Reformed Rookie

Добавлен 14 ноя 2018
The Reformed Rookie seeks to educate beginners, or rookies, in the richness and beauty of the Reformed faith. We want to promote a solid biblical worldview that includes a God that is sovereign over all things and worthy of our worship. We seek to demonstrate the centrality of Christ in all things and to showcase his glory. We advocate an infinitely strong God and an impotent mankind. The Reformed Rookie promotes a high view of scripture as the only infallible source of authority, the doctrines of grace, and the five solas recovered in the Reformation.
The Life: John 14:6
Pastor Anthony Uvenio begins by reading John 14:1-7, where Jesus comforts His disciples and promises to prepare a place for them, declaring Himself as "the way, the truth, and the life." Pastor Anthony reflects on the importance of following Jesus's instructions for life, contrasting it with playing board games without rules. He discusses a Ligonier study revealing concerning beliefs among evangelicals, emphasizing the need for correct theology and studying the Bible.
Pastor Anthony elaborates on Jesus's exclusive claim in John 14:6, addressing objections to Christian exclusivism and the importance of truth. They highlight that Jesus is the only way to the Father, aligning with God's reali...

There is something wrong with Kleeck.
Strait out simple, clear understanding of who Jesus is, the way the only way to the Father. Preach it my friend, God’s word has the hope of every believer, but it must be read and followed. Read it, study it, live it.
Praise God. God Bless Ed
Van disregards the gift and roll of the teacher within the church along a great many other things
"Dr" Van is so immature and a wonderful representation of the types of people who hold to TR onlyism, aka KJVolyism.
MAN! DUDE! YOU NEED TO GET RID OF THE MIC DROPS AND RECEIVING INCOMING CALLS!! PLEASE
Do you have somewhere we could purchase material for this study to review it with a local congregation (Bible Study)? I love the detail you have taken to ensure the material presented is visually and audibly delivered. Im sure its tons of slides, but Praise God for it!
if you email me I can send you the whole presentation and list the resources for you.
What a tain wreck this was. Dr. Kleeck didn't seem very professional and the moderator wasn't moderating.
From 2014 I asked the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth of scripture to me through the King James Bible. He's been revealing so much to me - & what is false. Do I labor, no. The Jews had to, still have to - if they don't have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Praise God! Stay close to the Word- its our standard!

A Critical vs Byzantine text would a more fair debate than Critical VS TR. The TR arguments are very weak.
What’s the problem with this Dr. Kleek guy?
So good surely God bless you It has surely blessed me

The trinity is important because we are made in His image.

Praise God, and thank you
Reformed Rookie needs to get away from Baptist history because nobody ever learned their lessons of the gross hereties that came from 1689.
I'm more interested as to what evidence you can provide to show JC was divine? Is that possible? I don't think it is so why should any one believe what the bible claims? Thank you.
The Bible is the **God-breathed, self-attesting** revelation, **affirmed by Jesus Christ** and **witnessed by the Holy Spirit**, standing as the ultimate authority and foundation of knowledge. To reject it is to forsake the ability to know anything with certainty, as it undergirds all truth and morality. The Bible, as the God-breathed, self-authenticating revelation, stands unchallenged as the definitive Word of God. It is: Theopneustos (God-breathed): This isn't merely divine inspiration but divine authorship, where every word is precisely what God intended, without error or contradiction in its original manuscripts. Self-Attesting: It does not require external validation because it bears its own authority. The Bible itself claims its divine origin and truth, and this claim is confirmed by its internal coherence and the testimony of Christ. Affirmed by Christ: Jesus Christ, the incarnate Word, affirmed the Scriptures, not only by His words but by His life, death, and resurrection, which are the historical and theological fulcrums upon which the truth of Scripture hinges. Confirmed by the Spirit: The Holy Spirit's internal testimony to the believer's heart provides an assurance that the Scriptures are indeed the Word of God, an assurance that transcends empirical or rationalistic proofs. Historically Corroborated: While its ultimate authority doesn't depend on historical validation, history does not contradict but often corroborates the Biblical narrative, further attesting to its reliability. Furthermore, to reject the Bible is to undermine the very foundation of epistemology. Without its divine revelation: Knowledge Loses Certainty: All human knowledge is flawed and finite. Only God's revelation provides the infallible epistemological starting point. Rejecting the Bible thus leaves one with no objective standard for truth, morality, or meaning, plunging one into skepticism or relativism. Worldview Collapse: Rejection of Scripture isn't merely a disagreement with certain truths but an assault on the Christian worldview, which presupposes God's revelation as the necessary precondition for intelligible experience. In essence, the Bible, as defined here, is not just a book but the very foundation of knowledge, morality, and reality itself. To reject it, according to Bahnsen's presuppositional argument, is to reject the possibility of knowing anything with certainty, for it removes the bedrock upon which all else stands.
You should go to a channel that focuses on Christian Apologetics. This channel's focus is towards Christians so you won't find much proofing here as we already believe.
@@michaelmagee4318 "This channel's focus is towards Christians so you won't find much proofing here as we already believe.." So you believe in something but can't provide evidence for that belief? That's doesn't make sense my friend. Are you saying you belief in things for no reason? How odd. Good luck my friend.

