Wow!! Thank you very much for your support Ducky, It truly means a lot to me ❤ I wish you a fulfilling year! and the same for everyone who wants to be part of this Blender journey and community 💪
Joey Carlino's 'Modeling in Blender for complete beginners' is the most underrated video for people starting out in blender. I've done several beginnger projects and this one has been my favorite.
That was a great list! I decided to learn Blender in August, started with CGFastrack Sword Tutorial and Polygon Runway videos. They teached me the fundamentals of modeling and a few months down the line i started creating my own RUclips modeling videos! Thank you all for posting this stuff for free!
Awesome. This is exactly what I, as a beginner, have been creating for months and you come up with it in a very professional way. I didn't know some of the names, and I share many of the same sources. Thank you. I would add CG Essentials and Brandon 3D, as Brandons Tutorials are always perfect on point. Important work you did, as in various areas, many people forget to create a large, super rough overall overview. Something very useful for disoriented beginners. This video is extremely helpful. Big Thanks to you and all the helpfull Channels. You Guys are amazing! oh, and all of us. Let's donate to Blender to keep it growing. it just took me 1 minute to do and it feels great. :)
@@Brandon-3D As he mentioned, there are a lot of very good Blender channels, but he chose a few that are good to mention just for a specific topic. Impossible to name all the good ones. I had to ad you, as you are very good and more specialized in making all different tutorials extremely short, clear and well structured in a great logical way. I would be happy if my comment helps a few more people to find your channel, because it is extremely good. Thank you for your great work. Unfortunately, I don't have the financial means to give you guys a tip at the moment. But at least now I've donated something to Blender. Blender and the Community around it is amazing !
Purchased the Car series on your recommendation. There are some great modeling tutorials out there but this is by far the best. I wish I had taken the plunge sooner with this course. I would be much further along with my Blender journey than I am now. Thanks Ducky!
I saved this video in my watch list and I just realized that I had saved your 2024 video also. But I did not start on blender until pretty recently. So glad that finally I will make use if what I learnt in this video atleast😊
I definitely want to get into blender. I’m a college student learning Maya but I feel like I’ll have more fun with Blender. I’m nervous finding a job so hopefully things will work out 🥲
I personally don't find Josh's channel ideal for beginners. He often uses complicated and paid add-ons, which I think can be a bit overwhelming for those just starting out. Many of the tasks these add-ons handle can actually be done directly within Blender itself. Plus, his videos are generally not beginner-friendly, so it's better to focus on learning the basics of Blender first before investing in any add-ons. The 3D Cars course by CG Masters is absolutely AMAZING! It’s the only paid course I’ve taken, and it was worth every dollar-highly recommended! I like all the channels mentioned here, but I miss Aryan for hard-surface modeling... and Joey Carlino for geometry node and other stuff. By the way, Xan3D is a real gem-such an incredible channel! One thing I feel is missing, though, is a category focused more on 2D within Blender, especially videos for anime-style work. And another good category would be archviz... I really like hbitproject channel. Personally, seeing him model totally changed my workflow.
I know I'm blanking on some recommendations doing this on the fly, but Dikko, LewizArt, FlyCat and DannyMac has some pretty great character modeling, SpeedChar for sculpting, and Robin Squares and Christopher 3D both are great for getting into the weeds with how basic things like materials and lighting work, Mr Forke, ComfeeMug(?), Stylized Station and Dillon Goo for non-photorealistic concepts Also not directly Blender but J Hill's neat for general char creation process, and I'm def blanking on a few channels that had solid stuff, just love that there is so much talent to pull from
Thank you so much for the recommendations. My primary interests are Grease Pencil and Compositing (what you refer to as VFX). VFX is why I became interested in Blender, and for that matter, computers, many, many, many years ago. And I don't feel the capabilities of Grease Pencil have been deeply explored yet. Maybe I should start a channel.
This is excellent timing. I launched into freelance video creation in 2024. Most of my work is editing and AE motion graphics. I’m ready to invest time and money into expanding my motion graphics into blender.
Well shit, if you're investing money.... Don't forget to donate to Blender! It may be free, but it still needs funding in order to keep getting better.
The best way to learn Blender is that u have got to treat it like your friend. Friendship is free yet you do something for each other. Don't forget to donate every once in a while.. Happy 2025
Once you feel in a intermediate level id recommend watch other softwares tutorial, like modeling in maya or c4d, not to learn that software but to learn the workflow
Is NOTION graphics intentional or just a typo? I love Notion but it's a different story. Anyways, thanks much for your continued effort to bring us quality Blender content and massive tutorials. Best of luck in 2025.
Just a small suggestion, when you say things like "geometry nodes", please add a small clip or image to explain what those are for a few seconds. I'm new to blender, so I clicked this video. I'm not at all clear as to some of the terms used here. Nevertheless, thanks, I will venture out with this info in mind.
maybe i'm having an insane dejavu moment, is this a re-upload of a video you did a few days ago? i swear i watched this last week, even the top comment being ryan king thanking you for the shout out.....
Great list thanks! I’m pretty new to blender but I’d add @harryblends - his geometry nodes explainer was the moment it finally all made make sense for me
Thanks for the shout-out!

i love how much more comfortable u got in front of the camera:) I watch u since over 2 years, excellent work!

I would say Zach at CG Boost is another one that is absolutely excellent.
