I had a few Mongoose bikes when I was a kid. When I was 10 my parents bought me a brand new 1993 Mongoose Expert Comp which had to be ordered. I remember the excitement when it arrived at the bike shop. After that I bought a used 1996 Mongoose Solution Comp. I invested lots of money in parts on the bike and it ended up getting stolen. I was so depressed for a few weeks after that. Not long after I got my driver's license and didn't think about bicycles anymore.
I’m from bel air MD! I remember going to bike line and bike connection when I was a kid. I still have my 1996 mongoose solution pro racing bike. Gonna get it fixed up.
Is that the one with the 1” head tube or was that an earlier model? I have solution pro forks on my haro shredder, made a clamp on stem from scratch when I was in high school so I could do a threadless conversion. The kid I got the forks off had super rich parents and upgraded his solution to those Answer pro forx suspension thingies. He had the spin carbon wheels and everything haha
Fairly certain fusion peddles did come stock on haros. Love that zippo just because it's from my era, I remember when they were new in my local shop. I had a green nyquist haro backtrail x1 I evetually upgraded to an x3. (Ended up stolen as alot of our childhood bikes did😅). Wish I still had that bike to hang on the wall. I had the alex tripple wall rims in a dark gunmetal brass color (cost me 150 each used back in 01). I still look for that bike, it was stolen in 04..
I like ur CollectionI have a 2000 GT bump 2000 performer another GT performer I got a put together Dino nfx and Dino sfs or something a dyno air a late 70s early 80s kids KHS racing bike an 87 kuaraha magician and a haro f3 a 24 in trek wade boots Diamond back mister lucky and my newest bike the one ima bout to build up is a 81 schwinn Predator cromo with the og racing crank

There's no such thing as a GT Dyno. Most of those are tri-moly entry level bikes.
Actually back in the days the dynos had gt on them
Dynos where built by gt I rode gt back in the 90s raced and freestyle

My 96 Haro Freestyler Pro is the coolest bike I have seen in Albuquerque in a while.
