Yea I don't know what's happened, I just to love tifo irl but, since it's became athletic FC it's gone downhill. We even see JJ and John less now, it's a lot athletic journalists.
Reuben was such a highlight of the later episodes of the TIFO football podcast, it’s a shame that the channel has gone the way it has tbh. Clearly a very intelligent bloke and his humour really shone through alongside JJ bull. RIP tifo, Alex leaving was the sign of the end
Ofc, K League is my favourite Asian league when I started playing FIFA 14. I love how the league is fully licensed while Serie B is just awful and unlicensed.
In Turkey, he gets to play in a top 10 European League with a high chance of playing in the Champions League or Europa. If he performs there well, maybe he gets an offer from a top 5 European league. Although I doubt he has anymore motivation to compete in the highest level. Saudi Arabia would have a been a good fit from a financial perspective, and only if he got offers from Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and or Al Nasser. Because those clubs are big from an Asian perspective as well. Overall I think Seoul is a good fit for hi. If he under performs in Turkey or Saudi Arabia, the media there will be tough on him.
I mean where would you live? Would you live in Turkiye, Saudi, or Korea? If you ever been to those countries you would choose Korea without any reservations.
k league is arguably the poorest league to have teams competing in the asian champions league. The prize money for being a k league 1 champion is less than 300k pounds. 2nd place gets 60k. Money is the last reason why a player with Jesse Lingard's credentials would join the k league.
@@slothman8233You're ignoring his commercial benefits and opportunities he's getting to go there. There's definitely an ego element to it aswell where he can actually be a star again like he was in 2016/17. Wolves would've made the most sense for him or staying at West ham instead of going to Forrest
@@slothman8233they’re going to be plastering him everywhere in Korea. The league may be poor but the country is far from it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung have him all over
So, instead of the weekly pieces you guys would do, the New York Times, in its infinite wisdom, has you doing nothing but shorts? I know you have a podcast. However, some of us loved your RUclips stuff. Enshittification strikes again. Thanks, NYT.
Pffff Lingard can sod off. Tremendous potential but just wants to be an influencer. Someone needs to tell the lad that you're meant to be good looking for that life
Is this just a shorts channel now? Not that the video is bad or anything, but I liked the long stuff that was put out.

Algorithm gaming trying to make profitable content and boost subscriptions. The old channel was good but didn’t put up numbers. They are a business.
@@jamesrowland2002this is the perfect answer
There are still plenty of full length videos. Do you really want a full length video on why Linguard went to SK?
They cut the budget sad story

Yeah I really miss Alex and Joe Devine dynamic😢
Alex, Joe and JJ were the best group for the show. Their FM series were amazing
Korean baddies could be a reason😅
more like Korean BBQ
Lingard has a child why would he mingle with women though. Doesn't fit him
Just cause he has a child doesn't mean he can't get a woman.@juzloopz24
Full of platic
@@aerithofmyorewhat? He would mingle and dingle
I mean… good for him
Jesse welcome to FC Seoul! We love you and support you!!
Honestly I find this so much cooler than Saudi Arabia or Turkey

Am happy for the lad. He deserves this
When FC Seoul comes into the equation, you gotta sign 🇰🇷
I mean, he gets to live in Seoul

he is in fact the first footballer EVER to move anywhere for the money

Adel Taarabt in the championship vibes
Considering if he plays well he'll def be a celebrity
THE THIRTY-ONE YEAR OLD?!?
Still a young lad with room for growth
Cos nobody else wanted him and they offered him money. Next question please.
did you bother to watch the 1 minute long shot before commenting?
@@V-O-VNo, no he did not.
No more long form videos?
Is this a good move for Lingard?
Almost as bad as the move of Tifo IRL into Athletic FC
rejecting besiktas was the worst thing he could do
Beskitas could have been a better option and he needs time he hasn’t played football in months so his body needs time

Has to be the only league that would take him.
Many league wanted him but dont have the finance to do so.
Jesse looks like Hanni lol
Besides the club’s fans, who’s actually getting a Jesse Lingard shirt?
Whole K-League fans. MU fans in Asia. Britons based expat / migrant in asia. Random jersey collector. Many.
No one in their right mind would buy JLings merch 😂
I’ll probably try and grab a jersey. Cool piece of gear tbh.
K-LEAGUE ❌ K LEAGUE ⭕️
hes 31 now? damn, i thought he still young
Also e-sports and clothing
He should have stayed with west ham but he wanted to play with his hero ronaldo
This channels gone to shite

The WHAT year old??
He killed his own career
Merchandise sales... What a loser
So he can spend his time making social media posts lol he doesnt need money hes had mufc money for 10yrs + hes very far from needing money
Budding talent 😢
Why are you doing a video on a irrelevant guy
Because noone wanted him
A percentage of merchandise sales?
That's the sweetest plum!
Not money at all, K league would be great to play in when you're 30+ and single
Uyfggrsd😢
Lets be honest... he's got yellow fever! 🤔
