The three curtains each had a name; 1- to enter into the complex- called the Way, the second curtain into the Holy room was the Truth and 3- the veil going into the Holy of Holies was called the Life. Remember when Jesus said he was the Way, the Truth and the Life? Those folks he was speaking to, would have know immediately to what he was referring.

@@ReformedRookie When you ask this question it sent me digging. The author of this was drawing on Jesus statement that he was the way, the truth, and the life. The author likened it to the Tabernacle curtains. I was in error when I stated what to me at the time was true, it wasn't. I am sorry for my mistake. I am studying all things tabernacle right now.

Just seeing this on RUclips I have a question or maybe something to add ok I know there were cherabin in the garden I know the 4 beast in Daniel was made of gold silver and bronze since they were made of these metals were they trying to create a tabernacle for themselves in earth and try to usurp God almighty's tabernacle plus the ram and goat in Daniel they never went west and in Daniel the abomination of desolation it says the person stands in the holy place will be be killed on the spot because priests are only allowed to enter I was listening to your study of the garden and thought that the beast was trying to make it's own tabernacle

See Genesis 50:26. It was Joseph, not Jacob that was buried in a coffin in Egypt. Jacob was "gathered to his people" near Mamre in the land of Canaan. See Gen. 49:29-33.

Im sorry but u took Ex 3:14 out of context. I AM is not the Most high's name. In Ex. 3:15 He mentions His name, although His name is replaced with "LORD" due to alteration of scripture. And in John 8:58, the Messiah is basically saying the same thing the angel was saying as it spoke on the behalf of the Most high. One in Hebrew, the other in Greek, but the both mean the same thing.....and not a name. Nor is the Messiah saying, in that verse, that He is the Most High lol. Seems logical...but, no.

If you research modern Bedouin tents (Turkish or Iranian "black tents"), made from black goat's hair, they are pretty much rain proof. The coarsely woven fibers are see-through from the inside, while not from the outside. These kinds of tents cool during the desert heat (entropy, heat rising from the roof drawing cool air in from the underside) and the fibers swell up when wet and seal off the rain. I only came to know this through looking up bushcraft stuff and natural coverings and ancient tarps, but it is very useful.

It seems impossible to understand the first century Jewish Christian references in the Gospels and Letters, unless one has a detailed understanding of the tabernacle and temple as well as the activities that surround the narrative. Many Christians completely misunderstand the metaphors that are used as well as the phrases and fall victim to a literal and not a spiritual understanding of the Torah. There are many things I could say, but one major stumbling block for Christians is the theological idea of "the second coming" which is nowhere explicitly stated in the New Testament. When the NT writers mention of seeing the Son of Man "coming in the clouds of heaven" they are not referencing the appearance of a small man floating down from outer space and making an appearance. It's ridiculous...how are people on the other side of the planet going to see him? Instead if one recognizes the relationship of the clouds or cloud to the tabernacle the picture becomes clear. The tabernacle both follows the cloud as well as the cloud filling the tabernacle. Spiritual speaking, we are those tabernacles that both follow the cloud and are filled by the cloud. Thus every eye shall see him.

I agree with you on most of what you said, however there will be a physical resurrection from the dead:
Philippians 3:10-11- that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings,
becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
Philippians 3:20-21-But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables
him even to subject all things to himself.

    • @11thstory
      @11thstory 5 месяцев назад

@@ReformedRookie In the first century, there were diverse interpretations of the concept of resurrection among Jewish sects. The Gospel accounts depict Jesus engaging in debates with both the Pharisees, who believed in a physical resurrection, and the Sadducees, who rejected the idea altogether. In Matthew, Jesus presents a unique perspective, stating, "But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." Here, the present tense suggests an ongoing existence in God.
Interestingly the Essenes, another Jewish popular sect, are not mentioned in the Gospels. Some scholars speculate that early Christianity may have been influenced or sprung out of Essene beliefs. The Essenes held the notion that while the body could be killed, the soul persisted and could inhabit another body-a concept akin to reincarnation or ressurection exemplified in the belief that John the Baptist embodied the spirit of Elijah.
Exploring the phrase "attain the resurrection from the dead," the term "attain" implies a process or revelation rather than a singular event. It denotes a transformation from the individual (tabernacle) to the collective (Body), albeit with each person experiencing this in their own order. This aligns with the idea presented in Corinthians that in Christ, one becomes a new creation, shedding the old for the new, including the acquisition of immortality.
It's essential to recognize that the letters comprising the New Testament were not originally compiled into a single volume but rather accumulated over time. Addressed to specific congregations (churches), each letter tailored its message to the spiritual maturity and comprehension level of its recipients. The distinction is evident in John's epistle, which distinguishes between children, young adults, and fathers, each group receiving a message relevant to their level of understanding and growth.

if you say The Father Himself Came down from Heaven to Die on the Cross that is Blasphemy and means there is no need for Jesus the Messiah .

