I recently started rewatching since I dropped it before Shaman King 2021 has been dealt such hate it doesn't deserve surely it has some flaws but like any other shounen It has Such Good writing And profound messages that can motivate anyone Irl. I feel like Shaman King 2021 deserves some Love😢 I was happy when I saw this video cuz u were the only one on youtube who isn't badmouthing and blatantly hating on this remake, Idk what's wrong with youtubers they tend to hate anything that doesn't resemble their stupid nostalgia that's wrong 😢
I would not say others are stupid for having other opinions . Also i am trying to be as objective i can with this videos , even tho , i am human so for sure there is gonna be some subjectivity in my scripts . Thats why i try to show when i am jubjective and dont put an 100% opinion on the animes , but to show mine and talk with you and other people to can see what others belive about it and why they have this opinions . In my case , the difference between the 2 was not really huge , but i prefer the 2021 , so the remake , because is closer to manga and we can have rest of the story , something that would not be posible with the original . Thats also why i also said in the video some offer that grade also based on nostalgia . And last , ty for sharing your opinion with the rest of us .
Well i just watched the 2021 version, but tbh i still prefer the 2001 ver 😏 Ngl the new one has better ending and cameo + screentime to minor characters but the story is messed up, everything's good until they did the dead, revive, repeat, it's just speedrun all the wat to the ending 🤣 The old one has many fillers and make the og ending, but the plot is more simple, no nonsense betrayal & killing spree in 1eps, no shaman vs battleship 😗 & etc

And about the speed of the story , from my point , that was not the case , i understand that for others can be a different opinion , as i said in the video and you proofed to me , but taking in account the manga , the more acurate one and also better for me . But both are a good anime to watch , so i respect your opinon , even more when you offered me so many details .
2001 version had too many fillers that didn't have nothing to do with the manga while the 2021 seems to be a little m more faithful to the source material and has a much more darker tone then it's predecessor.
2001 version , not just had fillers , the the end of the story is not even close in being similar , the ends are totally diffrent . And yea , the remake was made to have the story as in the manga , for them to can continue with the next part of the story , Shaman King Flowers . Ty for your opinion and i am waiting you for the next video .

Shaman kings is a major disappointment imo. It starts well, but the end is bizarre in an unpleasant way and it becomes harder and harder to take it seriously. The character designs and the tone make it hard to deferintiate the comedy parts from the serious shonen aspects. It has so much potential and loveable characters, but around the end, the author really dropped the ball.
First of all, thank you for your opinion and for sharing it with us, second , yea , i can see your point , but for me , someone who watched close to over 300 anime and reading over 100 ,close to 200 manga/manhwa/manhua/etc . Is obvious for me there are gonna be moments when things are gonna be repeted , even more when we talk about shonen , or even pure shonen shows . But for me was not really as bad as was for you , maybe because i watched the first one when i was a kid or maybe who knows , but again thank you for telling your opinion .

I am glad to hear i am not the only one who liked the remake. I watched the original when i was younger , thats the reason some times nostalgia and also the OP of Shaman King kicks in . But after i watched the remake when was released , i like the remake a little more . Maybe you can let me know more about your full opinions you have about both .

never watched the first one fully but i did watch the newer one to the end, and i think its quite nice. i liked it.
