BOOKS ABOUT ISRAEL BY TODD FINK: www.toddmichaelfink.com/books
    Location
    1. Timna Park is 17 miles (27 km.) north of Eilat and the Red Sea, on Hwy. 90.
    2. Located within Timna Park is another park that has an exact replica of the tabernacle God ordered Moses to build while he was on Mount Sinai.
    3. This tabernacle contains every piece of furniture, Brazen Altar, Table of Showbread, Ark of the Covenant, and everything the original tabernacle had. It’s the only life-size model of its kind in Israel that is exactly like the original one.
    Historical Background
    1. The tabernacle was portable, and its specifications are found in Exodus chapters 25-40.
    2. Most Christians skim over or don’t read the sections and books of the Bible that deal with the details of the Law and the tabernacle.
    3. Some might wonder why God spent 40 days instructing Moses about the tabernacle but only spent 6 days creating the entire universe?
    4. And if God only needed a little over one chapter to describe the structure of the world, why did He need 15 chapters to describe the structure and details of the tabernacle?
    5. For most Christians, reading from Genesis to Exodus chapter 20 is great. Then, they get bogged down in the rest of Exodus, Leviticus, and part of Numbers.
    6. The fact that God spends so much time on the details of how mankind can be right with Him reveals that He is more concerned about having a relationship with us than the importance of His creation.
    Places of Interest
    1. Tabernacle Courtyard Fence
    It measures 75 ft. wide (23 m.) by 150 ft. long (46 m.).
The Courtyard has 60 posts with linen curtains all around it.
The Courtyard posts were 7.5 ft. high (2.29 m.).
Each post had a bronze base with silver hooks and rings on top.
Acacia wood was used for the tabernacle. These trees can be seen close to the tabernacle in Timna Park today.
The Eastern Gate, which was the entrance, had 4 posts and a colored curtain.
    2. Courtyard
The Bronze (copper) Altar measured 7.5 ft. wide square (2.29 m.) by 4.5 ft. high (1.37 m.) and had 4 horns on each corner (also called the horns of the altar).
The Bronze Laver made from brass.
Sacrifices and cleansing took place in the courtyard outside the Holy Place. Judgment and cleansing had to take place first before the priests could enter the temple.
    3. The Tabernacle (also known as the Tent of Meeting)
    It measured 45 ft. long (13.72 m.) by 15 ft. wide by 15 ft. high (4.57 m.).
It was made with 10 curtains of fine linen of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn.
Each curtain was made with an embroidered cherub.
    4. The Holy Place
Only the priests and High Priest could enter the Holy Place.
    It measured 15 ft. wide (4.57 m.) by 30 ft. long (9.14 m.).
It contained the menorah made from a single piece of gold.
The Table of Showbread (representing the unleavened bread of the first Passover) measured 36 inches wide (91.44 cm.) by 18 inches deep (45.72 cm.) by 27 inches tall (68.58 cm.). On it were 12 loaves of bread which represented the 12 tribes of Israel.
There was the Altar of Incense, which measured 18 inches square (45.72 cm.) by 36 inches tall (91.44 cm.). Only a special kind of incense was to be burned upon it.
The priests wore white, linen robes with a colorful sash.
The High Priest wore special garments (a turban, ephod, breastplate, and robe). The breastplate contained 12 stones, each representing the 12 tribes of Israel. There were bells and pomegranates at the bottom of the robe.
    5. The Veil Curtain separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies. It was made of blue, purple, and scarlet thread.
    6. The Holy of Holies
    It measured 15 ft. by 15 ft. (4.6 m. by 4.6 m.).
Only the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies once a year on the day of Yom Kippur, and he wore a holy linen coat (Lev. 16:4).
He had to be purified from all sin before entering.
Tradition holds that a rope was tied to the waist of the High Priest in case God smote him for being impure in His site. By doing so, he could be drug out with the rope because they were forbidden to enter the Holy of Holies. However, this tradition is not in the Bible.
Inside the Holy of Holies was the Ark of the Covenant, which measured 45 inches wide (114 cm.) by 27 inches deep by 27 inches tall (68.58 cm.).
On top of the Ark of the Covenant was the Mercy Seat, which measured 27 inches high (68.58 cm.). Molded to it were 2-winged cherubim angel figures made from one piece of gold.
Inside the Ark of the Covenant were the Ten Commandments written on Stone Tablets by the finger of God, Aaron’s Rod that budded, and a Jar of Manna.

Concentrating and picturing some of the terms in the KJV was not easy, but I'm glad to find this video to better understand. But how did they journey with the tent as mentioned in Exodus 40: 36-38? Or did they dismantle it and carry only the ark of testimony?

