I love when parents don't stop living for themselves when they have a baby. Obviously in a safe reasonable way, but I think it's great seeing you guys bringing Neo along for your adventures that you'll continue :)
Of course. You know some infants poo once a week. Other infants poo 5 times a day. It's all within the norm. But if every time you go out you experience a blow out and onesies and outerwear and car seat gets dirty then you might start believing it's so much easier and more peaceful to stay closer to home and not take baby shopping or places unless you have to. A blow out will take at least 15 minutes to clean up. Try dealing with five of these. Some moms can do make up and hair around their babies. Other moms can't even take a shower because there's just no free time between constant diaper changes, feedings and all that. Some people don't have a partner who is at home and who can help while mom takes a shower or makes herself a meal. A child may not be content when you put them in their crib for five minutes, even when they are right besides you. Every baby is so different and every parent has different resources to care for a baby. But it almost always it is 24/7 work. So while it's nice to think you can do everything with a baby. The fact is, a baby doesn't benefit from this. A baby doesn't benefit from being in a car seat. A baby doesn't benefit from interacting with strangers or hearing noise. Believing or not spending time at home, on a floor mat, on their tummy, being held in mom's or dad's arms, having routine is what babies thrive on. So yes, you can take occasional trips, but when your baby poos so much or is not content being in a car seat, you'll rethink it fast
Thank you for your kind answer. I'm one of the moms who does not go out on adventures, because disturbing my kid's rhythm will wreak havoc on just about everything in our lives and it's nice for once to hear that that's not just considered being boring.
when Louis says "this is grounding" my heart ❤ oh my what a special moment for him to touch grass for the first time and to see how his toes were wiggling. What an experience for him
I got so emotional seeing Raya nurse Neo out at the festival. I know that had been a journey for her and I am so filled with joy that you’re both in a place where you feel more comfortable with nursing. What an amazing life you’re giving Neo 💛 he is the luckiest little dude to have such rad parents.
I was born in the late 60’s to 2 teenage hippie parents and we lived in communes and hitchhiked everywhere. Went to so many concerts ( Cat Steven’s, Joanie Mitchell, Crosby Stills, Nash and Young etc..) and love ins. Best way to grow up ❤ Neo is so sticking cute ❤ Y’all make an amazing family 👨👩👦
Baby Neo is soooo precious! I especially love his little ear muffs, hat, and sunglasses! Bringing our children/babies to these gatherings/concerts has been expected back when we were all hippies with a lot less accommodations! Good, fun video!
Kids are very adaptable. The more sounds and environments you expose them to the more comfortable they get sleeping in different environs. Love that you took him with you and you didn’t change your plans or leave him behind. I’m sure it was great for all.
Blessed be beautiful ones! Y’all did great and Neo looked as happy as can be, dancing in daddy’s arms and telling you all about it afterwards. Do not fret.
This was such a fun video! As a mom, this was definitely not selfish. You guys listened to the needs of your son while continuing to live your lives. And it’s so cool exposing him to events like this.
This is awesome!! I did not live my life around my kids- They were just included in my life. I truly feel like this creates well rounded and adaptable adults with awesome full lives. 🙌🏻♥️
I found with both of my children that traveling with them was so much easier before they started crawling and walking. Neo is so alert, taking it all in and appears to like the carry position that allows him to look around. He's going to be a busy boy who doesn't want to miss a thing, just like his parents. Thank you for sharing his first trip. He's absolutely adorable.
You guys are the best parents! 5:39 is HILARIOUS because Louis and Neo are making the exact same face. :D Also, you don't have to put up a tent if he sleeps that well when it's a little cooler, on a cooler night, just leave the windows open with the screens on in your bedroom. I'm so proud of you guys getting out there and figuring things out on how to still be yourselves + one adorable tiny person.
