  • Whether it was my first car, a 1990 Ford Fiesta 1.1l Popular Plus, or the car I own today - I have always been one to make something my own. It's not that I have ever had any ambitions to stand out in a crowd, but the idea of taking an object and adding my own personal touch to it is a very special thing for me.
Clearly I'm not alone. Just take a ride from A to B and you'll see dozens of examples of mods.
Imagine my excitement to find that I'm not the only Porsche owner who has this outlook. Even better, one of my dear friends...!
As ever, thanks so much for watching my videos and supporting my channel. Keep the comments and chat coming! More videos coming soon. Cheers!

Nice, although I would have kept the silver wheels.

      Yeah me too.
Black wheels don't bring a car to life as he says 🤷‍♂️

Agree but the rest is very decent and not over the top.

Car looks awesome. Usually not a big fan of black wheels, but these look great, finish is top quality. CF mirror trim is perfect.

Very nice exterior mods! The powder coated exhaust tips look fantastic!

I would not of thought powder coating was advisable on exhaust tips due the heat. Ceramic coating would be better. That's a beautiful Turbo Chris

Quick update…I did have to have the exhaust tips redone after our Rocky Mountain trip. They did not hold up at all. The powered coating melted off. I had them redone in matte and then ceramic coated them. So far…after a couple hundred miles they still look great.

I'm also a big fan of the Exclusive Series and am currently looking at the stripes for my Porsche. Do you happen to have the size for the stripes? I've been trying to extrapolate from pictures and that's never easy :) Also, having had seen a couple in the flesh Chris, do you know if the stripes get wider as they go further up the bonnet? And then reduce in width as they proceeed along the roofline? TIA

Please go watch the PCA video on wheels and get to the powder coating section of wheels. Closely review powder coating the lug nut area and back side of the wheel. Please don't drive your car until you watch that, you may want to make changes to your powder coating.

I was aware of that. The back of the rims where connection points to the rotor where not coated. The guy who coated them definitely knew what he was doing and make sure those areas where not coated.

@@Carbonfiberchris The area the lug nuts contact are not to be coated.

I love the 911 turbo, but unfortunately even with an exhaust it does not sound as good as my flat 6 with Akrapovic. Nice car.

    Fake carbon… 🤦‍♂️

    • @AutoAmateur
      @AutoAmateur  2 года назад

OEM / real factory carbon fiber intake covers. The wrap on the top of the wing is a test to see if Chris likes it, before shelling out $2k on the factory part. The decals? HELL YEAH BRO!! Fire.

Like James said. Wanted to test the waters without spending 10k. Now I know how much I like it. Looking at CF mirror housing and and full CF wing to start. Won’t be fake for long. 😉