This was a very informative video of great value as it allows you to see with your own eyes what the Tabernacle may have looked like but it is also a cursory presentation. Many great minds have worked hard to explore the workings of this arrangement including Nikola Tesla and the picture that emerges for a truth student is stunning but many might consider it blasphemous to elaborate on anything in scripture. However It does not diminish it but give is an almost blinding brilliance when you understand the reality it represents. Each and every aspect of the Tabernacle, Solomon's Temple and the Great Pyramids is worthy of volumes of description and meditation to fully understand as they all accomplish the same thing. One is the original, the other a recreation and one was portable. Thank you for making this wonderful video.

If you be the temple of God this day, enter His gates with thanksgiving.
    Psalm 100:4-5,
" 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations".
The Tabernacle had the altar (immediately after the gates) where the blood was applied. Today, we enter God's gates giving thanks for the blood of Christ that is on the ALTAR of God in heaven. Gods Word says to "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus". We give thanks for ALL that we have obtained as believers in Christ Jesus. We thank God for the finished works of Christ for us.
As per the layout of the Tabernacle, next came the courtyard. God says enter His courts with praise!
Psalm 150:6 "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Praise God with the Psalms. Exholt His name.
I believe the Tabernacle is a type of a layout of "ascension" to be at the altar of incense (prayer altar), which is right before the Holy of Holies (where God's presence was). Today, our prayers are the incense, a pleasing aroma to God. King David said in Psalm 141, “let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice".
From the gates, to the altar of incense, into the Holy of Holies, is all because of the blood at the altar UPFRONT!
So there are no other ways to the Holy of Holies, outside of the blood of Christ.
Human beings today, would like to create "side doors" to the Tabernacle, that bypass the altar of sacrifice, but it was not in the original of God's plan. One way to God, Jesus.
    Thank God for Jesus Christ❤️