My mum used to bundle me up in blankets and put me out in the garden to sleep in the daytime, summer or winter I loved it - still love warm blankets and a cold room. Love that Neo had such a great first experience and you're finding your new normal :)
This was really beautiful! The festival, the people, all of Neo’s festival firsts-feeling the grass between his toes and earth grounding him through his wittle feet, seeing you two enjoying your lifestyle with a baby now and being the amazing parents you are-IT WAS ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!! 🥹 thank you for sharing this experience with us. ☀️🌎✌️💚 🎶 🌍☀️
Neo is so cute! It was really lovely seeing you all having fun on the trip. Maybe Neo slept so well because he was grounding earlier, touching the ground with his bare feet for the first time? Grounding always helps me calm down.
You guys are so right! The sooner you get out doing things like this with the baby the easier it gets, the more you feel comfortable doing it! You’ll also soon know what you need next time you go and don’t have to pack as much!!
Good on you for getting Neo out for a new experience and getting to do something really neat you wanted to do. Keep doing it. It will get easier, you will learn, and most of all Neo will love it!
This was so lovely, I've always wanted to do something for the Summer Solstice, but I never have, I'm chronically ill and mostly bed-bound, so this was lovely to be a part of this through your video. I'm so glad you went for it and you both had such an amazing sleep! Sending lots of love to you, and anyone reading this Xxx
Great job on getting little Neo used to anything! My son's first camping trip was at 6 months and we took him to a 4 day Christian music festival at 7 months. It takes more effort, especially at bedtime, but it was such a good experience. Also, I highly recommend getting a jogging stroller with the bigger wheels. It helps so much with off-road adventures.
If you are happy and content your little man will be as well! He feeds off of your energy and vibes! He did wonderfully! So proud of you both for living and loving! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 Loved this video ❤
I love seeing an example of you guys still going out and living your life with a baby! Thank you for sharing! Also, the pure love is just oozing out of the both of you
This felt so special to watch 🥺Two very cool parents ✌️ and one cute little babe. I admire your patience and fortitude to continue your incredible life with your little one. Cot shades are handy for summer nights if you camp again x
Home is where you are. Good for you for experimenting with travel at this young age. I did with my kids and they are great travelers as older kids. Adaptation is a special skill (for all 3 of you)
I’m just in awe of the beautiful souls y’all are. Neo is so blessed to have you two as parents and vice versa. I don’t have kids. If I did I feel like I would definitely let my babies experience this new stuff as well. Making fun new memories . Always love connecting with you through your lovely videos. Seems like there were also so many beautiful souls at that festival as well. Good vibe tribes!! Much love from BC Canada 🇨🇦 ☮️❣️!!
This was awesome! Thank you for sharing! Neo is obviously enjoying himself by that conversation you all had the first night! Thank you for showing the world that you can be parents and still live the way you want! ❤
This is such a great video. It wonderful that you bring Neo with you and are so attentive to his little needs. So sweet. I love the enthusiasm as well as your honesty. You are great parents. ❤
Absolutely loved this!! Raya, I'm so, so happy for you that you've gotten to the comfortable point of feeding Neo in public❤Awe my heart melted 😊 You both are doing great. Have more trust in your intuition 🥰You're definitely doing things right❤Much love from 🇺🇸
I love seeing first time parents knowing that you have no idea what’s coming 😂 It’s also nostalgic for me remembering how easy it was but also at the time how hard and how new it was because I didn’t know what I know now. This was me with my first, showing them flowers and feet in the grass. Such an amazing thing doing everything again for the first time in a different way. And seeing them experience things even the tiny things. It’s going to get soo much funner as you go! But also with different challenges too. Being a parent really is just adapting and being flexible and being prepared. You guys have such a positive attitude and are doing such a great job! Also, Trying to function without sleeping I think is honestly the hardest part!! Haha I am taking my special needs 4 year old and 6 year old camping by myself! I almost didn’t go but my 6 year old is extremely excited about it all and was really a big motivator for me to go.