Muslims are condemned already because they dont believe Jesus died and was resurrected so there is no sacrifice for their sin. 1. "Before abraham was I AM" If he was not claiming to be God then why did they try to stone him? They knew exactly what he meant. 2. Gospel of John : In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the Word (Jesus) was with God and the Word (Jesus) "WAS" God. Verse 14 - and the Word (Jesus) was made flesh and dwelt among us

@@comesee1752 You misunderstand the context and need to be corrected. Let's take 6 verses from John Chapter 10 to prove that Jesus was NOT CLAIMING to be THE FATHER.
      *John 10:30-36*
*30 I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE.*
*31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.*
*32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?*
*33 THE JEWS ANSWERED HIM SAYING,*
*FOR A GOOD WORK WE STONE THEE NOT; BUT FOR BLASPHEMY; & BECAUSE THAT THOU, BEING A MAN, MAKEST THYSELF GOD.*
*34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?*
*35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;*
*36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,*
*THOU BLASPHEMEST; BECAUSE I SAID, I AM THE SON OF GOD?*
*THOU BLASPHEMEST; BECAUSE I SAID, I AM THE SON OF GOD?*
(Clearly the Jews MISUNDERSTOOD his statement of "I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE." Jesus CORRECTED their misunderstanding and told them HE IS THE SON OF GOD, NOT THE FATHER. Jesus was claiming to be ONE IN UNION WITH THE FATHER when he said "I & my Father are One.")
Jesus was brought forth from the same divine essence & Spirit of the Father (which is ETERNAL) and is the WORD OF GOD MADE FLESH. He is a TRUE ETERNALLY BEGOTTEN SON and not a metaphor. Jesus the Son of God has inherited the throne and all power from the Father when he ascended to the Father after his ressurrection. He promises those of us who remain Faithful to the End & conquer, to inheret the Kingdom and we will Judge fallen Angels and the Nations with our Lord Jesus Christ.)
      *1 Corinthians 6:2-3*
*Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?*
*Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?*
      *JESUS SAYS:*
*The one who conquers, I will grant to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also have conquered and have sat down with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:21:*
      *Revelation 2:26-27*
*And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:*
*27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.*
He promises to give us the inheritance for being Spiritually born Again Sons of HIS SPIRIT, *IF WE REMAIN IN HIM* and remain FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH.
So Jesus is GOD in UNION with the Father. There are two distinct persons of the Godhead, THE FATHER, AND THE SON WHO PROCEEDED OUT OF THE FATHER'S SPIRIT AND WAS MADE FLESH.
The Son & the Father are what make up the GODHEAD, and THEIR SPIRIT is the HOLY SPIRIT. The Holy Spirit is NOT A SEPERATE ENTITY. Both the Trinity doctrine created by the Jesuits of the Roman Catholec cherch, and the Oneness doctrine ARE INCORRECT.
I used to be a trinitarian, and was considering the oness doctrine, but after studying this countless hours from various sources:
The scriptures, Scholars, debates, Articles, Theologians, etc. I came to understand that Jesus is TRULY THE ONLY ETERNALLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD. He is distinct from the Father in person, but ONE WITH THE FATHER IN ESSENCE, SINCE JESUS IS FROM THE SAME SPIRIT OF THE FATHER.
I've discussed this topic AS A TRINITARIAN with brothers/pastors who believe in ONENESS doctrine. After much debating I was considering ONENESS, but I found many vital flaws in it that I could NOT reconclie & I could not accept is as true in light of what Scripture teaches. Then as i probed deeper into oneness and the trinity, I have come to believe they are both incorrect.
Although to be honest with you I don't believe that if you hold to either one of these doctrines that it will jeapordize your salvation. Since the bible teaches that we are to beleive (at minimum) that Jesus is the Anointed Messiah & Son of the living God. So this is NOT a salvational issue as many confused brothers in the Faith try to make it out to be. I have yet to find anyone be able to prove otherwise.
      *1 John 5:5:*
*WHO IS HE THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD?*
      Be blessed.

*Genesis 2:16 - 17, And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.*
Why do you people keep trying to make men and women equals?
God did NOT command Adam and Eve. STOP lieing on my Father. It is written, *And the LORD God commanded the man* ...
Sin did NOT come into the world through a woman. If it had, it would be passed down from woman to woman which means the Son of man was born in sin. That is blasphemy.
Sin came into the world by one man NOT one man and one woman.
