Love the fact that the other passengers were rooting them on. Then cheering when they rounded the corner! That was quite a long run. They were in shape! Especially when running in flip flops!

Oh I’m getting left behind for sure for sure. I’m 4ft 9…1 normal human step = at least 3 for me haha. I’ve wanted to go on a cruise for the longest time but I can’t swim, have a fear of falling in the ocean and to help that I’ve watched probably every cruise ship tragedy here on YT. Haha.

They usually can't, most the places they port to restrict their ability to move based off the tide of the water so waiting much longer can prevent the ship from leaving altogether.

I don't think I've ever been in Cozumel where the ship left on time, because there are excursions to the mainland that get delayed by the ferry, and they have to wait for their own excursions. Also, if something it out of your control, they'll do the best to accommodate as well, as long as they know about it. If you call the port agent and explain that your taxi cab got a flat tire, and you are running a few minutes behind, they aren't going to leave you. If you got wasted and fell asleep on the beach, and they can't get ahold of you, then you'll probably get left behind.
This is why I hate cruises.. not trying to just spend the day in the lame resort towns then get herded like sheep back to the ship.. I’d rather fly to a destination and spend a week on the ground getting a feel for my surroundings and what the destination has to offer.. lots of fun places to check out in the Yucatán.. obviously your in Mexico though so you have to be careful.. My cousin was in Cancun recently and had his IDENTITY and credit cards stolen along with his wallet and passport.. Homie had to spend days at the US consulate down there so he could get a duplicate passport so he could go home on another flight.. absolute chaos down there 😅.. I tend to stick more towards playa del Carmen and Cozumel more.. way more quiet and not as bustling as Cancun.. I’ve been to the Yucatán twice.. once in December 2012 on a cruise and once in august of 2013 on a vacation.. some of the best days of my life!! ❤🌴🍹

We've been to Cozumel so much that watching pier runners is the highlight. It never fails. You are told verbally, there are signs everywhere so it's 100% on the runners.
We don’t get it either, lol. But we love watching them run!
That is sad, I love specialty dining when the ship pulls out of port. Having this display of drunk, uncultured people be the highlight of your vacation is quite a disappointment

Conzumel is beautiful! BUT my family and I most DEFINITELY made sure to head back to the ship an hour before it set sail to the next stop. 😅 They are not joking when they say they will leave you!!!

I only take a private jet to Cancun and then rent a car and take the car ferry to Cozumel. The locals on the ferry look at me as if I have two heads but I don't are.
Was on a coach trip the other day on my cruise and I looked at the chair behind me and thought I’m sure there were people behind me turns out there were two of the passengers left behind the previous place we left - but the kind coach driver actually drove back to collect them which was nice to see
That is true talent and dedication right there. I can’t even walk 5 minutes in flip flops without getting a red sore between my toes. One can only imagine the hard training and pushing through the pain barrier that goes into this😊

Отдых удался!!!! Шоппинг+бег с утяжелением (попробуйте бежать в шлёпанцах)+группа поддержки+ адреналин! И вот -фигура и ножки загляденье!!!❤❤❤
Однажды, так же бежали по аэропорту Барселоны к Аэрбасу, когда наши фамилии объявили по громкой связи🤪🤭. А аэропорт, у них там, как футбольный стадион😮 Испанские сотрудники, сочувственно, качали головой и показывали нам направление куда бежать😅. Финальным призом забега, была возможность сэкономить на покупке авиабилетов🎉🎉
За то, кардиган и пиджак, купленные в магазине аэропорта, носил с удовольствием несколько лет😂

Mr. Sanchos was the WORST part of our trip they scammed us stole our money and we got so sick it ruined our entire cruise! We paid for a beach cabana and champagne and nothing was ready we paid for wave runners that were broke down

That happened to me in Puerto Rico. I was dancing in a nightclub and forgot all about my 11pm departure. I had about 20 min to run through the streets of Puerto Rico, and the crew was just starting to raise the gang plank when I arrived. I made it by seconds, or would have had to catch a helecopter to the next stop.

Always assume the ship will leave 30 minutes before the estimated docking time expires. Set alarms on your phones and or don’t go too far.

Yes. My 18 year old daughter is a mini me and her mother wears flip flops all year round and has since she was 18 years old. She too wears flip flops all year round. We know how to run well in them 😂 also, I would be scared to death to be left in another country with no way of getting back home, so I'd just simply have better time management but I could absolutely run perfectly fine in flip flops if needed 🙂🙃😉