Raya, my mum always says sometimes the things you dread the most never end up being as bad as you think, so glad the wee man slept well! They do say fresh air and grounding your feet helps one’s own circadian rhythm ☺️🙌🏼
I’m from Finland and my mom used to put me to sleep outside and I slept the best then ! 😅 you guys are very inspiring as most parents stop living once they have a baby! Good for you 🤗
I'm so happy seeing you guys thriving with the little cutie! I'm currently planning a baby with my boyfriend and seeing you is so inspiring! And about the thing you said, like "seeing the world through their eyes" is so true! That's what I'm most excited about! Showing them how beautiful the world is, teaches us to appreciate it more as well :)
You guys absolutely SMASHED this!!! Way to step into something uncomfortable. You went as prepared as you could be, rather than not going at all, and that's what matters. Way to take things in your stride guys. Super encouraging for me to see you live your lives with a baby 👏🏻
Not only was it lovely to see you as a family camping out, ( which is the best sleep my boys would have ) but the morning sunrise was magical. Love Nomadic life….x
Good on you both! You are right life carries on, just adjust accordingly. Babys good night sleep might be to do with being so wrapped up, they feel more secure that way, try it at home and see what happens.
I am so pleased you had a good time and most importantly realized Neo slept well because he was in fresh air. I mentioned to you both awhile ago to let Neo sleep in his pram in the garden to listen to the sounds of nature. How is your lovely dog? You guys are doing a great job. What a beautiful baby. I'm glad you're enjoying your lives with him. Sometimes it will work Sometimes it won't. But don't loose your essence of what you began. God bless. 💕
Looks like a great adventure! Good for you guys for venturing out!. Maybe Neo's sleep was better because the air was cooler around him and he was still bundled up for warmth and felt nice and cozy!
What a dear wee bloke Neo is. He's totally adorable. A wonderful first experience for your wee family, nothing is out of reach. Fresh air + OODLES of stimulation = one tired wee man. I honestly think it's true that cooler temperatures, especially at night time, are better than over heating a room. Might be a good time to experiment at home? Love to you all from NZ xox
I think what he is saying is, Thanks mom and dad! You're doing great and how cool is it that you guys did something that cool for my first solstice! Raya.....you're so flipping gorgeous in that mama glow of yours and I think you are doing an amazing job in your new life role. ❤ Louis....it is so sweet to watch your interactions with him. Look at you supporting healthy mental growth of a human from the ground(ing😂) up!!!
Brought me right back to my childhood. My parents used to take me and my brother to a spiritual dance camp in the UK called Dance Camp East. Genuinely some of my favourite moments growing up, I think you guys and Neo would love it there.
I really commend you three for taking the leap and doing the adventure! See, you just never know how wonderful life can truly be, unless you just try! Neo will (hopefully) love living life to the fullest as well with such healthy and beautiful examples of what community can look like too! Raya, I must also just say- you are GLOWING and seem so happy! Louis you too! But really, Raya, you look amazing, and you both are such natural's at parenting. How sweet to see the blossoming change :) Never stop adventuring! Be well! Love from Oregon, USA
Oh, those sweet cooing sounds are just too much for me! I think I ovulated from listening to him 🤭 What a special experience and you both did great handling the challenges of travelling with a newborn! ❤
I love when parents don't stop living for themselves when they have a baby. Obviously in a safe reasonable way, but I think it's great seeing you guys bringing Neo along for your adventures that you'll continue :)

