Its so bad cheesy doesn't come close. Mind you i am American, but i have seen many Aussie B movies.. it's no running on empty which had its fair share of bad stunts! Glad to see snow survived Gallipoli however! :)

My first bike was an old Schwinn roadster, then we moved to a new neighborhood with a bunch of kids in it. They all had BMX bikes and I still had my super heavy old bike with fenders and all. They all thought it was a stupid bike and I did, too. Finally after a couple of years for Christmas I got a new Huffy BMX. Road that thing all over the place. Through construction sites for the new houses, over trails people had made with motorbikes. That thing was so light, it flew over jumps. Lots of good memories on that old bike.

I seen this a long time ago in America, never knew what it was, always wanted to seen it again. This inspired me to get a bike. Never knew it was Nicole Kidman, or Australia. That's cool. Always remembered this movie.

1:28 I was anticipating them to grind the rails, but then realized this was the early 80's years before grinding handrails came into existence...

DUDE !!!!! I watched this as a kid and totally forgot it existed!!! Thanks
Edit - I am surprised it is still pretty decent for the time frame and as a young person film. I don't know why - I guess the times were different - but my parents let me watch anything back then and I watched zombie flicks, slashers, BMX... you name it. I am surprised I was into something so wholesome. And having a little boy crush on powder puff before she was known to me as Nicole Kidman the famous actress. LOL Good Times.
Now back to my thankless job making less than I should, contemplating what I should have done differently my whole life. HAHA

Loved this movie as a kid & first time seeing since then. I had no recollection that Nicole Kidman was in it. Makes me want to get an old GT Performer or Hutch Trick Star. Xmas is coming up ...