Wonderful video and I hope more will come. Most Christians do not concern themselves with the purpose of the tabernacle (later the two Temples) because we have Jesus. We don't need to know anything about the foundations of what Jesus did in the OT because we live by Grace. We frankly don't need to know nothing because Jesus did it all for us and we can sit back, be smug in our ignorance and let things happen because we got saved. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6 You have to take the whole word of God in the scriptures and not just part of it as many only focus on the "New Testament". There are prophecies in the "Old Testament" that have yet to be fulfilled. God's word is still 100% no matter when it was written down.
The tabernacle was set up in the desert by Moses in about 1444BC, (about a year after the Exodus) with explicit instructions by God. It is in fact a replica of what is in Heaven. It is a blueprint for sinful man to get back to God. In Moses' day this was not possible so God instructed Moses in the sacrificial law to be carried out by the Levite tribe. They were the priest tribe, one of the thirteen tribes of Israel. The exact dimensions, materials, ornaments, etc., were written down and there is a specific meaning for every detail. The other 12 tribes of Israel were to camp around the tabernacle, 3 to the north, 3 to the south, three to the east and 3 to the west and in the center was the priest tribe of Levi. This represented the chosen people of God (Israel) while the other 12 tribes were the whole of mankind. Only the tribe of Levi could enter the temple to do their priestly duties. God would dwell inside the Host Holy place while not even the Levites could go in the Most Holy Place except once a year at Passover where the High Priest would go in to sprinke the blood of the unblemished lamb that was sacrificed at the Alter of Burnt Offerings onto the right side of the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant. Each of the 6 pieces of furniture has a specific meaning and purpose how God's people could get back to Got who symbolically resided in the Most Holy Place that pertains to Christians today and was meant to show the process that involved a sacrifice of the innocent.
The tabernacle and its rituals are called a “shadow of good things to come”; the salvation of Jesus Christ - of which He is the substance (Hebrews 9:9-11, 10:1, Colossians 2:17). Many still focus on religious rituals rather than receiving the reality - the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They are chasing shadows. They are like a husband who sees the shadow of his bride appearing as she is ready to walk down the aisle. He then ignores his bride and embraces her shadow. Are you chasing shadows or have you embraced the only living Savior?
    1) The Alter of Sacrifice:
The Levites selected an unblemished lamb to be sacrificed on the Alter of Burnt Offering on Passover. This represented the Son of God who would later be the true sacrifice for all of man but would be sacrificed by the "Chosen People" (Abraham's Physical Descendants per the Covenant) which were represented by the Levite tribe. The first piece a worshipper would encounter as he came through the door was the altar. It was wood covered with brass (or copper at that time). It was a perfect square with horns on each of the 4 corners. It was where the blood sacrifices of clean lambs and goats would be offered in the heat of fire unto God for atonement (the covering and forgiveness of sins) (Exodus 27:1-8, Leviticus 17:11). Since the brazen altar was FIRST, it tells us that judgment on sin and forgiveness must come first in one’s approach to God. If the courtyard had been set up with no altar or priest to offer the sacrifice, it would convey that one could come into God’s presence without a sacrifice or mediator. Some religions teach this way. But the altar says our sin must be dealt with first by God’s ordained Priest. It was the Son of God who on the cross sacrificed His sinless blood on behalf of the sinner; ” Christ died for our sins.” Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (1Corinthians 15:3, John 1:29). It was Jesus who was resurrected as the High Priest. When people receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, they are taking their place as a sinner under judgment and trusting Christ alone as their Savior before God. The equal four sides of the altar remind us that the gospel of Christ is nondiscriminatory. For God so loved the world (north, south, east and west) what He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). The four horns speak of power. The blood of Jesus Christ has the power to forgive all sin (1John 1:7, 9).
    2) The Laver of Washing:
The second piece of furniture was a washing basin for the priests called the laver (lavatory - place of washing). It came after the altar of sacrifice and before the entrance to the sanctuary. It was made of polished copper. Its purpose was “to wash”. The priests had to daily wash their hands and feet from dirt and contamination before they worshipped God at the altar or entered the sanctuary to serve. The laver was not for the shedding of sacrificial blood for sin but for the washing of dirt. One had to be clean to serve. (Exodus 30:18-21). This second piece tells us that God is not only interested in the forgiveness of our sin but also our daily cleanliness in living for Him. The New Testament teaches that once one is forgiven of sin by Christ’s sacrifice he or she receives the “living water” of the Holy Spirit. One purpose of the Spirit is to renew our minds to serve God acceptably. We also read of “the washing of water by the word.” As the Christian daily learns God’s Word, the Bible, he or she is cleansed from wrong thinking and ways so his service is acceptable to God. (John 8:37-39, Romans 12: 102, Hebrews 12:28, Ephesians 5:26, Psalm 119:11). If the order was the laver first and the altar second the picture would convey that Christ’s gospel says to live clean and then God will forgive and make one right. Many religions proclaim this order. But God’s order reveals that first God forgives by Christ and then He gives the power (Spirit) for one to live clean unto Him.
    The Holy Place:
(The First Sanctuary with 3 Pieces of Furniture)
The holy place contained gold not copper: the golden lampstand, the golden table of bread and the golden altar of incense. Here the washed priests entered to perform service and representative worship unto the Lord. This section tells that God is not only interested in our forgiveness and daily cleanliness but also our worship.
    3) The Golden Lampstand:
On the south side of the holy place stood the pure golden lampstand. The gold was formed into the shape of an almond tree in the full bloom of life by beating or hammering. It had six fruitful branches with a central shaft or trunk. They were designed to hold seven bowls filled with olive oil to provide light. Light and life merged together in one unit. The light was continual and was never to go out. There was no light at all in the holy place except that which came from the golden lampstand. The varied colors and beauty of the inner sanctuary could only be seen in this one light. John 1 presents the one Christ (Jesus) as both light and life. “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.” He alone as God in the flesh gives life eternal and the light to understand and know God. The number six of the branches reminds us of man (created on the sixth day). The number seven of the lamps reminds us of God’s perfect number (resting on the seventh day for all things were completed and good). Jesus Christ is both six (man) and seven (God) in one person. The church of the Lord Jesus Christ is also pictured as a lampstand through which his Spirit and Word reveals the gospel truth and glory of God (Revelation 1:20).
    4) The Golden Table of Showbread:
Directly opposite the lampstand stood the table of showbread on the north side. One could only see the bread by the one light. Twelve loaves of bread were set on it once a week. During the week the bread was to be displayed before God. On the Sabbath the priests were to eat it. Thus God and man shared the same table together in fellowship of the same bread. A table is a place where friends fellowship while eating. We read of the “Lord’s table” in the "New Testament" where the Christian breaks the bread and eats it in the fellowship of the body of Christ (1Corinthians 10:16-21). Here God and man are in harmony over the same thing: the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. His death was pleasing to the Father as an acceptable offering for our sin and His death is precious to us as the means by which we are forgiven and know God’s love (Romans 5:8).
    5) The Golden Alter of Incense:
The third and last piece of furniture in the holy place was the altar of incense with its four horns. This stood by the veil, which separated the holy place from the holiest of holies. This altar was for one purpose only: to burn incense, not sacrifice. The incense was a special God-prescribed formula, which sent out a rich fragrant smoke when the priest lit incense at morning and evening. Incense portrays prayers to God (Psalm 141:2, Revelation 5:8, 8:3). When one prays in the name of God’s priest (the Lord Jesus) there is power and it is a pleasing aroma to God.

Thank you for all your efforts and passion, let me add that the Tabernacle is a type and shadow of our salvation as well, Powerful metaphors! When we obey Acts 2:38 we are born again as instructed by Jesus when speaking to Nicodemus!
When we repent, it is a death to self=sacrifice of self on alter!
When we are baptized it’s a representation of the brazen laver, washing of regeneration!
Receiving the Holy Spirit we are filled with Gods Spirit, representative of entering into Holy of Holies🙏🏻
Praise God for His infallible word 🙌🏼😁
