I've been learning Blender as a C4D user, there's a lot of nice features in blender that I like but sometimes I'm quite surprised of how hard to make something in blender that you can make easily on C4D with just few clicks. there are also some problems that is huge in Blender but are pretty minor in Cinema 4D like double vertices, faces, flipped normals, Scale problem and default PSR. blender is not so intuitive especially for beginners not to mention the very confusing shortcuts
Your video is interesting, I use both! 🔥 And I can say Blender for modeling, uv, add-ons fosure makes my life easier. It’s not an uncommon thing to use two different softwares for different purposes, especially if one is free. I’d recommend blender for modelling capabilities and motion graphics in C4D, however I’d suggest starting with blender in general and once you’re ready to move forward try C4D!
As of 2023, Blender was reported to have 3+ million downloads annually, with the Blender Foundation estimating an active user base of over 2.5 million users globally. Cinema 4D likely has a more niche user base, estimated at around 300,000 to 400,000 users, largely concentrated in the professional design and motion graphics industries. Freelancer, save money use Blender, if you're a pro 3D designer, the results will be stunning as 4D cinema.