@@ReformedRookie "The Bible is the *God-breathed, self-attesting* revelation, *affirmed by Jesus Christ*" LOL. Good luck.
Great breakdown!! Thank you so much. I am a member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church of Newark, NJ
The amount of pride it takes to say this is fearful.
really... what are the New Testament requirements to be a priest?
Stop the obfuscation. The Bible is garbage, a d Moby Dick is stupid trash for children.
Is what what Steve Lawson believed and preached right? once saved always saved.

Wow, my church here in Australia is also called Hope Reformed Baptist Church. Praise God. I've heard the statement you mentioned but the otherway around - All Calvinists are Reformed, but not all Reformed are Calvinists. An example is Lutheran Churches are Reformed since they were basically the first Protestant Church to leave the Roman church in the Reformation, but they are not Calvinists. Anglican (Church of England/Episcopal Church) are considered Reformed as well but are not Calvinists either. The only Reformed Calvinistic churches I'm aware of are Presbyterian, Dutch Reformed, & Reformed Baptists.
good point!
The opposition to this prop and the public education on it has been abysmal to nonexistent and as a consequence it will pass easily. *I* didn't even know what it meant until i just looked into it now and I'm unusually interested in opposing the gender cult nonsense. It's going to pass.
Van Kleeck seems like a drowning person flailing in the water, trying to grasp at least another breath before he goes under for the last time and knows it.
You are the Ark of the Covenant!! The promise is the Holy Ghost, and those who receive Christ, the Holy Spirit will dwell within you. Your spirits also belong to the Almighty and will return to Him. There is a battle between Good and evil, and evil wants to sit in the temple of God. Understand, you are that temple, and evil wants to invade it, and proclaim himself god. Do NOT let your temple become an abomination to God, and let satan desolate it from his presence! Read, research, and understand scripture in its context in the present time we are living. Science has evolved. 🧠☁️💾
When James White stands before God and is asked why he helped remove His words from the Scriptures, I think he may be somewhat less vocal.
There is not 1 word removed from God's Word by Dr. James White......

Practical Theology I’m only 20 been almost 4 years in the faith and I am beyond blessed to not only have sources for exegetical theology but Reformed Rookie is a goldmine for beginners like me. What are the dangers of Normative principle of worship , Luther advocated for it ?
but so did Nadab and Abihu
I grew up in black churches that take a verse and make up anything from it. Most sermons are built from metaphors.
well, that's not how we do it- watch our videos. Don't let one bad experience stop you from reading the bible in context.
It's very hard to sit through this level of open unprofessional treatment from Peter. The moderator neglected utterly to do his job and keep the debate on topic.
Thank you Pastor 🙏
Just seeing this on RUclips I have a question or maybe something to add ok I know there were cherabin in the garden I know the 4 beast in Daniel was made of gold silver and bronze since they were made of these metals were they trying to create a tabernacle for themselves in earth and try to usurp God almighty's tabernacle plus the ram and goat in Daniel they never went west and in Daniel the abomination of desolation it says the person stands in the holy place will be be killed on the spot because priests are only allowed to enter I was listening to your study of the garden and thought that the beast was trying to make it's own tabernacle
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
sad you trot out this trope over and over again... its a false dichotomy God allows evil since mankind commits evil acts and rebels against Him like you're doing now If God got rid of all evil you and I wouldn't be here right now, but He exercises mercy.... He has willed a day in which all evil will be eradicated, so you will get your wish So, with no god- from whence does your standard for good and evil come from? Surely you'll be able to tell us....
He died for each of us. We are given the choice. Choose to live in the deception and imperfection that is in the world and be judged for falling short of perfection OR Knowing we are fall short and are imperfect and turn to Jesus to cover our mistakes with HIS PERFECTION so we can be with HIM. He doesn't force us to go to HIM. He offers us a place to stay with HIM. HE Won't force anyone to want to go to HIM. HE paid for each of us and set us all free to make that decision. He lets each of us make our own decision. The choices we make for or against each other we make for and against the people HE set free. A choice of wanting to be with someone that loves enough to die for you in your place or to choose life without HIM and the permanent separation from HIM. Not forced Offered Maranatha ❤

Great job Tom, very few people even know this is on the Balot. We need to be informed of this types of changes in our NYS constitution! There are so many loopholes in this amendment if it passes. Unfortunately his examples of situations are already happening. We have choice this… amendment will take the choice of many away.
Thank you! There’s a lot that can go wrong if this passes.
Complementarianism isn’t necessarily a distinctive. You can be 1000% a confessional Baptist and be patriarchal (not iron fist patriarchy obviously). I would even argue that the confession (and scripture) leans more toward patriarchy than complimentarianism. Complimentarianism is about as new of a theological concept as dispensationalism.
