- Finally got the Taramps md 8k installed. I hook the agm and my regular battery up. I got to definitely get more batteries to run this bad boy! But I'm still happy that I atleast got it and it work!👍💯

I had to resolder my clip light, my lows hit so hard the solders failed from Taramp. Resolder and haven't had any issues. Keep doing what you do brother love watching your videos.
Thank you! And hear you on how cheap there put together. But I guess there worth it if you upgrade and change things a lot like me. So I'm not worried about them lasting forever. Maybe one day I'll get it set up the way I like it and keep it that way. But I highly doubt it😆👍👊😎💯
I feel ya, i am constantly changing things. Looking to change out my head unit. I have a cheap android double din with 13 band eq, and i also have an american bass graphics eq...i just can't get it to sound like it should
Get the pioneer I got! You can get it at Walmart. It's perfect for bassheads! You download the app that goes with it and your phone turns into a remote to control the head unit settings! Its got tons of features. Just make sure you get the one with the CD player. Even if you don't need CDs. Cause it's way better and has way more features. 70.00 bucks at Walmart!

Turn your high pass off and turn your low pass to around 70 or 80 and it will play low. If you get any noise ground your rca. Nice job bro
8k low pass only goes down to 90hz. But I can turn the low pass to the subs to 63 hz on my head unit. I'm going to build a whole new box. Thinking 4th order blow through 👍💨😎💯
@@bassjunkie2020 using both low pass filters makes it hard to tune. I had to get a JVC or kenwood head unit so I could turn my subwoofer low pass filter off on radio and use amp. Sounds way way better trust me
@@bassjunkie2020 I have went through 3 radios trying to get the right sound where I could turn off the low pass. Finally mine sounds amazing. Set the subwoofer lpf to THROUGH. Then set my amp LPF to 75
Yeah the pioneer I have is awesome! I can dial each speaker in to how I want. I got the mids high pass set at 150hz and subs at 63hz. 👍👊💨😎💯

Well it's definitely more out put! But I need more batteries before I can really turn it up. So if you do plan on getting enough battery capacity to run it. Other then that hell yeah!👍😎💯

@@bassjunkie2020 Do you have a wire going directly from your alt to your back batteries? That is how i have mine, and i have a volt meter on my dash that is hooked up to my back batteries and it hardly goes down at all, even when I am full tilt. I have that some battery under my hood, and two small agms in the back about 50ah in the back and that big one is what 90ah? So anyways I am pushing between 3k-5k with all 3 of my amps running.
I have 0g welding cable and 4g factory wire from alternator plus 0g all around for big 3.my new battery is 95 ah
I would go with Limitless lithium.it will save you in the long run,that's what I'm saving up for now

glad you are able to get it up and going! I'm thinking about getting a audio control Epicenter, anyone have any experience with an Epicenter? A buddy of mine had one in a Geo metro wallled off with 15s and the epicenter crushed the lowHz!
No I don't have any experience with epicenters. But I think I need one. Let me know when you get yours how well they work. Then I might get one👊👍💨😎💯
Epicenter works best with old music.. I don't even use mine with modern music
epicenters are not for bass heavy music. its good for older music or music that lacks bass.. it sounds bad with modern day hip hop or anything with deep bass. I got one and only use it for latin, pop, old school hiphop......
Always remember you can play 8 to 10hz lower than the box is turned to.

My box tune to 35 but I’m building another one tune to 32 like those lows! 👍🏻
I had it set to 54.7 volts but turned it up and watched clip monitor. It goes way up before clipping. But can't set it to high because when playing hard hitting music. It will clip a lot. So I got it as good as I could last night. Going to mess with it some when I get home today. Had a ton of stuff to do today. I know I can set it better👍👊💨😎💯🤪
I have 2 AB HD 15 D1 2kw rms per. Which would be best, Taramps bass 5k or 8k to bump these beast??
8k hands down! My xfls are only 1500 rms! But you don't have to turn the amp all the way up to 8k. Just set it to where your subs hit nice without clipping. That way you still have plenty of head room. So if you upgrade down the road you will have the extra power! Plus once your subs are broken in real good. They will want more power! So If it was me I'd get the 8k. I went from a 3k to a 8k. Because 2000 more rms didn't seem like enough 😂👊😎💯

Hey man, I got one of the battery boxes from Wal Mart that comes with a strap kit to secure the battery to the floor of the car. I think it was 10 bucks.

If you going to run big power you will need bigger alt. I have a JS 250 amp alternator. Stock alt won't be enough. It will cause the amp to clip due to low voltage

Just a heads up them terminals you have are not very good from my past experience. Mine corroded within just a couple months extremely bad but perhaps you will have better luck.
Lol I bet😂👍 There Walmart specials 😆 It was all I could get on a short notice just to get it up and running. One of our subscribers Tony has sent me some good 6 input bus bar terminals and other stuff. He said they should be here Wednesday. So the terminals I'm using only for a few days. I might use them again down the road when I get more batteries to connect them👍👊💨😎💯

No it works good! And it said it could take 10 days to get it. But I got mine in like 4 or 5 days. It came quickly and unexpectedly. Which was nice. Not to hard to install either 👍😎💯

Yeah I could but I was just editing a video for RUclips. When my phone froze up! It keeps trying to start over but won't. The battery was low so maybe it will run out. I can turn it off or take battery out. Its built in. Its a unlocked Samsung A20 which has been upgraded to a s10. But if I can get my phone working I will hit you up. I'm using wifi on a old lg phone to check my messages on my Facebook and email.

Man, you’re gonna need a lot more battery and a lot better wire on that 8k it’ll catch fire or just blow if you run it down below 12 volts much. I have a limitless lithium cyber 6k and I never drop below 14 volts and only charge at 14.5 on my bass 8k. Got another bass 8k on the way this morning. Battery is 800 dollars and will take all those amps you have and more. I’d suggest limitless lithium, you can run it with agm also.
But I see you working with what you have at the time. I just figured I’d share some of my personal experience with limitless lithium and taramps.
Im going to buy 2 more of the batteries I got. They are 95 ah . 3 would be 280ah. So I might need 4. But I might get one of those lithium batteries. Those limit batteries are expensive. But ill try👍💯
