This almost happened to me a few months ago. Chatted with a girl on POF that eventually moved to WhatsApp. Luckily I caught on to her scam before she started asking for money. But her gimmick was basically that she was a Marine currently deployed over in Japan. And each time I tried to video chat with her, she always had an excuse like she had to "preserve" her minutes in case of emergencies. The biggest tip off was her sending me a picture of her lunch. Didn't know they had Whataburger....IN JAPAN!!! These people are sociopaths and deserve to get beaten with a sock full of nickels.

*FBI:* "There's not much we can do to identify the perpetrators." *Pleasant Green:* Gets name, location, photo of guy's face, FB account, phone number, and text records proving the scam Ok....why do I pay taxes again?
Well sure, we COULD use the story, in righteous indignation, to let the FBI know how dum they are….(I know I don't trust them anyway), perhaps even cut their funding (tax cuts are popular) …. OR, we can encourage IMPROVEMENT! and hook them up with "our man" to learn :)
The FBI is trash. So are local authorities. They are so incompetent at their jobs. They are more political in nature. It turns out they will not give a fuck. Even when an actual head of state contacts you. They look away indifferently. Especially if these foreigners made a deal to previously contact you first of all things through the USA federal government.

I still don't understand how anyone falls for these scams, never send anyone money, it's that simple. I came across this "girl" from "London" who said she wants a sugar daddy, I lived a good 3 hours away, she said not that far, she wanted to come over but didn't have enough money for petrol, said she needed £22 or so, I messed about with the scammer for ages, then said oh I got a place to go that we can meet about halfway, then she said she didn't know and that well if you don't wanna meet up and blah blah blah. Clearly a scam basically.
I was once almost scammed by a "girl" who claimed to be in Russia. What made it so convincing for me is that I had been on a Russian dating site and I spoke Russian. She used to send me pictures, etc. I finally had the good sense to do a Google image search and the pics were of a Russian model. My first thought was "Wow. She's a model!" But then I started putting two and two together. I sent her emails in Russian, to let her know I spoke Russian. She always answered back in English and never directly answered what was in my emails. Then she told me she was getting a ticket to fly over to see me but didn't have the money. Could I please send her the money via Western Union. Then, I understood. "She" never got the money. I never got the girl.

He was clearly depressed and thought being loved would help that. He clearly needs a therapist to work thru his demons, but when you are vulnerable and weak you ignore the red flags. He was desperate to find love or happiness.
Honk Honkler so bc he was depressed and suicidal he is now nuts and going to shoot up a school?? That makes NO sense. He didn’t want to hurt anyone, he wanted to end his own life. He needs therapy for his inner demons. But that doesn’t mean he’s a danger to others. People who are suicidal aren’t homicidal (most of the time, and he clearly wasn’t in this case). He probably saw this video and reads comments, why would you talk like that about someone who clearly has mental illness and is already vulnerable?
We need more immeasurably wise and compassionate humans like you on this planet. Thank you for sharing *sentinel Recover* , James. I bet I'm not alone when I say this video found me at the perfect moment, and there are a lot of things here that I needed to hear right now.

I knew some thing was off when he wanted to speak to us and his screen saver was a green Camaro that was photo shopped. Ended up saving her

This sickens me that some people exploit romance on the internet, especially since I met my girlfriend online so it makes me sad that people are screwed over stuff like that
I just had a random thought -
have you seen videos from the Jim Browning channel on RUclips? That channel showcases computer-based scams that come from India.
I wonder if you guys can do some type of collaboration ... That makes me excited!!!
This channel and Jim Browning's are my 2 favorites!

I was thinking the same thing the whole time I was watching the video! And then PG apparently gave him the money from the ads and is taking PayPal donations for “Sean.” 😂 I almost believed it up until that caps lock ranting of him being suicidal and having a gun to his head craziness started. Then I was like.... yeah, I’m betting he’s a scammer himself.
I would bet money that was the case. I thought that right off the top
Even so, PG still helped him out and probably helped him get a better job regardless. Most scammers are scammers because of necessity, not scammers because they legitimately like doing the job.

Why wouldn’t you use tinyurl to hide the grabify link? At some point you’re gonna get caught by the scammer and won’t get their ip.
Edit: Most scammers aren’t this smart, but some smart ones also might block grabify on their network to avoid stuff like this.
If you did that Tinyurl will still to redirect to Grabify, so if its blocked it still wont grab his ip.
SLASHnumbers224DOTexeSLASH yes I know but the tinyurl link will trick most scammers if they know about grabify already. Most scammers don’t know shit about computers and won’t know how to block stuff.

With that said this particular video loses some empathy from me, when the scammed let the "N" word drop. I get how pain is a force that can make someone lose themselves for a moment. …. OR, we can encourage IMPROVEMENT! and hook them up with "our man" to learn :)
The FBI is trash. So are local authorities. They are so incompetent at their jobs. They are more political in nature. It turns out they will not give a fuck.
Sometimes we need love in all the wrong places but never will take your heart. That is yours to keep unless they butcher you. Got to be careful.
It's very easy to get duped, especially if you are desperate for something they are offering.

The dude who had a gun to his head is a fucking psycho... probably should be investigated before he shoots up a school or some shit
