo estan hechos de manera lenta para poder entender los pasos. Este video 1 que acaba de ver es una de las maneras mas simples de hacer una funda para asiento de carro. El método de moldear las piezas es práctico y se hace sobre la espuma con el material que se va a forrar. A esta funda básica se le puede agregar otras costuras y/o acolchonados que los podemos ver en otros videos. Ya cada quien puede hacerlo por cuenta propia.

    Hi, what is the best batting for cloth seats? I am replacing my old, 96 Lexus ES300 leather interior with Toyota upholstery. Excellent work, you do.

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  3 года назад +1

      It would be very difficult to assert which batting is the best. In the past it was used horse hair and natural cotton and those were excellent for cars and furniture.
      Things changed then to another kind of products such as natural coconut fibers, synthetic cotton, and polyurethane foams,etc. which are mostly used nowadays.
      Injected molding foams are used in current cars and most of them last long and work out perfectly.

    Wow!........if I may ask, is that plate mounted to the deck next to the presser foot of the sewing machine really important ? I have the exact same pfaff sewing machine that was my dad’s! I learned the profession as a teenager and now since COVID, I’m looking to do a few jobs! The reason why I asked is because my dad never used that metal guide.
    Really impressive quality of workmanship!!!!

      The 'household plate' on the right side is adjustable and very useful as a 'seam guide' to get different measures. It could be 1 cm, 1/2", etc. according to given seam allownace.
      I never used it in the past and tried to get the distance 'by eye' using the side of presser foot as a 'guide'. But not all of us have the same ability and it is necessary to resort to these attachments in order to get a better outcome.
      In this video I show the use of these attachments to improve our sewing process:
