What does this mean for network rendering? Does that mean we don't need extra licenses for the other PCs that we're using Team Render on? It really should be like it used to be, unlimited render nodes.
I have c4d 2025, but I can't figure out how to get the Redshift working. I have c4d 2024 and Redshift also installed; maybe that is making a conflict? I read that it should be OK. How can I force Redshift to work in 2025? I even installed the latest Redshift separately from the MAXON website, but it still won't show up in c4d 2025.
@@effectatron When I go to the render settings, it says "Standard, Physical and Viewport Renderer". There is no Redshift. I have the latest maxon app and redshift is not there. C4D and some other stuff is there though. But, I know Redshift is installed because I installed it again and it is in the start menu and also the uninstall Resdhift shortcut is there and I can run it. C4D just refuses to "see" Redshift. I think I am going to email Maxon. Thank you for responding!!! Thanks for the video too!!! edit: In the meantime, is the Physical, or Standard renderer OK? Quality-wise? I have to render some stuff this weekend and this is kind of a major setback. Thanks!
@@effectatron Yes. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything and then, C4D is at least showing Redshift. But, it says the license is corrupted when I try to render. So, I uninstalled everything again, and tried doing it as the 14 day free trial just to see what would happen, same problem. Something somewhere is broken. I have C4D 2024 still installed, and had different versions of the Max app and finally the latest Max app. I also had several other renderers installed (not for C4D 2025). This is sucking up so much time.
@@effectatronI think it means you’re not impacted until your current subscription expires, at which point you won’t need to renew your redshift subscription, just c4d (except you want to have the standalone redshift or need to use redshift with other programs)

Idk be a good question for maxon support. They are pretty good at responding.
How to get full redshift? I still have only CPU version in 2025 :(
Did you update it in the Maxon App? Website says it's included.

Redshift is on by default. Open the render settings and make sure it says redshift top left.
Also make sure to use the maxon app

Every subscription of Cinema 4D now includes access to Redshift GPU upon RENEWAL.