I read recently that in other European countries, babies are included in many more outings than American families.
Hearing Louis talk to the baby just melts your heart. Great video guys, and what a great thing to share with Neo

Watching you both as parents, just giving Neo so much love and remaining true to yourselves is such a beautiful thing to see.
What an understatement!! Love watching them with Neo, Louis showing him the things for sale, dancing with him... Such a beautiful family ❣❣

Watching Louis interact with Neo is the most heartwarming, beautiful thing 🥹
I love that stage where they discover their voice and talk and talk. You are wonderful parents. He is so lucky.
Neo's chatting on the bed was so sweet xx
the way you two look at neo and the way he looks at you is everything

SOOOO thankful for Neo + his parents video!!

Raya - you're so beautiful when feeding Neo. The look on your face. And his! From someone who's never been a mother I want to thank you for sharing.
Wow thank you!! It was such a struggle for me to get to this point so that really means so much to me 🥹❤️

Omg he’s so sweet I love this video. New parents still living life with baby. It’s so great to see. 💙
I saw you there but didn’t want to intrude. Hope you enjoyed as much as we did xx
Seeing Neo touch grass for the first time made me realise I need to tap into my inner child and discover new things again for the first time 😁❤️🙏
Babies are happy when their parents are happy! They adjust because they do!

Baby's are adaptable, took my youngest son to his 1st pow-wow when he was 5 weeks old. Neo did good.
So cool
OMG Neo is sooooo adorable, especially in his earnuffs!! ❤ And you both are such wonderfully attentive parents full of love and life!! 💕
I’m from Finland and my mom used to put me to sleep outside and I slept the best then ! 😅 you guys are very inspiring as most parents stop living once they have a baby! Good for you 🤗
It's great seeing parent do things like this. I'm 28 and have been camping and going on roads trips since I can remeber and I'm so gratefull for that.

This is so precious! All the moments where louis is being so sweet and gentle really make the ovaries explode haha. What a beautiful family
I'm so happy he and you guys enjoyed it so much. He will def get more used to the crowds and noise ❤❤
Not only was it lovely to see you as a family camping out, ( which is the best sleep my boys would have ) but the morning sunrise was magical. Love Nomadic life….x

I'm so freaking proud of all of you! Great job Neo!! What fun!!💗 Love it and y'all! 💗
I am so pleased you had a good time and most importantly realized Neo slept well because he was in fresh air. I mentioned to you both awhile ago to let Neo sleep in his pram in the garden to listen to the sounds of nature. How is your lovely dog? Just live your lives with Neo and don't make situations such a big thing. Babies are really adaptable, parents very often make the problems. Gail, Czech Republic ❤️
Totally agree 👍🏻 i am from Czech and i believe i slept more outside then inside 😂hi from Ireland 🇮🇪 😊
Not selfish at all. We give up and give all for our children but happy parents make happy children. Keep on adventuring! Keep on being you!
I agree with taking him with to such a fun activity, love the tent! You are doing a great job Mom & Dad!
Thanks for being an example of the balance that can be found prioritizing both parenting and the baby joining, rather than changing, your life. My husband and I are avid skiers. Similar to what you're saying, we've found a path to doing it, but it does look different. We take turns on the slopes if we don't have another adult with us. We didn't want to give up skiing regularly as we wanted to expose our kiddo to that lifestyle. So we found a way that worked for us all. I feel so validated seeing you find a way to make solstice celebrations work!!! Thank you!
I think it's wonderful you took Neo to that festival!!! What a great experience for your little family ❣❣

Oh wow that looked like a fabulous Solstice celebration! Neo looked like he enjoyed it.
So happy for you guys. Raya is just glowing... I couldn’t stop smiling watching you with Neo. ❤
Thank you! ☺️
How sweet! It’s very cool to be along with you all for some of Neo’s “firsts”😊. He is too cool for school in his 😎
It is great that you your child is living with you. We did the same with our children it always work. Like you said be flexible and go with the flow. Happy parents, happy child.
Loved this video, thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed seeing you have an awesome time with Neo. We miss you guys!

Looks like a great adventure! Good for you guys for venturing out!. Maybe Neo's sleep was better because the air was cooler around him and he was still bundled up for warmth and felt nice and cozy!
The more adventures you take him on, at an early age, the better he’ll sleep and the more confident he will become.
Thats awesome i remember watching louis back in 2012 up to when he first met raya thats absolutely awesome that they have a little family now 🎉🎉🎉
Bravo you two...awesome you did your thing exposing Neo to sites ans sounds is truly the spice if parenthood life❤❤❤❤❤

This video is awesome..... bringing back sweet memories.
My son is 23!! Thank you guys so much for sharing.
Such a little angel. Unreal that he slept so well.
I love his baby talk!! So sweet ❤
Brought me right back to my childhood. My parents used to take me and my brother to a spiritual dance camp in the UK called Dance Camp East. Genuinely some of my favourite moments growing up, I think you guys and Neo would love it there.

How sweet to see the blossoming change :)
Never stop adventuring! Be well! Love from Oregon, USA
The arms up Love to Dream swaddles are the best! We called our son "our little wingnut" when he was in one.
A beautiful adventure. It’s wonderful to take the baby to learn new things and you see he slept very well. Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing.❤❤❤❤
