Thanks man, I just made some dip bars and a pull up bar (I'm a welder and had most of the steel laying around) and I'm trying to get in shape using calisthenics before I move to weights if I do at all
I once did 5 pushups for 2-3 months everyday because im afraid that one day ill lose my ability to do pushups but then later i moved to weights and got even bigger. You should start calisthenics first before going to lift and also use some basic calisthenics exercise as your warmup before lifting.
I have done these from the program that you have in the AppStore and my arms were so sore during my run yesterday and it felt amazing! Thanks for these workouts they help out a lot!
My personal favourite is a properly performed pull up. Pull up is one of the best exercises for your back in general, and if done with proper technique, actively engages your rear delts. The second favourite is the flys, it's more isolated.
Actually facepulls aren't supposed to look like that, your hands should always be travelling further behind your body than your elbows, or it's not a facepull anymore

I'm sure Heria knows how to do facepulls, but whether it was because of the bar being in the way or him not executing the exercise properly, what he demonstrated wasn't a movement that emphasized external shoulder rotation, which is the point of facepulls.
