2 Women Break in to Restaurant and Try to Make Dumplings

- A surveillance camera captured a very unusual break-in. Two young ladies allegedly snuck into a Chinese restaurant after closing time and tried to fry up a meal of dumplings before leaving with a bag of the doughy treats. The manager of the New York City restaurant says he's planning on upgrading security at the shop, and that he received both an apology and $150 from the intruders, but is not yet satisfied. #InsideEdition
The ladies did wrong. However, better to find out your restaurant faults from silly crime rather than malicious crime
Very true! It definitely could’ve been WAY worse for the owners if a true criminal came in.
The girls (they did not behave like women) should have to wash dishes for a month at the restaurant, and more if equipment was left dirty or damaged.
A power failure isn't something the restaurant can be faulted for, but I get your point.

@@Pasadena14 yeah buuuuut I think it counts as trespassing and theft because they walked in and stole property which were the dumplings.

Lol it's like the automatic paper towel machine of locked doors, dude doesn't need to upgrade his security he needs to downgrade back to the Ole reliable hard key

999th like 😁
It's called failing safely instead of failing secure. It's not high security like a bank. In case of emergency; electronic locks have to loose power in order for people to flee to safety instead of being trapped inside. Their electric locks either suffered a short or the battery they had powering them died. It happens.
@@adambrown3918 I am aware of fail safe Vs fail secure such as in the event of a fire. But to my knowledge there is usually an alternative system often mechanical to bypass the system eg many electronic safes have both an electronic keypad and a mechanical lock to open the safe door in case the electronic lock fails due to lack of power for example.

They did something stupid and could have cost him thousands if they made any mistakes. But i applaud them for reaching out, obviously they did it so they wouldn't serve jail time🙄
You wouldn't?
@@cerebrxll6064 wouldn't what?
@@cerebrxll6064 i don't see myself reaching out because i wouldn't put myself in this situation. But all seriousness aside it is kinda funny. Gotta make something fun out of life some how.🥴
Its shocking that they weren't arrested for breaking into the restaurant. If it was men then they would get arrested by police.
Not necessarily. It depends on the restaurant. The guy didn't press charges cause nothing was broken. The girls paid him back and apologized. I'm sure he would've treated 2 drunk dudes the same way as long as they paid him back and Apologized.
They definitely went to court and where like "im sorry your honor but im a pisces"🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha 😂🤣😅
What's a picese? Do mean 'pisces'?

How about some jail time for breaking and entering. Guarantee you if they were 2 black men they'd be behind bars right now. Disgusting.
If their dumpling is good, they get a pass.
Looks like frozen and pre ordered 💁♀️
Good chicks at least they had the decency to apologise and they actually seem genuinely wasted and honest
They need a little jail time. When you start letting these things slip it becomes a free-for-all . They knew better.
agreed.
Jesus jail time even after apologizing and paying $150 for the entire incident yet he still won’t forgive them until they make the apology public? How can any of you enjoy life with a broom up your ass
Clearly criminals that deserve jail time

@@asianboi000001 fr. They seemed really high and there was no harm done, so I don’t think they need jail time.
They should be charged with breaking and entering, stealing food, and should pay the amount that they did the damage.
They should serve time!
They paid 150 dollars im pretty syre thats more than enough to cover dumplings
But they didn't break in, they opened the door and walked in...probably looking to be served food, but too drunk to care when they realized the place was empty.

I find this hilarious, but I understand the owners’ very serious feelings about it lol. While no harm is done, and wasn’t intended from the start, it could have gone so badly. I worked in Chinese restaurant when I was younger. I had the keys and closed the shop, but 30 min later, I had to turn back bcs I forgot to do something. Came back to broken glass and SOMEONE was rushing out the back door. Days later, kid’s dad came in with the kid to apologize. But here’s the thing, the kid was not a kid in my eyes. He’s 6’2” and looked 25. He could have killed me. Or I could have killed him in a fight or flight response.
6'5? It was probably one of those Japanese anime main characters. You were probably witnessing their introduction before they turned their life around and started fighting bad guys.
The fact that people find this funny is disgusting bro *STEALING AINT CUTE*
Well they didn’t pay for it after they left they probably were really intoxicated and did not know what they were doing but they apologized to the owner and payed 150 for uncooked dumpling that cost way less than that but the owner wants them to apologize publicly……
Seems like he wants an advertisement..
but this is considered burglary
The amount of people excusing their actions is absolutely disgusting
Walking in was probably an honest mistake because the door was left open.
Well they paid for it…
@@Gisella16 how about I break into your house and steal your pet and then when I get caught I’ll just “pay for it”
The amount of retards acting like the owner wasnt responsible for leaving his restaurant open and still getting paid 150 for cold dumplings, is OUTSTANDINGLY irresponsible.
@@LambGoatSoup yea but leaving the door open and being irresponsible isn’t a crime. However trespassing is a crime… see a difference yet?
At least of all people it was just two drunk girls who stole a small bag of dumplings, it could have been a whole burglary but it was just this thankfully.
Kinda reminded me of when bears get into people's homes and help themselves to everything

Keep in mind they only reached out to apologize after seeing themselves all over social media. I highly doubt they did so because they were genuinely sorry for their actions.
For all we know they could’ve been blackout drunk & not remember a thing from that night and finally saw themselves on the news lmao
Yeah I think it's stupid that the owner wants a public apology.. they didnt break anything but steal the dumplings and they came back apologize and pay back more then what those dumplings cost lol not to mention they were uncooked
They also didn’t have to reach out but they did
