- I'm getting excited about spring coming, so I couldn't resist reviving this old craft I did as a child. Learn how to make DIY flower pens! They're so easy and pretty, and make a gorgeous flower pen bouquet. I used some old ugly pens I had lying around the house, and a few inexpensive supplies.

Thank you for answering our questions, Some people don't. I have been searching for someone who does answer. 👍🌺 Who would ever think it would be Soo hard to get a pen top off ? Gosh ? I don't even know if plyers would help, I don't have a pair. Funny when we were younger we always took them off for no reason, just for the fun of it I guess Now I can't get it off at all ! It's so flat inside the pen ,that it's very hard to get Leverage at all, I never experienced this before 🤔😒 I was determined to make at least one or two, tonight 🙏🙏🙏🌻

The Scissors worked on the cheep version of a Bic, but they don't write good . But Cap on the real Bic couldn't be taken off with scissors because it was too flat inside the pen. I tried & tried, it was just shredding to top of the cap . Maybe. I'll try the Clicker style one. Thanks for your advice
What kind of flower is that is so pretty
Very Pretty. I just bought all the supplies to make these. I got bic clear blue pens, I am having a very hard time getting the Cap off the top, I tried to pry it off & could not., Then I tried to Pry it off with a knife it didn't work either. The Cap is very even & flat inside the pen. If you have any suggestions to help that would be great ! ! Thank You
You glue the flower on before the tape.
M. Castel I’m sure it would be fine to do it either way. For the pen without the clicking mechanism I prefer to put the tape on the pen first so there’s nothing in the way and I can be sure the tape gets all the way to the top of the pen. If you have a pen with the clicking mechanism it would certainly work to glue the flower to the pen before you begin wrapping the tape. I find it works fine without doing so, but it would be more secure if you did.
My adhesive tape is sticky, did I do something wrong? TIA
No when you use floral tape correctly you pull it slightly and that "activates" it and makes it sticky

How to do the fluffy flower
a dollar store or dollar tree, I get my flowers from dollar tree and use wire pliers to cut them off the bunch
Can I use glitter fabric roll?
Not unless it is glitter floral tape. The floral tape is slightly tacky and when it stretches it clings to itself in a unique way.
yes you can, you will just have to use glue or some other adhesive for it to adhere to the pen and seal it of when you're finished
