- What was supposed to be a relaxing post-pandemic cruise led to a passenger's meltdown after the cruise line said she tested positive for COVID-19. In a video that went viral, the unvaccinated passenger rants as a team in full hazmat gear escorts her off the cruise ship. "I was angry, I was infuriated," the passenger told Inside Edition, saying that she doesn't believe the positive results were accurate. #InsideEdition
The cruise line was following protocol. They did everything right.

@@klutzycutie It could be a false positive but being on a cruise ship you can't take that chance of an outbreak (being out in the middle of the sea...possible hundreds of passengers infected 🙄). Also what this woman fails to realize is that you CAN still test positive 3 months or 4 months post infection. She could have caught a strain of the virus that her body hasn't completely shed or she could be a long haul asymptomatic (showing no symptoms) carrier.
I can understand getting upset but they were refunding her money and giving her 100% off a future cruise.

Why did they offer her a free cruise? She's already getting a refund. She violated the rules, lied about it and put others' health at risk when she KNEW she had tested positive, then created chaos with her disorderly conduct for which she should have been arrested like anyone else who acts like that in public. If anything she should have to pay a fine, apologize for her insane behavior and for putting her the crew and her fellow passengers at risk, not get a free trip as a reward for her dishonesty and lunacy.

Yeah I will never understand rewarding people who misbehave. It even goes for kids too. I knew someone who worked at target who was encouraged to give screaming kids a bag of popcorn basically to shut them up ! They refused because why reward a tantrum?! Especially in this case where she is potentially risking other people's lives. Like if this were an airline she'd be banned, no encouraged to come back. You can get Covid more than once. Reinfection is rare but it's possible. She was being way too dramatic. She needs to chill, the cruise even offered her a full refund and a promise for a future trip.

Reinfection isn’t all THAT rare. I have seen multiple people reinfected after a few months.
@@PollyannaXdoll you're correct. It is a virus that anyone can catch multiple times-recurring just like any virus. Also it will mutate into various strains just like (for example) the flu- virus does. I'm not comparing it to the flu, it just mutates like any other virus does. Just because this woman doesn't appear or feel sick doesn't mean she isn't a carrier of the virus. The vaccine doesn't prevent people from catching the virus, it just makes the virus less harsh on the person and cuts their time of being sick down from say 7-14 days to a lesser time of showing outward symptoms and makes the symptoms less harsh on the carrier. The vaccine is not a cure! A person can catch any virus or disease that they're vaccinated for. It just makes their survival rate higher than if they weren't vaccinated.

I had Covid in December and my mom, the doctor told her once you get the antibodies make you immune for at least 6 months. The media is all hype and wrong. If you have had covid your literally part of heard immunity. Look it up the doctor was right.

The cruise line was kind to give her a refund and a voucher for a future cruise. They could have decided to ban her for making a fuss onboard the cruise line.
Kind? They ruined their vacation. They screwed up and put them in the vaccinated section when on their papers it clearly said unvaccinated. When they realized their mistake, they isolate them and test them. Then it says positive so they send them home. Meanwhile. Multiple tests come back negative for covid: the cruise line screwed up big time!
